- Alright, so I'm back after a few weeks (yayyy)! I spent most of this time coding and recording this custom origins data pack I created. In this data pack, players can now have their origins evolve into adapted forms. These adapted forms give the origins new powers and can be achieved through simply slaying the Ender Dragon though. On this SMP though, not everyone seems to want to share this new power...

Algorithm Stuff:
This video is not a Dream Minecraft Speedrun but is a not pay-to-win mod playthrough of a custom origin Minecraft mod that is super scary and like a horror game. We are not in the oldest anarchy server 2B2T and are in version 1.12.2. This video is also not a Minecraft Manhunt video. This is no lava but rising either. (textConjure) A new origins smp. A new Technoblade origin isn't found here.

BEFORE YOU COMMENT: No, unfortunately, this is not a public server and is invite only. I may make a fully fledged server in the future but for now, it's probably going to stay private.
Also, the entire fight scene from 12:50 to 13:51 was copyrighted, so I had to mute it unfortunately, otherwise though, the rest of the video is fine. This won't happen again in the future as I will let youtube check it before letting the video go public.

Cool additions, makes the mode more involved. Also I got a cool idea. What if the ender dragon and the wither give different abilitys, like you get 2 new abilitys when you evolve right? So one ability stays the same for both of the bosses but the other is dependent on what boss you killed. The ender dragon gives a defensive ability and the wither gives a offensive ability. Of course you did an amazing job. Keep at it.

Good idea, but it would require the addition of an advancement for killing the wither since origins uses advancements for evolutions. (luckily it is doable for data packs, I've seen people do it)

I would recommend giving zombie villagers items instead of naming them with name tags. If they can't pick up loot (which there's a good chance they can), you can then name them.
In bedrock edition you can put armor on them with dispensers but I'm not sure about java
@@OswaldM_14 You can't on Java (which is probably a bug). But that's a bit more difficult than just throwing items on the ground anyways :-)

@@IHasName (I don't know how hard this would be so you can say no, I won't be mad) you should add an ender mite origin that evolves into a dragon but before then only has weaknesses, and after is BROKEN
May I suggest filling their base with TNT, setting it off, and claiming a charged creeper blew up at their base? (I suggest dying to a creeper to make it seem legit)

I like how this entire thing was their fault. From the very beginning they were on the attack when mans went to trade. Then they hid their portal leading to him stalking them where they then cause a battle and after having a draw they burn mans house down

5:18 Just a heads up, the fishing pool there is too small to get any of the treasure loot table, you need to have the pool be at least 5x4x5, so it would have to be 2 blocks deep, and then the pool, you would need to basically be fishing in the middle of a 5x5 square.
9:30 I can guarantee that with a merling on your side you will never be low on resources if you can get them to an ocean, due to how common underwater ravines are how deep they go, sometimes they even branch off into water filled caves that go deep enough to get diamonds from, you can get a lot just by ravine diving as a merling, although my preferred way to play merling on servers is to start a underwater society because you never want to fight a group of merlings in their home turf as they can swarm like piranhas and are impossible to hit due to bows not working underwater. Unstopability is the merling way, although it does force you to completely revaluate certain resources.

I’m going too be completely honest with you... the way you made this video, amazing, I loved the intro, and it was entertaining, also describing minecraft features during that one part, loved it, also, adapted feline origin, I need too use it, i already thought the feline origin was kinda cool, besides the drawbacks, but still it seems amazing now, and the drawbacks for the feline could easily be outplayed, so I love this video, I love the adapted origins, just all around amazing
Great video, the additions you made were great. I honestly could have used them since my origin smp all got bored after a few weeks. My suggestion is more of a war strategy, which is to have your next teammate be a phantom. They are op in combat and espionage, and you have enough food to support them with the micro farm.
Basically a phantom to infiltrate and assassinate and a shulk as a frontline fighter

My tip in getting through this is to get to the nether and if you are getting a third ally I will try to get a blaze born as he will come in and look for the blazes and You will keep guarding your base until he comes in one more thing prevent them from entering the base by using water and obsidian as it will cover a lot make sure they are offline to do this and really one more thing store any important weapons in your shulker box

I had an idea for an origin called the fallen. They spawn underground and have permanent night vision. However in bright light they gain brightness, and anything above light level 1 gives them nausea. In addition, if they stand in sunlight they catch fire until they go back underground, or fully submerge themselves in water. At night with the moon they get blindness, due to the light level. Since they can’t go above ground, they gain a few new recipes, and can collect stone with their fists like shulkers. The new crafting items are ston rods(they replace sticks, crafter like sticks but with stone/cobblestone instead) and a stone table, which replaces crafting tables. In complete darkness they also make no sound and have strength, but this requires light level 0 to function.

You should probably invest in a hoglin farm for infinite food so it isn’t a big problem. It basically gives you infinite food, covering your only weakness basically. Nice video man! Keep up the great work!

Being able to exploit the negatives of each origin sounds incredibly fun. Like needing to build areas out of obsidian to nerf the phantoms
I think a cool origin would be some kind of Card Dealer and each time you mined or fought something,a card would appear granting you good or bad effects ( like a free crit or mining fatigue ) and if it were to evolve it could be called the Ace and it had better effects like 15 seconds of free crits and also had a power where you shoot a radius of cards and one of the cards is a buff and one other card is a insta-kill.

When I first heard about Minecraft origins, I couldn’t help but wonder how each race would function as a society so just to try and speculate. I am going to theorize on how these different races would operate in a shared world of Minecraft labelling how their strengths, weaknesses and of course origin affect their ways of life. (If you do not like reading just leave while you can)
Enderian: originating from the end these endermen like people can be occasionally seen in the overworld and rarely in the nether. They teleport often like there cousins but are a lot more precise about where they are going, they live in small communities or alone in any land they deem fit except oceans, swamps, lakes, and rivers for obvious reasons. Personally, they prefer living in the end islands and are neutral by nature they will almost never start a fight, but don’t hesitate to fend for themselves.
Weaknesses: Water and Pumpkins
Strengths: Teleportation and reach
Slime: Originating from slimes they are bouncy and roam the swamps and numerous biomes of the overworld. They most likely enjoy roaming in water filled caves and dripstone caverns. They are almost always with other slimes bouncing in in their caverns or near other shallow water sources. This is for a good reason they prefer to avoid fire-based damage burning could render their survival capabilities useless. One of their abilities is to shrink to a smaller size when near death to become a harder target. However, fire damage can stack and kill them quickly making this ability ineffective. They are curious but territorial they tend to like to keep people away from there damp homes.
Strengths: High jumpers and no fall damage
Weaknesses: fire and Exhaustion
Avians: Are near weightless people which is most likely achieved because of massive lungs and Light bodies. They inhabit mountains and cliffsides they do not fear heights, and love having the high ground. They are always traveling from mountain to mountain setting up camp to sleep for the night. This lifestyle however has a cost. Fresh, open, high-altitude air is required for their health making it impossible for them to stay comfortably at low elevations thus making sleep impossible. They are also 100% vegan, eating only a plant-based diet. Thus, they would be relatively passive by nature and avoiding conflict would be there go to.
Strengths: slow falling and light bodies (quicker movement)
Weakness: cannot sleep at low elevations and vegan
Inchling: small and tricky inchlings are the smallest race and only inhabit the overworld. They go unnoticed most of the time and make communities anywhere they can fit. They favor intelligence and planning above all else. Considering they are at a size and strength disadvantage against everyone they meet, its important for them to be creative. They make traps live in hidden areas and make rather large communities they are friendly to most but not all.
Strengths: Less food required, adaptable, and can climb numerous surfaces
Weakness: low health and small size
Merling: These people are basically mermaids with legs and are completely at home in the water. They live in all Minecraft oceans especially near corals or monuments. They eat fish and hunt guardians for their fragments using tridents. Just like mermaids they are not a fan of land. The only time they will come on land is if it starts raining heavy, or they have access to a reverse water-breathing potion. Other than that, they spend their lives underwater in build and traveling along coastlines. They themselves are content living in the ocean although some move into lakes or rivers to see what wonders could be seen on the land.
Strengths: Breathes underwater and Excellent swimmers
Weaknesses: Needs water to breath
Phantom: This race does one thing better than any other, and that is stealth. Sunlight can burn them, so they remain hidden in the shadows of the overworld, and some parts of the end. They remain mostly undetected around other races or creatures. That is until they decide they want to show themselves. Phantoms can go into a state of invisibility where they can travel through walls. In this phantom like state, they can stand in the sun however not for long. This phantom like state burns a lot of calories so at nighttime most rather lots of food if they wish to travel during daytime. Thanks to there stealth and easy access to any place they can be great thieves, assassins, or spies. They are rather mysterious by nature, most travel in packs or tribes. However, a few spend most of their life’s solitary.
Strengths: Invisibility and Phasing through objects
Weaknesses: sunlight and less health
Blaze born: the most aggressive out all the races they were born ready to fight. They live in the nether and have a hot temper mirroring the harsh and unforgiving land, they inhabit. They have a love for hot temperatures and are immune to all fire damage. This has made them a very dominant race of the Nether. They are personal a heavy warrior-based race they have a lot of ideals based on a sense of honor. Some have tried to go to the overworld and make it their home, by heating things up (burning everything), but they have extreme weakness to water and cold conditions. Water not only hurts them, but it also weakens there fighting capabilities unlike enderians and endermen. Since the overworld has abundant rain clouds and water sources, they spend most of their lives in the nether.
Strengths: increase damage while on fire, and lava immunity
Weaknesses: water and snowy based damage
Shulk: Tanky and strong they inhabit the end islands and small parts of the over world. Like there shulk relatives they have a hard shell surrounding their bodies. Also like their cousins they do not do much traveling usually inhabiting a small territory and living their long lives there. They can store a lot more than other creatures, using this ability to always keep heavy stocks of food on them. They lack fully functional grasping appendages thus they are limited in what weapons they can use. They are patient and are big isolationists they prefer to be left alone but can typically fend for themselves.
Strengths: Raw strength and storage abilities
Weaknesses: starvation and tool wielding
Arachnids: Natural hunters they live in dim forests, narrow caves, Jungles, and Dark oak woods mainly. They are distant sentient relatives to all Minecraft spiders. They are very active hunters in the dawn and at night-time but are friendlier in daytime and in well light areas. They only eat meat, so hunting is a way of life for them, though they do it with consideration. They can make webs which they can use to trap prey or build a temporary home. They are not very tanky and have three less hearts than other races or large species.
Strengths: Damage and cobwebs
Weaknesses: Three less hearts and Diet limited to meat
Elytrians: This born for air travel they have a pair of wings upon entering their world. They live in Jungles, mountains, cliffsides, and end islands. These places provide them with plenty of room to glide around. They hate tight and enclosed spaces it’s against their nature to put themselves in a situation where they can’t escape. They can boost into the air to become air borne and fight well while airborne. However, they are prone to fall damage their bones are most likely very weak to help them retain their flying capabilities. Heavy armor makes it impossible for them to fly is not a viable option for them to wear it. They display competitive behaviors when it comes to expanding their colonies and would most likely compete in flight-based competitions very often.
Strengths: Wings and Flight based combat
Weaknesses: Fall damage, armor limitation, and Claustrophobic
Feline: To try and sum these guys up they are just big sentient bipedal cats. They scare creepers, have night vision, and take no fall damage. However, they are rather weak physically making in a struggle to gather resources and they have a little less health than other races, though others have it much worse. They are solitary as most felines and live alone scrapping together food and a home for themselves.
Strengths: Agility, Keen eyesight, and creeper intimidation
Weaknesses: Physical strength and slightly lower health

This person is taking time to actually do stuff on their server, meanwhile on mine all i do is steal my friends’ stuff and frame it in my house ( with permanently borrowed leather). I also do a lot of house things, cuz I’m a fish. I can’t leave my flooded villager house, but it’s ok, cuz I dug the ground out and have room to do stuff. And I only survive on kelp, but we don’t talk about that 🙃

You know what would be really cool? A server based on evolution. So a bunch of players will spawn normally, right? Lets say the first 5 to 15 to 50 players depending on the server size, and any further players are spawned next to other players who (activley choose to) let them spawn next to them, but with one random mutation. This could be anything to being slightly more hungry or having better sight in the dark, or even a third appendage or something. And each time you have children or those children have grand children you get a point on a scoreboard or something. And over time this could lead to players diverging into different species, like ones who suffer blindness in the sunlight but can dig with their hands and see in the dark, or another species that's completly aquatic and 10 feet tall but cant eat land food. And if one species dies out, the players can just respawn into the dominant species, and that species will continue to branch off. Mutations could also appear because of your enviroment, like being able to climb trees if you live in tree houses or crawling up mountains if your lineage lives there for an extended period of time.
