This video is amazing. Simple tutorial, not at all intimidating, and watching it helped me think of so many cool applications for my content. Thank you so much!
What a fun tutorial! Speaking as someone who's just learning Resolve, this is still way beyond my skill level, but I'm very excited to know that things like this are in my future. First time tonight that I found your channel. Just subscribed so I don't miss anything in the future. Thank you for sharing this!
May I make a tutorial suggestion for Davinci? MrWhoseTheBoss has these texts animations that flip down and have a slight bounce (kind of like the text is squishy) Could you replicate that?
This seems very helpful. I hope it helps me in making videos for RUclips. You will definitely get more viewership and subscribers. Lots of love to you bro❤.
Great video: I would love to see an in-depth video about how to make transitions like in GTA V when you switch between characters. Great channel though!
please show the final render as well ur tutorial is great can u make a series for beginners on how to get started in fusion cause i find it really complicated
Hey, thank you very much. I learn a lot from your channel. Can you please let me know if there is any way to create the water waving effect, especially when the boat travels across the sea, we have it "react" to the water and create waves...?
Hello dude. Thanks for the content. As usual, the awesome tutorial 😍. BTW, could you make a video to explain best hardware requirement or Laptop for DaVinci Resolve in the budget?
Hi, how do you get the screen view setting to look like yours [map shows up on the left and the nodes on the right]? My nodes appear at the bottom of the page... also I get blank space unless I connect to MediaOut. Sorry, still new to DaVinci 18. Thanks,
So I have a question, for example whenever I want to edit an image, some of the effect exceed my boundaries (sharp edges or just actual image size) I can fix that by making a compound clip, but if I start editing that compound clip in 3D, the effects still exceed my boundaries, how can I fix that?
You shouldn't need to create a compound clip, if you just resize the item in the inspector so it doesn't go off the edges then you should be set. Could you give an example of what you're after?
@@JasonandaCamera Well, for example, I would love to make some animations with my image, whenever it exceeds my boundaries ( or the image size ) any effect I put on it, it simply touches the edges, to resolve the problem I mostly make it as a compound clip to make it as big as the timeline resolution is, which allows me to add various effects like soft glow etc. But if I want to do the same strategy in 3D editing, it simply doesn't resolve the problem, I can still see the boundaries
@@boyfromtexasschool8963 hmm. I’m not 100% sure I understand what you’re doing but I think I have an idea. I’ve encountered similar issues when I wasn’t as familiar with fusion. In fusion, when you drag your image into the node area, don’t start adding effects to it right away. First, pipe it into a background node. The background node should be automatically sized to your timeline settings. Make sure the image is a foreground input. Use ctrl/cmd + T to switch inputs if you need to. So for example. If you have a 500x500 image, merge that over a background (either transparent or color). Then add a transform node after the image (but before the merge) and adjust the size setting so the image fits the frame. From here, you should be set and the image should have plenty of space for effects (such as glow) to work without them being chopped off by the edge of the frame. If I’m understanding your issue. Let me know if I misunderstood because I’m quite curious!
@@JasonandaCamera Depends honestly, whenever I want to edit that image even the transform doesn't help me, but I will try the suggested stuff, I will respond once I try it.

Man this is so awesome. What advice you have for a beginner to learn to use Davinci resolve for stuff like this and more? Is there a study online?

Noted!
please show the final render as well ur tutorial is great can u make a series for beginners on how to get started in fusion cause i find it really complicated
I also find it complicated. My advice would be to start small. Create basic shapes, learn more about keyframes, start creating text animations.
Thanks for this, my issue was that the shadow just cut through my original image and I couldn't see to move it under.
Thx. This is great. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😍😍😍😍
Glad you like it!
I tried this and it works great but my image is a lower resolution than the original image I used.
How can I fix this?
amazing video, thank you very much for the tutorial and please post more

Absolute Wizzard.
Thanks king 👑
Amazinggggggggggggggggggg
Just was thinking of asking map animation
Cool. Thanks for stopping by.
How do you do that cool blur effect at the beginning example?
Oh that is the accumulation effect (depth of field blur). You can toggle it on under Renderer3D node. Then change the focal plane under Camera3D node.
how did you rearrange your windows?
Hello dude. Thanks for the content. As usual, the awesome tutorial 😍. BTW, could you make a video to explain best hardware requirement or Laptop for DaVinci Resolve in the budget?

WHY WE USE THE CROP TOOL, it is possible to use transform node instead of crop node?
You can. There are multiple ways to resize.
this looks beautiful. My Hitfilm says hi and is feeling neglected ;)
Thanks. I'm glad you like it. I'm planning to do Hitfilm tutorials in the future. Stay tuned.

isn't it possible to create a real shadow in 3d Space by adding some Lights into the Scene ?
It is possible. But I find this setup to be easy.
