An environmental impact assessment should never have even been commissioned given the climate change crisis, especially one with that has irregularities.

Shame on the government of Jamaica for trying to destroy such a beautiful and peaceful resource .. how do you right this in your conscious mind. Or are you not thinking straight. Please rethink this, this is not okay. You would be destroying life resources and benefits. Please realize what we have, and treasure it. it is prescious. If not to you, to millions of people around the world and mostly Jamaica.

Ask who has 52% shares in this venture who will profit?
The government needs to be sacked both parties since this is a long going dispute handled badly by all involved
They have have No Legal Jurisdiction in the cockpit country never mind about the rest of the isle selling it off to foreigners who not only do not have our best interest at heart but dont even like us
As a returnee I am saddened by this gouging of our pockets and resources
Anyone notice there is an area called the Alps up there?

You cant bring industry everywhere, some communities need to be protected from corporations looking to upset country folk lifestyle for profit. The people in this vid need the land and its resources more than the bauxite business.
Is the bauxite business going to offer displacement payment to the people living on the land? Are they gonna share their bauxite profits with this community?

@@paulhaye ah yes! Like what was done with the identification legalisation they wanted to implement. The Environmental Impact Assessment has irregularities. It can be nullified in court.
