WORST offside call ever by AR2, but BEST offside call ever by AR1!! Impressed he stuck with that to waive off what would have been the deciding goal
What on earth was the ref doing at 23:58? Kid goes down, completely controls the ball with his hands/arms, gets back up, then pretends to fall over again, lays on the ball while the green player is trying to get the ball, and then kicks a back pass to a teammate. So many opportunities to correctly blow the play dead and give green a free kick. Handball, diving, dangerous play?
it was not a deliberate handball, he was positioning himself to get up and the green kicked the ball into his hand.
@@user-kq3gm3zc4x - he fell on the ball and it hits his hands…and then it hit his hands again where he gained an advantage (handball) regardless of if the ball was kicked into him.
Falling down and having the arm under your body to support you is not a foul. He's allowed to put his arm underneath his body to get back up. This wasn't a handball - though it was a pretty clear foul be the opponent through the back just after he got up.
@@jasonwright8561- first time he falls it’s not a foul…but by rule, it’s a handball…for either of the two times the ball hits his arms.
why would either be a foul? First time, he's just fallen on the ball - he can't control where is arms go (and this is specifically mentioned in the LOTG as no foul). Second, arm is under him to get up and it's kicked into him. @@CaptainDawg02
That was such a terrible offside call...like.....not only was he on his own half, he also wasn't past the last defender. How could he miss both qualifications??
I just saw that and went straight to the comments, offsides on your own half???
@@jekkjekk9339 technically you can be offside in your own half since the rule change in 2019(I believe). It is not the case here
@@timhueer4953 I don’t know what rule change you’re referring to. But you can never be offsides when on your own half. That’s never changed.
@@timhueer4953 Weird, I didn't know there was a change but that doesn't sound like it makes any sense. I reffed through high school and college and can't imagine they would change something like that. It doesn't make sense
Edit: I just looked it up and you're misinformed Tim.
You can be in an 'offside position' on your half but you can't get called for it.
@@timhueer4953 no, there was a never rule change regarding to that 💀 you can never been offside from your own half lmao
The AR forgot about three different things on that errant offside call (20:00):
1. The determination of position is made when the ball is played. (I confidently say "forgot" rather than chalking it up to perceptual error because the ball enters the other half before any player does.)
2. A player is not in an offside position in their own half.
3. A player is not in an offside position if level with or behind the ball.
A complete failure of training and assessment on display.
Edit: And a sublime call at 28:37. It's wasted on this game, sadly, given how poorly the rest of the crew performed.
Yep, you can make arguments for all of these 👍 Though with your third one, I think you also mean to include the last defender (or second-to-last opponent). While that third argument is true, it’s true when the ball is ahead of the last defender. It’s not offside if the player with the ball is past the last defender and passes it to a teammate that’s behind the ball. However if the ball is behind the last defender you play the typical offside procedure with the last defender. I’m sure that’s what you meant though, and overall a good set of points! (And yes, I agree the offside in the attacker’s own half was abysmal!)
Everyone is beefing on the referee, but I think he did really well. He was in position on almost every call, most of his foul calls (not all of them but most), were pretty accurate, he waits to call some fouls that could be potential advantages and I think he played them really well too. He is able to clarify on how the game is playing and how much contact there is and he starts to adjust to it either calling it tighter or looser. Yes, the offside calls could have been more accurate but everyone is human. We must respect referees as they are putting in a lot of work to call the game to the best of their abilities and I think players, coaches, and parents often lack this respect. Treat everyone equally and if you hate a call that a referee makes, suck it up and deal with it.
Poor reffing but the players preformed amazing!
No referee was fine, his assistants were terrible lol.

The awareness, body feint and through ball number 3 did for Mississauga’s third goal was so good
29:15 That was offsides since the scoring player was camped on the goal line with the keeper behind him the defender on the goal line takes the position of the keeper. Therefore the keeper being behind the scoring player creates the offsides. If the keeper and the defender were on the goal line at the time the ball was passed then the goal would have counted. By the way what the heck were the other defenders doing just watching while 3 green shirts were camped at the goal. LOL What a fun game to watch.
I'm glad they caught the offside there, easy one to miss in the heat of the moment.
Also, the free kick that led to that almost goal wasn't even a foul. The forward kicked the ball way in front of himself, dodged a defender then got the call. He wasnt even touched and had NO chance to get the ball back. Would've been a horrible way to end such a good game.
No one talking about the penalty moment at 6:30? You can actually hear the contact in the replay, but no penalty given XD
It's either a penalty or a yellow card for diving. It can't be neither, which is what the ref went with lmao
Nah, I'm not calling that even 1 time outta 10 tries.
@@Dan-kr1hh I'm blaming the lino for that one. Don't think the referee could see it properly.
Oh my on the offside call at 20:00.
Player was before half AND the defender was ahead him lol what an atrocious call
@@CC-sp6kl yea there were multiple reasons why he was still onside. Not sure how you can miss that one.
25:17 the reason for the yellow was because he took his jersey off (for the people who are confused)
yooo!!!! that 3rd goal from mississauga made me comment!!! good game boys
Definite penalty at 6:30 but I don't entirely blame the referee for missing it. His view seemed blocked and he needed help from the linesman...who for some reason said no.
And from 19:45...no words. Again lino putting the referee in a difficult position.
Referee had an okay game. Shame he was backed by poor assistants.
At 23:00 the green defender got away with like 4 fouls, only to get a "good tackle" from the parents 🤦🏻♂️😂
Listening to the parents all game would drive me nuts
left coaching bc of that 0 patience for parents screaming what to do
Listening to the black teams coach scream the whole first half would've done it for me
Imagine swarming the pitch and taunting opposing fans after drawing level
THAT'S INCREDIBLE!
That offside call was the right call. That striker next to the post was the last man in front of goal and look where the defender is
Thought the referee made most of the right calls, there just should have been a few more cards
Kids are great players, but the refs made some awful calls and no calls…

number 21 for north mississauga had some great skill
This ref deserves all the earfuls heard. What game was he watching?!

I’m honestly amazed that the fans were allowed to push over/hop the fence and celebrate with the players on the field. As a referee, I would never allowed that to occur.
Good game, didn't need the clickbaity title. Yeah it was onside, but refs ain't perfect, especially on a quick breakout. You get that. NM tried to own the refs early. I might've carded the coach there, or when the play stopped for a head injury.
YA we couldve probably done
without that title but.. just wondering.. have you seen another offside call that was this bad before? I've only seen 2 . One has been circulating on social media lately .. the other we filmed in 2017 .
They were in their own half by about 2 metres and he was behind two defenders. So, yes, it was a shocking offside decision.
hes not only onside with the defense but he's also inside his own half .... the title was hardly clickbait since it was the worst offside call i've seen.
@@k0f3r The receiver of the pass was not inside his own half. He seemed to be 1-2 feet onside. linesman definitely lost discipline, watching the game down the end instead of minding his line, not tracking the forward black player.
Not the first time since I've seen that call flubbed. Especially youth soccer, occasionally with state (PIAA) referees even.
@@ISTSoccer I've seen it before, especially when that happens. Linesman not watching the play, sudden counter. As a coach of a bad team, I relied a lot on the offside trap (I had 13 for a JV team, and I think we had 11 twice.. Other times I had kids playing up on varsity, or no-show. Small school now absorbed).
HAHAHAHA He was 10 metres inside his own half and one metre behind the opposition defender.
Clear pen lmao that one player just gets a menace to society badge
I hate to say it. But the referee let this go to far starting in the first half. There should have been at least two yellow cards. If he had done that the game might have been a bit easier to watch and ref.
he gave out 3, there should have been 6 as well as a lot more warnings (I don't remember more than 1 warning)
Drunk officiating
Offsides was a makeup call because 21 was definitely off on the 3rd goal.
In short. The ref squad was garbage.
The black teams coach has seen some “incredible” things this game 😂 he kept using the phrase over and over again
Could I know from @IST why this was the worst call ever? That was actually a Great Offside Call by the Linesmen.
Pause it at 28:37. The Attacking Player is on the Goal Line/Out of Bounds when the ball was played. The Second Last Man #4 is 3 Yards Off the Goal Line, I do not understand why this channel hates on officials so much.
Pause it at 29:17. Attacking Player is on the Goal Line, 2nd Last player is Halfway between the Goal line and 6 Yard Box. Does everyone need a reminder that the Offside is the 2ND LAST MAN, NOT LAST MAN.
Watch the entire video. Terrible offside call is at 19:45
@@tcdinho12 LOL that was fucking horrible. You had one stellar call on one end and an absolute horrendous call on the other side
@@Crupi-kf4ss ya i meant the one at 20 min. We dont hate refs but it helps get clicks.. people love to discuss missed calls. The more comments the more youtube pushes out the content (ive heard..) 😀
what are you talking about? Did you even watch the video? Offside call is at 19:45
58 or 68 in green never passed the ball all game
I thought it was click bait, but no, that actually IS the worst offsides call in the history of the sport.
you cant be offsides before the half field mark????? wtf
such a shame. black is a much better team. green gets away with so much cheap shit and drama. in my day, play like that would get you bounties, and you better be ready for your best players to get blown up. officiating was pretty terrible. black got really screwed over.
Black we’re playing dirty tf ? Diving like little girls all over the shop
Yeah...that's not accurate at all. Complete neutral here and the game definitely had it's ebbs and flows of which team were in better form. Officiating was not experienced enough to be doing that level of game, but it ending in a tie is a pretty fair outcome for both teams. It was a good game of equal skill & play when looking at the totality of the game.
do the refs watch the match replay and see how bad their decision making is?
Referees should not influence a game to this degree smh
Appalling from green team and fans, they don’t k ow the rules and just chatting lucky to get a point out of this
Wow...a worse offside call I have not seen. The AR was already ahead of the play. If he wasn't, he got from halfway to where he flagged in less that 2 seconds. I don't know of anyone that can run that fast.
Can't be offsides on your own half.
more than one?
but they were right in line with the third last defender
Mississauga needs a new goalkeeper
Neither keepers were up to par tbh
Holy cow how bad are these refs. Like they get paid... there has to be a standard, just shocking.
So many bad calls… my eyes
That’s was a goal
How is that offiside there’s a guy in the net 🤣
Yea get 48 on green off the field😂😂
Bro scored and then celebrated while his team was losing😂 Canadians lack such common knowledge with football.
North Toronto was dirty as shit. Cards should have been given early and it lead to poor behavior when it wasn't.
how is the keeper allowed to wear that colour?
whats wrong with it?
how can it be offside there is a dude literally in his own net.
Remember, offside is if the attacking player is not even with the ball AND behind the last defender (which the goal keeper became when the CB ran into the goal to become the goal keeper). The player who headed the ball was NOT in line with the ball when played and behind the goal keeper meaning they were offside. Fantastic call by the AR1 on the coaching sideline.
these refs get paid by the way
Toronto goalie is pretty bad. Lucky his team managed to find 3 goals to avoid a loss.
refs were joke
cringe celebrations and god awful refs
that was offside
The one at 28:37 was offside but the one at 20:00 wasn’t
Yea agreed.
The ball was passed the line already before he headed it in
@@andrewjames3641 wdym
Every video is the same story, so many dives and complaining on ref.
Feel bad for the refs that need to hear same shit every game.
These are kids and drives more then the pros, is this what we want the games to look like?
Both keepers really sucked.
The offside given wasn't a mistake, it's called "home refereeing"!!
In this case, it was so obvious and shameless...
20:00 wasn’t offside, 25:00 should have been a red card for not only the players celebration but for the green team in a whole for their fans coming on the field and the offside called at 28:35 was most definitely offsides
red card? you on drugs?
A red card? 😆🤣😆🤣
@@jnava1994 nope but when a player takes his jersey off mid game then yes it’s deserving of a red and when their fans storm the field when the game isn’t even over then yes it’s a red 🤷🏼♂️
@@WrinklyTraveller yes a red card. A player took his jersey off to celebrate which is against the rules and their fans stormed on the field when the game wasn’t even over so he’s a red card
@@hayleerue by the laws, taking off the shirt is a yellow card. And the red for the fans? Is the ref going to send off the fans? Or the player? Or the coach? Explain where is that rule written please 😂

Typical shit refereeing but good quality from the kids on both teams. Probably one of the best games i've seen on this channel from this age
