Fairly new player here. Aware this is a showcase and not a tutorial guide but I was able to figure out some of the notations and timing. For anyone having trouble with some of the early combos you do have to dash in a bit before jumping to make sure the air combo connects. I've joined the Kitana empire thanks to you 👑
sick vid as always, really opening my eyes to this kitana shit. jax also has the ability to deal 340 on an up block grab punish and thats just super fun. biggest issue i'm having is these ground pound set ups on block aren't real from what i'm seeing. if the bot is set to crouch block and it gets hit by the ground pound, they fly up as though they weren't blocking at all. recording the sequence as kitana and attempting to crouch block it as the opponent shows you get a different hit state, and the ex fan will never hit. working around that im tryna see if i'm really gonna put the time into him or stick to what i'm used to

Im trying to replicate the DB3 trick with Jax , punching the floor. But my Jax seems to be faster in the execution of that move. I cant event land the fan, coz Jax hit the ground very fast ( calling him at the same time i start the combo with Kitana
Fellow kitana main but I use kano. What would you say its the best kameo for her? Feel just me on Kano but I love the screen presence kano gives. Best for pressure, best for zoning?
I cant get the db1 to hit the opponent after the stand 2 string into df2 into jax kameo. It seems like pure luck whenever the special connects. What could be going from? Tried doing the combo at 0:55
You can do this in practice mode but online the db3 set up doesn’t work. I discovered this about 2 weeks and for some reason when online jaxs pounds doesn’t launch when doing the exact same movement
it’s due to them sitting in crouch block, i’ve been hitting it online ig because people reactively try to jump out of jax ground pound trying to find other ways around it rn
If it's the timing for the kameo, sending Jax in right after the first slash hits works for me. If it's the timing after Jax's kameo, you have to dash forward before jumping to get the air combo in.
yea the windbomb set ups are the real stuff and jax ground pound is a gimmick jus crouch block it and you lose 5% instead of 35%, also the windbomb set ups have massive scaling unless you can time your throw to hit a frame or 2 before the bomb pops

Ok, i discovered that if the opponent doesn't block, Jax is faster landing the punch to the ground xD

nice stuff mate. Bummer is that if opponent is simply crouch blocking that groundpound, that fan wont connect.
if you set that bot to crouch block, it connects but that bot doesnt really do that. Record kitana and block it ur self and u will notice.
