Loot being all for nothing or the bonus is still an issue. But it's a step in the right direction
With cook-off specially is a big issue. Also with rock the cradle loud since in loud you can't get all bags
yeah, it was much better in PD2 where XP was calculated per bag so you still got as much XP as possible for getting as much as you could
I think the bonus for getting all bags is a good idea and a good incentive for players to push for all loot, but they need to still give XP based on any amount of bags secured with the all bags bonus added on top of that
@@Ananonymousguy-nk9ojyou can and it's actually a way to get more money
You just need to get the drive before going loud
@@dontwannabeahero1570I know but once you get the cryptowallet you've pretty much ended the heist so i'm not considering that as being loud
@@Ananonymousguy-nk9oj And Under the Surphaze since you cannot get the Latrell painting with 1 or 2 players.
Holy shit they were right about the "two more days" on twitter
Played a single heist, Armor does not feel better. Simply regenerating 2 chunks may have been broken as a skill but it reduced the consumption of armor bags.
Plus, armor does not drop and isn't available like first aid kits in a heist, so it makes the resource valuable more by default.
Yeah, it made solo loud even harder, because it doesn’t matter if the AI is alive if the player can’t get any fucking armour to stay alive with them
So, in essence, all they did was make it even more vital that EVERYONE bring armour bags and nothing else.
Nice.
Dumbest design ever
This armor + health system is a definition of overcomplexation. They had perfect fun system in Payday 1 and 2, they HAD to ruin it with this boring addition.
@@ilyakusenco8151I know it's a month later but I thought I'd reply because this is true, but I feel like I disagree slightly. Initially afaik the game had the armor regen like in previous games but that was changed closer to release.
Payday 3's biggest flaw is that Armor is a resource limited by the armor bags brought and appropriate skills for them. I think if Payday 3 were to make the current armor system work, it needs to be that enemies have a chance to drop armor plates (maybe higher on later enemies). Plates could maybe have an animation that requires you to stay still, and like First aid kits you need to interact with them to pick them up. Obviously you can help drop rates, interaction speed with plates or a boost afterwards with skills in the tree, meaning you would only need the skills without the deployable being needed.
I'm not a game designer by any means, for all I know the idea in practice could be flawed, however, solutions are better than what the current state of the game has.
Could you imagine if they'd allow bots to carry two bags if you put points in a skill in the new tree
I thought about it but it would be too OP i think, being able to carry 8 bags at a time would trivialize everything
Probably some sort of bot skills? Like the ones in Payday 2 where you could give them inspire
@@Ananonymousguy-nk9oj it's not like the bots are exactly useful, it'd really help the higher difficulties for solo players
@@Ananonymousguy-nk9oj
Crime Boss Rockay City has it and it doesn't feel OP
@@ninochaosdrache3189Yeah but in Crime Boss you're encouraged not to always heist with 3 other people/AI unlike in payday
Its really crazy how starbreeze literally spent a decade fine tuning payday 2 into a great game just to ignore all the lessons learned and fart out pd3
I feel like much of the original team is long gone and that’s more of the real issue
@@meat.nobody passed any knowledge down?
@@bobertastic6541I can see companies losing employees and not bothering to make sure their knowledge is kept for new employees.
@meat. Thats no real excuse, they should have looked back at pd2 and try to understand what made it good in the first place
That’s kinda big games now in my opinion big studios rush games from a big series just to have game disliked and refunded into ablivion while indie games cash out
It's a bit weird to call bringing locke back a "fanservice" thing since he was only "gone" for like a couple months to us lol
I think it's mainly because Locke's return for these legacy heists doesn't have any connection to the narrative, at least right now. The legacy heists don't have any story cutscenes like the core heists do and are pretty much just random jobs, so Locke basically just appeared out of nowhere
Something like Locke returning i'd normally expect to actually have an impact on the ongoing narrative and have a bit of cutscenes and dialogue to go with it if it was something that was actually planned since the beginning
Either way though I am still glad to have Locke back and hope he continues to have more involvement in future heists
@@NeonTheWolfi agree but disliking bc youre a furry
@@itsv1p3r Very normal well-adjusted response.
@@itsv1p3rbased
IMO the fact that they're adding legacy heists comes across as desperately attempting to regain favor they've lost with legacy players, who are the vast majority of their playerbase.
11:30 "a lot of people fell off of the game due to a lack of perceived progression" that's exactly why I quit. I'm a solo player, and while I love a challenge,it felt like shit to be stuck at infamy 70 lest I sit and grind weapons for hours or try and solo overkill stuff. Glad to see they changed it
This update looks great even though i haven't tested it myself yet, but i think there's one thing missing that would've made it much better: at least one new weapon. We all know that the overkill category needs some love and a 3rd weapon would've been very appreciated
They could have just added an lmg as an overkill and I'd be happy honestly
@@panthersfreak02 it's just a preset for an existing gun, it's not new. Presets are just existing guns with existing attachments but have a unique cosmetic skin
something like a minigun would make for a good Overkill weapon choice, seems like it would be an obvious pick for when they add new ones
@@NeonTheWolf Ahhhhh OK. I got you
@@NeonTheWolfAlso a semi or fully automatic drum mag shotgun like the ones the dozers have seems like a good choice, after all they already got the model and 3rd person animations
I think the usage of Armor Up was because of necessity more than anything as the only real other armor regeneration is Plate Up. We need a way to regain armor basekit other than just take cover to get some back as that would ease the flow of the game and help deckbuilding.
There are ways to access health and ammo in heist but no access to armor which makes it a rare resource. As long as armor is hard to access and regen , people will pick armor regeneration in some capacity to again get it nerfed because everyone is running it.
We should definitely get IP per bag, it's hard to find every bag & bags used to disappear into the floor on rock the cradle
simply put, "all backs needed" for IP is bad, cook off gives 19 bags, so 18 of them means nothing lmao thats dumb.
4:45 I also like that they added additional lab locations. Cook off was fun but pretty repetitive only ever being in the 2nd floor. I think occasionally being on the 1st floor and basement makes for a nice change of pace.
Even in PD2 the lab could be on the first floor if you weren’t doing Rats. Basement is nice though.
@@WildCharger really? I only ever got the 2nd floor, granted I never played it much.
@MTaylor-fy5sc i can confirm it can be on base floor and the most frequent cook off MODS were to
Add basement
Players thought basement was a death trap
Add roof
Players lahghed then heard sniper fire
And my favorite
The outdoors facing captain winters
The players are downed
Id love to see those mods
You could get the kitchen on the first floor
4:01 "The designers saved us from ourselves on this one" I appreciate the optimism, but player choice to go endless will always trump this silly imposed hard cap.
Record hunters, people who just want to pop heads for an hour or people who just want to see for how long they can go, will all sorely miss old Cook off
No one benefits from them imposing a hard cap on how long you can do Cook off and I'm tired of pretending it benefits anyone
It just doesn't, they see that it is not to avoid the economy getting wrecked but that doesn't make any sense
@@Ananonymousguy-nk9oj I don't get the economy thing honestly. It feels like a weird way to stop quick leveling because if you could more people would see there isn't much to buy or do in the game. At least at this point.
@@Ananonymousguy-nk9ojthere literally isnt a econemy right now
Won't have to quit out when the random who ain't helping wants to shoot and ignore the objective all day.
If they did endless there would be the same issue as payday 2 where host is spending like 3 hours doing this heist and refusing to end, so you have to leave and gain nothing for all those hours you wasted there
It feels they completely missed the point on WHY people considered "Armor Up" a mandatory skill: The lack of gaining armor as a whole otherwise. Their goal was to not make it mandatory - but as it works now, I would say it's now even more so than before, given we get LESS armor out of it, and (as pointed out) making armor bags even more mandatory to bring in the first place.
Having the exact opposite effect.
If anything, armor up as it is now is how refilling armor should be as the default, and the skill should give (situationally depending) a second chunk overall (e.g. when you got no armor at all), or a small percentage from something else (again, trading hostages is a viable source)
The cookoff in Payday 2 was so easy because if you wore night vision goggles helmet you no longer had to worry about electricity
The armor nerf was probably a bad idea, because now everyone will stick with their armor bags. Imo the best thing would be to reduce the amount of armor plates in it but make that you regen a bag after idk what time so that every squad can have like one armourer. Or another option would be extra plates in the overkill weapon box
I'm still disappointed that the awful challenge interface is largely the same. Still pages and pages without any organization and the only real change to the interface is recommending a few at a time.
And, at least for me, it's also recommending me a challenge I should have already completed according to the progress bar, which makes the issue worse.
The launch really burned me on payday 3. While the gameplay is better then 2 I find everything else lacking. 3 lacks the skill builds, fun guns, fun levels, charismatic characters, interesting story, bots with a brain, any lmgs, no akimbo and boring ass loot. So for me they have a long way to go before I am willing to give this game a try again.
Great! The game is now in beta 0.9. Now they just have to remove the power point cutscenes, the ai art contractors, fix the lobbies, add pre-planning, redesign progression from the ground up, rebalance skills and deployable and make a bunch of qol ui changes and it's ready for launch! 👊😎
The way things are going, I doubt half of this will come to fruition. They seem to be sticking with the challenge system as the main progression. The art will probably look like ai. And balance already seems to be something it'll take them forever to get right.
Lets not forget
They need to
Update gunplay so weapons now use realistic recoil and not generic bloom (i mean planetside 2 does this best but at least do it like payday 2 does lol)
Remove online only (critically important if players are gonna see thie game as surviving when starbreeze likes abandoning sinking ships)
Single player can't even be paused. This shit's still pre-alpha.
It'd be nice if they included any real use for "Tab" tab. I dunno, maybe something like tracking heist progression, number and worth of secured loot or challengess progress...
Idk, I think that would be nice since no other game has done it.🙄
I'm pretty sure one of the devs said on Twitter the reason they don't give you XP per bag is because they want you to be greedy and try to "take it all", which does sound fair enough for a game like PAYDAY. Maybe the way to go would be do both, having you get a IP per bag and then a FAT bonus for getting every single bag - complete with an exciting flashing GUI element at the end screen. 🤔
taking away player choice = L
I won't really play the game until they add an offline mode, I just hate having to wait in order to play alone. But hearing everything about the armor and health, I think that we should have more health, and it regenerates, but every time you lose health, the max health is diminished, and the only way to get to max health would be medic bags. It would make losing armor a more manageable problem and people would be able to use different equipment.
I'm only gonna come back when an offline mode happens, an actual decent amount of content is in the game, and some other things are fixed.
Play private matches and it's basically offline. I do miss the cash room and basement bigtime.
@@PCU_BLACKOUTbut it isn’t, you still need to find a match and it’s online
hold on i think you just reccomended usinf the exact same mechanic armour has for health
@@molassesman4066 well, yes. Because I really can't think of another way to make health actually useful. If you lose your armor you're as good as dead anyways.
I’m just glad they added new voice lines. Dallas suggesting that the pager operator gets replaced by a mannequin is my fav
It feels so strange seeing the word "Payday" alongside only single-digit update numbers.
Today I tried out the cook off heist, but after cooking the second bag I got downed by a cloacker, and my AI mates were stuck in place and didn't do anything. Great Update so far, but there is still lots of stuff to add
Bro, i have spent 30 minutes cooking, only to fail due to van not returning.
Instead of "adding" they should be "FIXING".
@komandos5128 Exactly, and you're not the only one. This happened to other people as well
Ah so the heist isnr even finished
I reslly want hope but i can just add what 3 does better as a mod into 2
@komandos5128 Yep, this happened to me and my team as well.
As a solo-stealth heister, I am mourning the patched camera guard glitch. I expected this to come, but held out hope it would be left in given the handicap with less pagers on overkill, but oh well. It was fun while it lasted.
Same, the camera guard glitch (and even to an extent the lead guard glitch) was a life saver with only 2 pager uses.
@@ProwardGameplaythis sounds like a skill issue

Good news from the future!
"payday 3 biggest update so far" literally the one and only update since release (the small bug fix doesn't count imo)
"tremendously content rich" literally 2 old heist
that is such ultra shill behavior 😂
we waited 10 years, 2 more months would have been nothing, this probably should have come with release payday 3
Im so sad they removed the sus bag disable. Really helped with my maskless runs
Especially since it's not a PVP game. It is better to ignore glitches like that and focus on more important things
This is the bare minimum lmao, we shouldn’t be praising them for something so simple.
on gupta💯
Literally, and most payday youtubers act like this is the most amazing thing since sliced bread
Losing over 75K players online, I can’t see many people coming back. The happiest I had been with PD3, was when I returned my hard copy back to GameStop.
too bad i exceeded my play time. now i cant refund the damn thing
Sweet came back from school and a new video up and running gives me a smile
I'm a big fan of the power disabling cooking on Cook off. I like that there are unique cops with specific missions. It makes it less tedious to maintain the power than payday 2, but simultaneously more important and something you actually have to care for.
I read a review that kinda summed it up for me.. Where Payday 3 made me care so little about Payday, that I don't even care about Payday 2 anymore.
That’s kinda sad tho, pd2 is such a great game, it’s replayable and super fun, but pd3 seems to be making part of the community leave entirely
the amount of ppl blowing up the cook site is unbelievable 😂
they even made it extremely easy this time. She corrects herself so quickly
I think the word massive for the update is a huge reach on this one
Dunno why, but for some reason I want a Half-Life/Black Mesa crossover Hiest where you gotta get into Black Mesa and steal the big Xen crystal that would've kicked off the events of HL and HL2 (as well as other Xen/Alien based loot). And the cops/Specials are reskinned to look/act like the HECU
That 18:42 transition was honestly on par with the trailer transition, beautifully done mate.
honestly.. even this isn't enough to really get me back into it I don't plan on reinstalling payday 3 anytime soon, and this update definitely solidifies that.. they couldn't even be fucked to make a new heist, they just regurgitate shit
The game flopped and underperformed, Overkill's in desperation mode that their live-service game isn't taking off. This just a quick band-aid fix, quickly rehash some heists from the 2nd game, to give the what little community the game has from dying. It's easy to blame Overkill, but I suspect it was Starbreeze's idea to implement all the stupid features ruining the game. Like the always online bullshit.
Cook off doesn’t pay out nearly as much as pd2. I just did maybe 5-6 bags on very hard and only got 500k.. the new armor perk nerf does not encourage an endurance mission like this either. It felt more frustrating than it used to be, for less payout. Murkey on the other hand, pretty fun with the new mechanics and perks.
This is definitely a step in the right direction for sure. Maybe enough to warrant my return to the game. Would definitely like to see the ip per bag implemented tho as someone who strongly disagreed with the progression system
Just thought of a really sadistic achievement they could add based on that cook off reward split. "pain. : finish cook off with exactly 18 bags secured or fail the heidt after securing 19 bags"
Omg yes
But.. why? I've escaped with 52 bags before.
@@PlaguedNixthe heist in payday 3 only gives you the ability to get 19 bags, no more, also it has scaled difficulty over time so it will be twice as hard to get the bags
@@sebastianherrera6514 Bruhhh that's so lame.. Money already means nothing in payday 3 so why limit our fun on every single turn
@@PlaguedNix because endless heist are not coded into the game apparently, either that or they want you to play something that is not cook off for 5 hours.
I just think the scailing difficulty is pretty cool, apparently is pretty hard on overkill
Tried to do a new heist. Game closed itself as soon as matchmaking was done
Make sure to uninstall mods
@@Jocken75 don't have any, never had pd3 modds
Ok also Dx12 is causing crashes so maybe that is the problem?
They've not fixed the reload for the compact 7 (MP7), it's doing the compact 5's (MP5's) reload including the HK slap yet the Compact 7 (MP7) does not have the bolt design to allow for the slap, it bugs me beyond belief especially for the top dog SMG in the game.
Thanks for the video!
By and large I like the changes. I liked Murky Station although Shadow Raid was always my favorite. However I think the skill nerfs are a bad idea. The game has already torched enough community goodwill with its troubled launch, and now they're using the Stick to try and change the meta rather than the Carrot. If they want to make it an actual decision between doctor bag or armor bag, buff the doctor bag and its associated skills.
They nerfed a low feedback skill and gave you the ability run replenish + plate up. That is huge and way more fun than "hurr dur run armor up to live longer".
I don't mind the idea of there being perks that are "meta," especially in a setup like what PD3 uses, where skills and decks have been collapsed together into a simplified pick-your-perk system. However, while I don't mind the idea of Transporter containing things that are meta, it does really bother me that gaining ANY access to it requires you to take on the burden of losing your Grit/Rush whenever you throw a bag. I feel like the line doesn't need to be nerfed, but it should be reshuffled a bit.
Payday 3 didn't hit the mark for me, but I'm not gonna abandon it, Payday 2 had problems on launch too, and it definitely took a while for it to be as good as it is now. I say this way too much, but god damn, Payday 2 was being worked on for 10 years! That's a lot of time! And for me, it became the height of popularity in the later parts of those ten years. But again, that's me, with no prior research before this comment, only experience. Still, I'll be playing both Payday 2 and Payday 3 and hoping that Payday 3 gets even better than it is... (broken record but I hope they do sort an offline mode, given my internet is horrible)
As someone who returned the game after the dreadful launch after enjoying the beta these additions do seem nice.. but just not enough to bring me back. I do really hope the game gets better but there are simply better options right now. Thank you for the news none the less.
a step in the right direction, now just add 3 or 4 more content updates and bring the game to an actual release state and ill consider un-refunding :D
Im surprised disengage didn’t get buff. A perk you can use once her heist is still too weak for me
Specially when cloakers and tazers can now use their special attacks against lone players
It's basically decent for challenge running and that's about it imo. It is very accessible though.
@@TheKknowley but it’s still competing with the likes of last man armor up, etc..I would be more inclined if it was a cool down like 20 seconds if you have Rush/Grit condition. Then I think more would grab it
In your older payday 2 challenge runs, you had a "phone a friend" lifeline which you never used where you could get another player, probably a friend of yours, to join you in the challenge if they had the same restrictions, what if you still do the challenge runs on overkill but the phone a friend lifeline is always part of the challenge runs due to payday 3 being more focused on coordination with team mates.
Not cracking 3K people, Payday 2 has 30K. The audience has officially said "buhbye"
The aggressive "break your fucking finger" numberpad animation cracks me up better than any pager response
lmao they're still ignoring the fact that most players still want an offline mode.
Murky is literally the second-worst Heist in PD2, only second to Breakin' Feds. Fuck that stupid pure stealth shit. It's not fun, it's just frustrating, and the RNG can fuck you.
I know they said that throwing knives only distract one guard at a time now but I've absolutely still experienced two guards at once by being distracted by a knife, that didn't bounce, so maybe it's still not actually fixed properly
I refunded the gam and I don't think I will be returning unless they allow offline play. It really should have been there on launch which would have saved themselves from the majority of their issues.
dont hype them up too much, they'll get lazy
This update isnt a game changer the game is still going to bleed players for a while.
The E.M.P loot was a huge part of murky station because it tied in with Jimmys other heist Boiling Point. I haven't played the heist yet but i'm hoping that just like that these Satellite parts being stolen are likewise tying into another heist.
Also I had an idea that would make leveling even better considering it seems they are still seemingly obsessed with making challenges the main xp draw in the game- repeatable/daily challenges.
Considering payday 2 had it implemented to the story because it was an original heist and payday 3 has it as a legacy heist with confirmed no story connection, I think they really just made up a random expensive sounding thing with no connection to future heists
it was nice of them to shut the servers down for 7 hours as soon as the update was released, I hope I'll get the chance to play it soon
They are just trying to give u the nostalgic feeling of the release week ^^
it would be really really cool if there was a skill line that messed with the overkill weapon like duration or ammo count to the point that you can keep using it, if it came with another overkill weapon it would be cool I think, maybe a minigun :>
Cant wait for new content so we can watch kmowley suffer in doing dumb challnge run
Cook-off overkill solo aka P A I N
Murky station with no skills
Just a heads up, all patreon/member content will be up in the next hour!
Brilliant transition into your sponsor.
Never played murky Station so it will be like a new heist to me
Awesome to see game is getting updated, but after release I probably won't play for around a year till I'm actually decently happy with the amount of content and a more polished progression system as I still hate the challenges.
Such a shame, but as a massive Payday 2 player who tried convincing people play for ages, Payday 3 had a few friends interest, but that interest has just fizzled from launch and for me too.
I'm excited for the changes, but honestly ... going to wait til updates are closer to triple figures before jumping back.
If you unlock a skill trees ultimate perk (what I call ultimate skill which is the last one in the tree) you can use that last perk with not having any other points in that tree
That has been a thing since day 1
As much as I love this new update, it's just too little too late for me personally. They fucked up way too hard on launch, and have consistently not learned their lessons from their previous failed games like OKTWD and Raid WWII. Always Online is Always Shit. I hope the game continues to get improvements like bag-based progression, and a proper offline, but unless this game gets major changes I'm sorry to say I won't be sticking around.
A fair perspective in all honesty. I can see where you're coming from. We'll see how things progress, but I am fed up of the patchwork approach to live-services we seem to see these days.
I love when people call bulldozers tough when they really aren't... all you need to do is grab the heavy sniper overkill weapon and he dies ONLY 2 SHOTS IN THE BACK! And yes that's on overkill as well.
The first time I did it I was like "wow the cpu must have really laid into him" but when the next dozer came up UNTOUCHED I did it again
The AI, I’ve almost never heard anyone call them cpus lol
As much as i was hyped for payday 3 like the rest of us, i feel like for me at least, this is a case of to little to late. The launch left a very bad taste in my mouth as it did much of the community. I really want this game to succeed, but with it having less than 2000 players on steam as a 24 hr peak from checking, the game has to pull something big to recover or else it will ultimately flounder. Im going to try again during the winter sale. I really do want to like this game.
**again this is my opinion lmao**
True bro, i was hyped for this game to release but i honestly dont feel like i should buy it for like another year until they fix up this game to the potential it has
I don't think it's too little too late. While it's still not enough and it took too long, a lot of Players for Payday 2 joined very late, when the game was already a few years old. So I don't think that Payday 3 has lost its chance, it's just too bad it messed up its launch like this.
Now after this BiG update they di, I love it❤️❤️❤️
@@DerPolygonianer the lowest peak player count in a month for pd2 was 11k. For pd3 we are already down to 3k. There needs to be a literal miracle for it to recover.

Ive been taking all the cops before the heist goes loud as hostages, cause they count as guards i guess.
Really good for the hostage trading skills ofc
(In cook off)
Repairing your armor already filled the portion you could still recover in the previous patch. I was always able to use almost my entire armor reserve, grab one from the bag and refill all three at once.
So, does this mean they made it so it doesn't do that in general anymore and is exclusive to the perk? Or does the perk just do nothing now?
it now refills the portion that you lost, but cant recover, i.e the darker blue bit
it always restored the red bit, and still does
The thumbnail scared me for this one lol
looking at the steamcharts was TRAGIC i wonder if it went up after this update
It did around 5,000 people
6:52 problems, my whole build is on killing dozers.
Update looks cool and all but for me it is too little too late
Literally.
Agree
I have a theory on Turbid station, in the old murky station we stole guns and other things that made money for the lulz and a middle finger to murky water.
but this time we are stealing satellites, orbit stabilizers and solar panels and we also have a new way to encrypt our tech like C-stacks, it could be fair to say with Shade, Locke, joy and even wolf they might have the skills necessary to build a global satellite based network for a Crimenet 2.0 since the old one got blown the fuck out of the water, and a loud or stealth heist would be needed to launch a bunch of these satellites into orbit to give the payday gang a way to expand to new areas and countries to find new scores and heisters. (maybe even find some old friends)
I feel like this would be a perfect next step for payday 3's narrative and would help to explain why we need Locke back in the first place, he was gonna be bain's next in line for crimenet so the only person who could even have a chance at rebuilding it and not getting caught would be him.
So they added old content from payday2 with a recolor why would I play payday3 if all they’re gonna add is old content might as well. Still play payday2
I am excited for the new stuff, even if it’s legacy content (I hope they stuck with the every heist can either be stealth/loud…. Besides loud only heists). Currently I was trying to beat a game since a new one is coming out next year (I have 6 games to beat before catching up to the story…. aka that’s not happening before release) but I really like the new mask (reminds me of an old toy I had which I can’t find an image of it on the internet…. it wasn’t that old) and kinda want to go back to playing more Gold and Sharke (I just like it the most with the rewards given…. The first bank and jewelry store missions are fun but rewards kinda suck).
I am happy we get something for leveling up when beating a mission. The progression for just the challenges kinda sucked especially when it jumps so far after a certain point (I think one of the jumps was 750 kills to 1000). My only one complaint is the endless waves (not that big of an issue but I feel like it comes way too fast on some missions).
I do wonder if they fixed the typos with some of the challenges. For weapons with the same brand name they had the wrong gun name on some challenges. Like the Reinfeld 880 and the Reinfeld 900s or the Signature 40 and Signature 403. I haven’t checked but it did confuse me when I progressed or didn’t progress on challenges to guns I wasn’t/was using. (This could have been fixed since I noticed this kinda early on).
sadly the old days of infinite downs with field surgery FAKs is gone, as it was a "bug"...
at least triage is more viable now as a alternative and also easier to pull of as getting transporter aced will make you able to get constant 30%+ HP from faks, tag it with gunslinger and you get full 45%+ bonus at command.
i doubt people who droped the game will come back, when this happens to other games, the game normally die and fall into the abyss of forgotten.
My conclusion.
Play "Cook off", play over 30 minute, game crash.... Feels worse than before
I'm to be fair disappointed, THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE GAME ON RELEASE.
Maybe the full version of payday 3 will be able to come out in 3 years instead of 10 unless Overbreeze messes up and go bankrupt after deep silver pulls out
Can't wait to be able to wait for 2 days for the game to update
Babe wake up, new TheKknowley video came out
looks like i still have to wait for a few more months
Imma be honest, this aint enough to bring me back to call of duty payday, imma go back to the game that actually pushed its limits and did new things, payday 2.
Ill be honest, from jump I think the "final assault"/ "final charge" mechanic can just piss so far off. One of the best things in the game is the new hostage trading system, so why oooo why oooo why on so many heists does it throttle this mechanic by triggering the infate wave of bullshittery at the halfway point? Why have an entire tree based around hostage trades and carefully timing trades to best suit your team when your just going to throw the eintre mechanic out the dam window? just make it trigger at the final 10-20% instead hell Id like to see a heist that you can strategically hostage trade your entire way thro.
I wish I could get through the title screen. I’ve had issues were I cannot get to even a mission briefing without having so much push back and taking almost 10 mins just to “try” to get in a game. But then I still get the nexus login error.
Note: on the new generation console.
been having some fun when I've been able to play. My ISP has been screwing me over a bit lately, making me scream for an offline mode more lmao.
A manscapped ad, get yo bag bro
I still have no idea how "Plate up" works. It doesn't refill your current armor slot like it says it does (with grit active). So either it's another poorly written, it's bugged, or I'm not using it properly.
Update looks nice, but personally I'll keep waiting before coming back, as we yet got another update without a simple "disable aim assist" option 😕
It still just feels like a bank heist DLC for Call of Duty, they removed far too much for it to still be an actual payday game, it just doesn't feel fun to play
Finally a new skill tree that is not just a nerfed one from payday 2
Is anyone else having trouble with the servers again? Cook off works fine for me but whenever I try to load into turbid station it gives me the error screen
