Yes, it's lovely seeing Try Guys (and to a lesser extent Smosh) use their years of experience, big crews and sets to facilitate this. I know smosh donated 25k as well, on top of helping out. I like that while they took care of hosting things, they didn't bulldoze the people who actually started the idea and/or have proper connections to the cause.

Steve was an insanely good guest to have in for this!! he’s on the ground 3 decades with his organization and told it how it is. He revealed really important reflections on the severity of what’s going on and how purposeful it is. I rewatched the segment Keith Eats Palestinian Food and wrote out what they tried. I’m excited to try making some of these recipes!! 💗🍉 Appetisers - Manakish (za’atar topped dough) - Falafel - Stuffed grape leaves (warak dawali) - Mujadara (lentils, rice, crispy onions - v excited about this one!!) Entrees - Shrimp and courgette (zucchini for Americans). They mentioned a dish called Kousa which is courgette stuffed with rice and shrimp. - Chicken kabab with jalapeño. - Beef kabab with jalapeño. Sides - Baba Ganoush - Hummus - Mint tea Desserts - Namoura cake (semolina coconut cake drizzled in sugar syrup). On stream they mentioned rose water in the sweetener. - Lady fingers (Znoud El Sit). Filo pastry stuffed with sweet cream and topped with nuts, typically pistachios. - Baklava. Layers of filo pastry, honey, rose water, crushed pistachio. - Rice pudding. Also flavoured with rose. - Honourable mention for Knafeh which they didn’t eat but said was the best.
So incredible to see content creators coming together to show solidarity with the Palestinian people! As a local organizer who has been helping organize demonstrations for Palestine in Asheville NC, as well as across the Carolinas, it has been so good to see the level of support across the country, and the world, for the Palestinians who have long been in struggle for their liberation. And I wanted to let folks know that their is a national mobilization to DC happening June 8th at 12pm to surround the White House in all red to show that, while our government may not have a real red line in this ongoing genocide, we do. This is being organized by organizations like the Palestinian Youth Movement and the ANSWER coalition, and you can find out more by going to the ANSWER coalition insta - where you can also find info on buses heading to DC. It is crucial for us to continue applying as much pressure as we can to get our government to do what we know it can do and use its leverage to end this genocide.

Yes, it's lovely seeing Try Guys (and to a lesser extent Smosh) use their years of experience, big crews and sets to facilitate this. I know smosh donated 25k as well, on top of helping out. I like that while they took care of hosting things, they didn't bulldoze the people who actually started the idea and/or have proper connections to the cause.

I am not Palestinian, but I have been a supporter of Palestinian liberation for almost a decade. This fight had been a lonely one. I have cried many, many tears alone or with my Palestinian friends. So, never in a million years, did I think we would get here. Albeit, at the expense of so many innocent Palestinian lives.

I'm glad I found this video by chance, congratulations (as of June 2nd) to have reached past the 1.5 million mark!! I've send in a donation and positively adore all of you. Steve was an insanely good guest to have in for this!! he’s on the ground 3 decades with his organization and told it how it is. He revealed really important reflections on the severity of what’s going on and how purposeful it is. I can imagine a lot of less informed viewers from across all these creators walked away with new eyes to this.
Thank you to every single creator and admin people that have taken the time to plan and execute this amazing event. You have given so many people a regeneration of hope. - Manakish (za’atar topped dough)
- Falafel
- Stuffed grape leaves (warak dawali)
- Mujadara (lentils, rice, crispy onions - v excited about this one!!)
Entrees
- Shrimp and courgette (zucchini for Americans). They mentioned a dish called Kousa which is courgette stuffed with rice and shrimp.
- Chicken kabab with jalapeño.
- Beef kabab with jalapeño.
Sides
- Baba Ganoush
- Hummus
- Mint tea
Desserts
- Namoura cake (semolina coconut cake drizzled in sugar syrup). On stream they mentioned rose water in the sweetener.
- Lady fingers (Znoud El Sit). Filo pastry stuffed with sweet cream and topped with nuts, typically pistachios.
- Baklava. Layers of filo pastry, honey, rose water, crushed pistachio.
- Rice pudding. Also flavoured with rose.
- Honourable mention for Knafeh which they didn’t eat but said was the best.

So incredible to see content creators coming together to show solidarity with the Palestinian people! As a local organizer who has been helping organize demonstrations for Palestine in Asheville NC, as well as across the Carolinas, it has been so good to see the level of support across the country, and the world, for the Palestinians who have long been in struggle for their liberation. And I wanted to let folks know that their is a national mobilization to DC happening June 8th at 12pm to surround the White House in all red to show that, while our government may not have a real red line in this ongoing genocide, we do. This is being organized by organizations like the Palestinian Youth Movement and the ANSWER coalition, and you can find out more by going to the ANSWER coalition insta - where you can also find info on buses heading to DC. It is crucial for us to continue applying as much pressure as we can to get our government to do what we know it can do and use its leverage to end this genocide.

I have especially so much respect for Zach as someone who is not only religiously but ethnically Jewish, this takes a lot of courage to take yourself away from the unity of the majority and stand with those who see the truth and seek peace (such as Jewsforpeace) even if it’s hard , much love❤️🍉
I left Islam due to some religious trauma, but the Islamophobia and racism is so obvious in those who refuse to stand with Palestine, and for no reason at all. It isn't politics anymore, it's humanity. Free Palestine because they're humans and they deserve their lives. 🍉
