Love what you do on these magnificent version excursions of classic riddims; you also obviously have a superb collection of records...salute.
Followed you in the 70s and 80s David. Your version excursions were amazing. The days of Greg Edwards and Alex Pascal etc but you were boss. Radio London, Capital Radio and so on. I was so glad to hear about the history or reggae from you. Enjoyed your excursion into Sherlock Holmes too.

Ha! Not sure what you mean exactly. Yes, I am using the turntables and the mixer to mix the songs (using Traktor, so I don't have to change the vinyl) I'm also doing a bit of "dancing" with my hands from time to time. Definitely not pretending though.

Sounds great! How does these seemingly blank vinyls work?
+Josefs Tiselius They are "timecode" vinyl, for use with a system called Traktor. Basically, they define where in a digital file you are playing, so when you put the needle at the beginning of the record, they play at 0:00 and as the needle goes across the grooves, the song plays according to where the needle is on the record.

Its Traktor control vinyl. It sends a signal to the software to play a digital file based on where the needle is on the record

I don't really make downloads of the mixes available, but there's software freely available online that will let you download the audio track of a youtube video as an MP3. If you want to download the whole show, go to archive.org and search for algoriddim
