Nice to see a proper, well-maintained natural grass pitch. I feel like almost all the L1O teams play on artificial turf.
but even artifical grasses have differences imo. Some are sticker than others, some more black bits etc etc.
wake up babe, IST just uploaded
Really fast paced match had me on the edge of my seat the whole time
Its like both teams are allergic to keeping possession 😂
#16 for Guelph was electric
Only player with quality lmao
He’s got insanely quick feet
one of the best IST games
What ,,,! Lol
I expect better from League 1 Men's premier.
These kids need to learn field positioning/formation and composure.
#16 for Guelph was a standout in midfield.

#16 ended up getting a pro contract/opportunity.. he scored some brilliant goals in another game unfortunately it wasnt a good enough game to post highlights here
#16 the only one who has magic on his feet.
really good game, good football, no tantrums 💪
Yeah, really good game

Good match. Black team has some very talented and faast players
Looked like a great game and a good standard of football 👍🇬🇧
great game by guelph
bro is devious with the cele
Ref did a pretty decent job considering he doesn’t have VAR at his beckon call.
Pity with the overturn, ref had it right the first time, and a better angle. Just because the sideline ref pitches in, doesn't mean he can't stick to his call.
Black team felt better on the ball, but nice comeback from red team.
Sidenote: That black 9 is very egotistical and slow on the ball, could use some work :D
The "overturn" looked like it was the right call in the end. The ball came up off his own thigh as he was stretching to play the ball. The arms are in a position that is normal for that stretch.
I agree with you that the Assitant Referee was quite a long way to have an impact on that call (unless he had a different foul, like a push in the back). However, this could have been shortly after the Laws of the Game had changed and this was a case of a more senior referee helping out a newer one to this level.
@@grumpyref game was 2023-5-23 if that helps
In terms of the overturn, my only thought is after discussion they agreed that was a natural extension of the defender's body based on the play he was trying to make. It looked like he was planning to hoof it out of the area, so it would make sense for his arm to be there as part of that motion. He just bottled the kick.
Keep in mind the Laws say: "A player is considered to have made their body unnaturally bigger when the position of their hand/arm is not a consequence of, or justifiable by, the player’s body movement for that specific situation". So it's not an unnatural position generally, but relative to what the player was trying to do in that situation.
It's a 50/50 decision for me but I can see the argument for the overturn from that perspective.
@ISTSoccer I believe the wording of that interpretation was changed a year or two before that.
FIFA/IFAB have been tweaking the Laws for a number of years now, so it is not easy to keep up with!
I agree with the overturn, ball hits the leg first then the arm. Good spot from the AR, I think the referee knew straight away he was incorrect by his body language
Calling soft 💩 like that in the box encourages flopping for PKs…
7:03😭😭😭
