crazy how hard this flopped on launch. had a 40k playerbase for payday 2 that were all excited for 3 and now pd3 averages like 1k players at any given time.

I played it for like 30 hours, was pretty fun. But there ain’t much of a reason to play the game when payday 2 is available. Payday 2 has way more content and polish. Aside from that, which will obviously be fixed over time, the main issue with this game itself is the how levelling up works and perks feeling pretty weak. The fastest way to level up is by doing weapon challenges, which boils down to you sitting in the bathroom on the last mission of the game until you fully run out of ammo, then dying and doing it all over again.
It's really sad how Payday 3's launch went. I personally loved the game whenever I played it. The only things I really wish it had at the start were an offline mode and an exp on heist completion. I think both of those would've helped massively during the server outages and lack of updates for 2 months. I only hope update 1.0 will be a good sign for payday 3, as it fixes some of the issues the majority of people, including myself, had with progression. Edit: God please let operation medic bag workout, i want this game series to succeed i really fucking do.

Watching the stealth segment I thought of some other co-op game you played together, a couple that came to mind where GTFO and war hammer dark tide. I personally would love to see both those games on the channel again. As well as S.T.A.L.K.E.R. obviously.
I wanna say this for your next steath, hiest, as long as you're in a private area and not a secure area. If a guard catches you, they will just walk you out very useful to get one teammate to make the guard leave the area

Laughing my ass off at how absurdly suspicious all the behaviour at the start is. Dudes are wearing gloves, running in and out of random doors and pointing at cameras saying "camera" out loud. Security guards don't give a fuck for $10 an hour.
Payday 2 had something like 106 DLCs. Looks fun, a bit stupid how blind and dumb the security, workers, ect. are, but specifically that insane number of DLC is exactly the reason why I will never play Payday 2 OR Payday 3. Just not worth it to play a game that's going to end up costing who knows how much over time. Probably would have cost like $1000 if you would have gotten Payday 2 and all the DLC whenever they all first launched so the only way to get these games for a reasonable price is to wait until all the DLC is out and then it has a massive Steam sale, but then at that point all you're likely to have is a dead game; a door stop that can't even hold open a door.
got pd2 for free around 2015 and upgraded to ultimate edition around 2016 one of the best purchases ı've ever made as ı spent a lot of time in that game.

Drewski can make a wet paper bag look fun but this game is a dead meme unfortunately. Playing loud you can beat all 6 or 8 heists in a day. Worth getting the XBOX game pass though.
High potential lies within this game. Payday 2 was peak gaming for years fast paced, gung ho and pure fun gameplay made that game a living hell as well as true gamers heaven. Eventually, payday 3 will get reworks and updates that make it close to as good as payday 2 for its time. NOT BETTER FOR ALL THE PEOPLE WHO DONT KNOW HOW TO READ AN ENTIRE COMMENT.
Just my opinion, but I think that payday 3 can be much better than payday 2 it just needs time to be not only fixed but also grow as a game. It'll take time but I do believe that time and love can heal this wound.
