  • Using only one skein of Caron One Pound yarn, you can crochet up this One Skein Baby Blanket that is using the Crochet Criss Cross Stitch.
This is a simple 2 row repeat baby blanket that has criss crosses with single crochet rows that separate them from each other.
An easy blanket as a whole. The tutorial will also tell you how to change the size and gives an alternative method to begin this blanket so it may make it even easier for you.

At the 3:25 minute mark, I said to put in a SC at the last stitch. It's a Double Crochet and a double crochet is demonstrated. My mouth screwed up. I'm sorry.

OMG! As a new crocheter, this was the first blanket stitch I ever tried! And then I lost the video. Almost 6 months later, I've found it tonight! It stuck with me after only watching it ONCE. It's been my favorite all this time.🥺
    Thank you!!

I was so happy to find this pattern for a baby blanket. It is easy to follow and fun to do. When I finished my project and looked closely, I realized the pattern was all X & O's, for hugs and kisses. Thank you for your very professional instructions. My friend will love her baby gift. Loved it!

Noemi Torres-Johnston thanks for the reply! Well I thought I was. I think I was having trouble with where to put the last stitch. I’ve started over again and have about 10 perfect rows now. Think I might finish this time. 😁

A few things... 1.) Thank you again for your time and knowledge. Sharing as freely as you do makes a real difference to people around the world. It's much appreciated. 2.) Your changes are helpful for those who attempt to follow traditional rules like CH3 counts, etc. 3.) I admit I watch so I can direct people to tutorials I trust and you always deliver! Keeping me from having to make one lol. 4.) I don't know how you and Spinrite decide on patterns, and I know you pick well written patterns. However, this one while easy enough I wouldn't use if not for your tutorial. It doesn't state that the multiple is odds, no chart and the CH2 really should have been a CH3 to begin with. I'm saying this here so the people at Spinrite consider making info like that standard. Quality over quantity. Last I hope you & yours have a great New Year and that 2019 is the best year yet! ~ Sarah Woobie Hooker
