I love fried calamari too Felix! Always a go-to order. Aperol Spritz’ are so refreshing! [Aperol is a bitter orange Italian liqueur…so beautiful in color]!🔥 That Insalata Di Cesare is perfect with the anchovies…hope to come back!🤙🏻
Aperol is the brand of Italian bitter that is usually reddish orange. Spritz is mixing it with club soda and Prosecco wine.
My wife and I learned this from going to Italy last year. If you can, try a Hugo Spritz. It's more simple... mint, elderflower liquor or flavoring, and then the prosecco wine and club soda, but I actually like that one better. It's really refreshing!

Thanks for the fun video. I'm grateful you guys ordered so much food for us to check out. Omg, pricey tho. I thought Angelo Pietro was a pretty solid Japanese-Italian place in Kaimuki, and the pricing was good too. I just checked and it seems they are closed now.
My Foodie Ohana are back for date night! Italian is a great way to go. You both look great. Everything looks so ono. You guys know how to order and quite a bit of it. I went to the Kahala Arancino's (because of your video, and I mentioned your names when they asked how I'd heard of them), and enjoyed it immensely. The calamari frites was the best I'd had anywhere, and the bread (not something I usually eat) was to die for. I was wondering about their pizzas, and will try that next after your recommendation. Thanks for trying all these new things too -- we're so lucky you guys "take one for the team" so you can report back to your Foodie Ohana! 😆

I love Arancino and this kind of Italian food! Except, like you, the prosciutti and papaya didnʻt look very appetizing to me. It was nice to share this Date Night with you two, though that was much more food than I could ever eat for one meal!

During my business trips I would stay at the Outrigger Reef and walk up to Arancino for lunch. Great food but you better have reservations for dinner. Love the vlog.

I get that its ok to spend more on date night but my brain rebels at the thought of spending a lot on pasta. Blame Chef Boyardee, LOL. I usually go to La Pizza Rina right by Jugem when I need a pasta fix. Hope you guys get a chance to go there and try it out.

You make it or buy it. Where I live there places that serve Hawaiian food from loco moco which is easy to make, and laulau or kalua pork. You can make lomi salmon, chicken long rice, but have buy the poi.

Never been to that location. Just the Kahala and Waikiki Marriott location. The Marriott one is pretty good too but don't know how different it is from the Beachwalk location.
The beach walk location has a little more casual vibe 👍

Aloha, Amanda & Felix...Love Arancino on Beachwalk. One of my favorite places to go too as well. The house focaccia bread combined with the Rigatoni that Amanda ordered looked so ono, Winna! Did Felix say Calamari? YESSSAH! Off the beaten path...I recently had the Calamari at DUKES WAIKIKI. BOMB! I don't know which establishment I like better for the Calamari appetizer. So very different but so good. I always wondered about the taste of the owner's favorite pizza choice; I think Felix summed it up LOL! Thanks for revisiting this Italian restaurant.
I like the vibe of this Arancino the best - more homey.

Food prices are ridiculous. And the portions are so small you gotta spend a lot to get full. A lot of people cant afford this in Hawaii sadly.
Wow so expensive for what you get. Only would go if get 25%+ kamaaina discount, otherwise get similar places for much reasonable prices.
Since papaya has the enzyme, papain, that breaks down proteins so I can see how it brought out the metallic taste of iron
Papain is good for face masks too. You should have eaten the prosciutto then mashed up the papaya and had an in-restaurant facial.

You guys gotta try Delish at the Beach at the park in Ewa Beach's Iroquois Point. Go way on Friday or Saturday with great live music and incredible

Yea mostly pasta and sauce....box pasta $1.50, jar spaghetti sauce $3 pkg, sauage $4.50, grated cheese $3.50 add mushrooms and onions to the sauce $2. You make at least 3-4 servings for a cost of $14.50. You pay for the ambience. Made this dish last week at home served it with garlic bread and ceasar salad.
