Everybody is talking about Chef Ramsay and Jon Taffer being in the same room, but something to also note is that how Sou Chef Jay has had the pleasure of working alongside both men in their respective shows.
Season 20 is so unique. All the chefs are so young (don’t think any of them were older than 24) so you can see Gordon is much more mellowed out when talking to them
Im suprised they didn’t add him talking let alone his name in this clip or episode. Idk if it’s because it’ll be advertising his show or what but it was cool to see him there
Cause he was trying too hard to act like he was a food efficientiado. She was fine doing what she was doing. Presearing is gonna save 12 min at least when you fire those filets.
Most charities don't really do anything. A bunch of people make six figures and some other people go to fancy dinners and parties and they give each other awards for how awesome they are. None of the money actually provides any benefit to the people they claim to help. But they're "raising awareness," so it counts as a charity. Even for charities that do do something, it's usually more about helping in the moment instead of long-term solutions and oftentimes only a small percentage of donated money goes to that help.

Never did I imagine see John Taffer and Gordon Ramsay in the same room. If this was a bar rescue or kitchen nightmares, all sorts of censoring would be needed for the episode 🤣
As much as I enjoy Hell's Kitchen and cooking shows in general, I do question why "fine dining" restaurants cost so much. While some ingredients definitely cost more than others to regularly use, I have my doubts that any meal needs to cost $100+ just because of the experience or how the food is presented.
What I never understand is these are trained cooks, I think. Why are they struggling so much? I'm not a chef but I have made spaghetti for 10+ people and it isn't that difficult.
Someone once said that production has remote control over the stoves and ovens. Explains why sometimes the heat in the kitchen is way too high or low. All for extra drama and adversity.
The only thing difficult with this episode was Brad Garrett. And it wasn't even Brad Garrett's fault, it was the editing and chopping of the moments for 'lulz'.
That seems to be the M.O. for most "fine dining" restaurants. The price seems to be more for the vibes and the dish looking like an art project than anything else.
