We love visiting Holmes County, Ohio.
The rolling hills, the perfectly manicured yards & Amish farms, the clip clop of the horse hooves ... all this is a part of not only the beauty, but the peaceful serenity that we soak up when we are there.
Add in the shopping & antiquing ... & my goodness, the delicious food at various restaurants, what's NOT to love?!
This time around, I just didn't feel like filming constantly but I did want to get some footage of a place that we love so much.
I documented mainly for our own memories but I wanted to go ahead and share them here with you too!

Oh how I Love watching the Amish. Are they allowed to use electricity to run their business. The food looks So Delicious!
We have been in many that have no electricity. They have the little gas type lights. They are so interesting.

Do you live in Ohio? I live in Medina County Ohio & we LOVE going to Amish Country too. The area is so beautiful! My heart is always the happiest when I’m there. It makes me feel like I’m home in WV where I was born & raised. ❤️

No ... Ohio neighbors =) we live in Indiana. We try to visit there if not every year, every other. We have lots of wonderful Amish communities here in IN too. Love going to Shipshewana & all the surrounding areas. Just something so peaceful.

Holmes Co home was home to me , Amish bread , goat cheese , and the resturants that piled food on your plate and the best pies for dessert....lol do i sound like i miss , yes and im jealous you went ...Congrats on wedding anniversary

The horse was in the barn at the Amish store we were at ... they have animals that you can go through and see.
