It's too bad I couldn't understand what the voice was saying right at the end. Was it a clue from the Jigsaw voice? Did it tell him to do that? It sounded like it was saying, "S'mores!" Is that why he sandwiched his head between his hands and made like a S'more? I mean, unless the voice was giving him a clue right at the end, it doesn't make sense because he had already given up hope, crossed himself, and expected to die... So, I just don't get it.

so he didn't die... he had a pretty easy choice anyways. you would notice pretty quickly if you could see that you could lean forward and not get hurt
