  • My thoughts on the Visconti Mythos Mirage fountain pens. I have the Apollo in Fine and the Poseidon in Medium. Both use #6 Schmidt steel nibs, come with converters and are perfect writers. I have no real cons to mention for these pens. They retail for $159 USD.

Hi, David. It is a perfect pen. The Apollo in F is my favorite Visconti to write with. Thank you for watching and sharing!

This pen has been on my hit list for a minute and when Poseidon released I knew I had to do it 😂 thanks for your review!

Hi, Anita. So many nice pens these days. The Mirage Mythos are excellent!

These are very nice pens. I may have to get one. I liked the turquoise one (Athena) but I think I like the darker ones better and that Poseidon with matte finish is pretty sweet.

Hi, Peggy. They are very nice. I like the feel of the matte finish on the Poseidon. It also looks nice with the dark trim.

Good review, Terry. I'm sure your channel will grow.
By the way, my inks came today. They were lighter reds than I expected so I did a little mixing with Ox blood. Came out with a very serviceable dark red. Little darker than Writer' Blood.

Hi, Jan. Thank you for the encouragement. Mixing inks is something I keep saying I’m going to try. I have a few washed out inks that need some darkening.

Does this fine nib write wetter/broader than other fine nibs?

Hi, PenMan. It’s fairly wet but not broad. It feels like a traditional western fine. Just perfect. If you like fines, you’ll love it.

Great video! Have you always been ambidextrous?

Hi. I’m a natural righty but taught myself to write with my left as soon as I leaned to write.

I can't understand what she's saying. What ink was she saying she wishes she could put in every pen?

J.,Herbin Emeraude de Chivor is my favorite ink that I wish I could use in every pen. It’s a shimmering and sheening blue-green ink.
