Forest the wolf is absolutely my favorite of the ones you’ve made. My favorite color is seafoam green, and the wolf is one of my favorite species, so this is all sorts of perfection.
koalaette would be better named honeycomb, her inner ears being yellow could be a callback, or better yet name her manuka based on manuka honey which is from australia (and NZ) :) i also wish she had the mouth lines like on her ai art so we could have another elderly villager 🥲
I think it’s a shame Forest wasn’t a Husky villager. Don’t get me wrong he’s very cute as is i just wish the dog villagers had things like pointy ears and fluffier coats for some diversity in looks. Also the A.I imagine to me really resemble a dog more then a wolf. Either way I’m glad this series got a continuation and I can’t wait for the next one
I think the pointed and upright ear dogs are represented but as “wolf” villagers in AC. Vivian looks like a German shepherd, Kyle is a painted dog, Audi is a fox. That said the majority are wolves and I think dog breeds can add more diversity to the wolves. :)
Aside from the name, Koalaette would actually be a dreamy. She's cute, but not in a way where you have seen this type of cute too often. (Sort of like Coco maybe?)
I think Lilac turned out great actually! If you'd just made her eyes a little lower i think she'd have matched perfectly!! honestly my fav of the bunch

You forgot the wolf’s dimples!! The AI design had such cute and relatively symmetrical dimples and you totally forgot them! (also, I know it’s a nit-pick, but there’s also a white stripe right above his nose that you either missed or decided not to include that I think would’ve looked good in the final design!)

Since the ai said she likes fashion I can see her being into weird avant-garde clothing and makeup (which is why she looks like that) and being a little bit pretentious about it but generally really knowledgeable and talented. Her house would probably be super weird inside and have a nice space for sewing.

I do love this series and find it really fun and interesting but as an artist I hope people know AIs like this steal real people's art and mix it together to create the ai art and it's extremely immoral, it's art theft that completely removes any way to credit the original artists while also being used without their consent. Obviously this video is a light hearted fun time, but I just wanted to let anyone who doesn't know, know, because as times go on we can't continue to engage with these programs and further it's scope

I feel like the first one would have worked out better as a tiger villager. The tigers have more squished faces, meanwhile the wolves have long snouts and long ears and are more stretched. I just think the squished face would have been much cuter
Of these I actually really like Lilac. I'm not normally big on clowns but I love her design. (The fact that she's a big sister villager helps too lol.)

Not only that, but I do not get old man vibes at all. Still a nice turn out, the colours and gradient came out really nice! I wish animal crossing had a softer dog model though, I’d fill my island with nothing but soft dog villagers in a heart beat

You should try Wombo Dream AI next time if you do this again! It's really good at defining features in some of its styles whereas Craiyon tends to be more abstract I tried it out myself after this video because I wanted to see what it would make and was pleasantly surprised with a lot of really good results that I'm actually going to be making my own designs for. I'd recommend using the Comic art style if you do 👍

You should try novel AI, it's focused on anime and furry stuff but does really well will cartoon styles. I just types in a few prompts for animal crossing villagers and it turned out pretty well! Good enough to get a model out of at least

the trouble with dall-e 2 is its avoidance of any copyrighted material whatsoever. I can understand why they would do that, but it means you can really only generate things that exist irl or in classical art
i saw a LOT of snarky personality in lilac's AI generated design and im a little upset that it didn't show up in the final, i feel like if you developed their personalities a little more and kept them in mind as you made their visual design the villagers could be a lot more appealing
The elephant was so cute tho! You should have kept them but remove some things (like the line on the forehead) and change colors a bit + Your details seems a bit too sharp sometimes (like on the cheeks of the first character)
