Thank you. The wide seat setting adjustment helped.

You have a rain hood, and you mention that it comes with the carrier. But I cant see such a thing mentioned in the details of the carrier when I look online to purchase one. I am confused by this, I would love a hood.

Definitely upgrading to all seasons the original is way too hot during this time, and Massachusetts is too cold for airflow although it does get hot wearing baby.

I borrowed my friend's lillebaby carrier a little while ago - and the two cons you mentioned definitely stood out to me - the thickness of the straps and the waist not being tight enough. I'm not skinny, but I'm short, so I had trouble with these things. I never tried it without the lumbar support though... If you take it out, is there still sufficient back support?! If so, I could deal with the straps, because I love all the other features of this carrier!!!

While Julie hasn't personally tried it without the lumbar support, we did hear from other Babylist parents that this carrier may be more comfortable for taller parents for the exact reasons you mentioned: www.babylist.com/hello-baby/best-carriers-for-toddlers
Have you seen the BabyBjorn Miracle? That one has a "second spine" you might like! ruclips.net/video/cSitGblJGCY/видео.html

When wearing it for a front carry, there is a clip that is impossible to close without someone else's help right above the shoulder blades, below the neck. Is there a trick around this?

Do you use the narrow position for a 5 week old?

It depends on which position (face-in, face-out or fetal position). See the full details here: www.lillebaby.com/carryingpositions/

I hate the Lillebaby. This product seriously makes me want to scream. Extreme back and shoulder pain. In my opinion this is not meant for big people or anyone with a big rumpus. It sags and becomes harder to adjust. Money wasted on trying to be comfortable.

Been is your shoes 😥 I'm a fellow biggan and it is hard at first but it's doable! Place waist band higher on belly then tighten shoulders. It's a little uncomfortable because it's so snug but no pain. FYI you won't be able to nurse!!!
