- To buy or not to buy. How does the Vapormax feel and respond as a workout shoe? I bought this shoe and almost returned until I tried it as a workout shoe. The Vapormax's unique design is definitely a looker but this shoe comes alive when put to the test.
Best review on the Vapormax by far from an athlete perspective! Just copped the volt heritage color way, I'm even more hyped after watching this video!
Exactly the review i was looking for 🍲
He didnt even run
Just got latest Vapormax in black. Love them!
hey brother love the review i started running on the treadmill right out the box with these joints. i have 2 pair and i love the cushioning as opposed to ultra boost while running. and i thought something was wrong with me because i felt soreness in my feet but i guess thats my feet strengthening while running because im not used to it.
yea the soreness is very familiar to me. i recently bought the airmax 270 black hot punch but im thinking about returning them for another pair of vapor max
Vincent so I tried on the 270s yesterday the vapormax are way more comfortable.
I actually bought a pair of the 270's. The hot punch and all black colorway. I was disappointed in the technology of shoe. The foam cushioning just seemed pretty basic and simple. I returned mainly because of the fit. It was weird to me because one size seemed to small while the other size was too big. It was just too much money to not have a perfect fit.
Good review for runners which I was looking for. Thanks 👍🏼
These are actually not great for running 😂 the transition from heel to toe or even to to heel is terrible and put considerable pain on the arch during long periods of use, but one thing is true the vapormax is legit indestructible the cushioning gets much softer over time when you break it in. But as a running shoe the ultraboost 4.0 is the best
If you have a flat foot yes an ultraboost might be better but to me the utlraboost is too soft and too flat for someone who is a sprinter. With my running style and the speed that I typically run at the ultraboost just isn't for me in the same manner that Vapormax isn't for you when it comes to running. The pain you feel in the arch is due lack of strength in the muscles beneath the foot along with your foot width being wider than what is ideal for Vapormax. A shoe like the ultraboost doesn't work that muscle of the foot which could be part of the reason you experienced that pain. And yes it's pretty dog on indestructible.
Vincents City a shoe shouldn’t be uncomfortable Becuase if muscles in ur foot air max isn’t nikes performance running line anyway
TheBlackIndy right!?
Ultraboost 4.0 doesnt have shit on the vaporflys
Think it’s the insole, if there is a hard arch support that’s when I can’t use a shoe with my flat feet. Also if it’s a narrow shoe it may hurt the same🤷♂️
Love the review man. Awesome work!
thanks I appreciate it a lot.
Well done mate. Excellent Review.
hey thanks. I appreciate it.
Great review man! You got a new subscriber for sure!

Thanks for the review!
Thank you for your comment. Glad you stopped by.
I like your review
Thanks Rayan. Glad you like the review.
I’ve been in them for a month I like em so far
Keep your work
Why did Nike categorize this as a lifestyle shoe now? I don’t get it. Did they mess up trying to make this a running shoe?
Most people are wearing them as a lifestyle shoe. I think nike knows they have shoes that are more geared towards running. Plus they’ve come out with several versions of vapormax that are definitely lifestyle shoes.
Ive been wearing vapormax since 2018, they are not NOT running shoes. No arch supporrt or heel support….Lifestyle i approp
i got the habanero the superman colorway
In your 4yrs of using vapormax does the bubble air popped? Or not?
Great vid if you kept going you would have gotten about hundreds of subs by now
thanks and a very good point you make
Nice shoes but that nike branding looks lame.
Why did he through the shoe on the ground.
When he threw em on the ground I thought there was going to be a transition where they magically are on his feet 😂 but nope… just dropped em lol
Lol, that is a good one for sure!
Are they good for sprinting repeats like 200 repeats or js long distance?
Any one knows how they perform in the gym? Bar bell Squats ,calve raises, dead lifts, stair master, elliptical.
CountryNinja601 Mississippi They can handle all of the exercises you mentioned just fine. I've done them all with these. I will say that when you get to heavier weight over 250 lbs on squats or deadlifts a flat shoe or a lifting show with a platform is more stable. I tend to deadlift without shoes regardless. Calve raises are great because of the flexibility of the shoe and the bubbles will be just fine for the stair master and elliptical.
Late reply but you probably shouldn’t be doing any of these workouts with these shoes or any type of squishy running shoe
Does any of u guys have some shredding if the thick plastic at the bottom of the back air bubble? Looks like it’s dulling?
TTS? no comment??
Is your vapormax still okay right now?
I've worn these out from a performance standpoint. I can walk in them still but they're definitely worn out.
Came here after the 2 hour marathon was accomplished
7_k how were the shoes?
Are they good for parkour?
Krasser Dude I'd probably say not for parkour. I think that there are better shoes with more stability especially for landing than these. The bubble keeps your foot higher off the ground which increases the chances to roll your ankle in a sport like parkour. So to me I'd say no not for parkour.
Can you run on concrete and pavement without worry about the bubbles popping
Yes, you can run on concrete and pavement. The bubbles popping is definitely a possibility. As the shoe wears down over time I think the bubble popping becomes more of a possibility. This is more of speed shoe for sprinting and short burst activity than it is a long distance shoe. Just keep that in mind.
I purchased for 1600 meter or 1 mile run on rough track is it good ??
Yea you should be fine at about 1600 meters. I wouldn't go past that though.
I roll my ankle every time wtf
Would they be okay to use on a treadmill or at the gym in general?
Yes, they're great for both of those uses. Squatting may feel a little bit awkward when you to 200 lbs and up.
What if you’re flat footed
I think you'll be ok. But they could be uncomfortable initially until the muscles on the bottom of your feet strengthen up. Since this review, they've made some with a midsole that has a slightly different feel from these. Those feel more like a regular shoe. As far as these go I do think a flat foot will be fine as long as you're willing to make the adjustment.
The music is annoying
are these good for long distance of run like 1 or 2 km
Yes you're good for that distance. I think 3km would be close to the max.
Vincents City if 3km is the max these are not running shoes never mind 190 runners neither gym shoes are lack support
@@VincentsCity thx i know its a bit late and a last question are these resistant and comfy? how much time did you keep them ?
@@NoLimitFrenchyNoLimitFrxnchy i think he was just joking.
You are calling long distance run 1 or 2km? Wtf dude it's warm up
Do they fit true to size?
Yes they do. The thinner the sock the better the feel in my opinion.
Vincents City thanks for the reply
Its the worst for runninh
Very hard shoe for God sake dont buy this bullshit.
Very hard shoes bull shit shoe these should be given to soldeirs. Not fit for running
In your 4yrs of using vapormax does the bubble air popped? Or not?
Yes it did pop. I was able to still wear them after it popped. I have another pair but a different style that didn't pop.
