Looking at those percentages in CXC the Education Ministry as failed! Only 18% passing 5 or more inc math and english is deplorable. If Fayval couldnt manage Education how she gonna manage FINANCE????
Does Ms Williams control the children's brains. If they don't study it's their fault. Hold students accountable for their performance. Parents and teachers have done their part. The ministry has done its part

Why uptown schools with more resources get better passes than the so called low ranked schools with LESS resources? Please spare me! I have seen school administrators BEGGING already burdened parents for essential resources including ACs that the government ought to provide. How kids to function in hot classrooms. Also...what teachers? When they are not being paid properly and migrating leaving the classrooms and students behind. No the government responsibility that. If the system was running properly then we could blame parents and student but the system pop dung with the exception of the well to do schools and thats NOT EQUITABLE.

But clearly its a problem much bigger than that with the system itslef...maybe we still suffering from covid fallout or something but not even 50% passing requires some sort of forensic analysis to identify root causes. This is TERRIBLE. Less than 20% of our future leaders passing 5 or more subjects is cause for great concern
