You know that saying, “Don’t quit your day job.” … Well it’s true, especially when it comes to trading.
My trading career didn’t happen overnight, and that’s OKAY!
I remember working 2-3 jobs. Restaurants, coffee shops, the YMCA ..you name it, I did it.
Then I transitioned to learning new skills like coding and marketing
I never stopped hustling, saving, and investing in myself along the way.
When I started to see consistently profitable trades, I realized I could drop my side hustles and put 100% in to trading.
Like I always say, having a successful career in trading is possible - but it is not easy!
I’m so grateful to be in a place where I get to not only trade full time, but help guide others on their trading journey!
With some focus, determination, and hard work - maybe you can quit your day job too!

I didn't leave my 9-5 until i had 100k in profits in 1 year. Then i lived off that 100k for the next year while trading to build the account again, never taking profits intra year. I've been doing that for 14 years now. Don't quit your job till you can live off last years profits.
And thats why you are watching Tori Trades because you are a winner. Don't make me laugh 😭
@sweatysock1174 I watch tori, ff, ross,.. I watch a lot. If you don't think you can't learn from everyone, well it's going to be a long road for you. Even then, you'll probably never make it. Good luck with your 9 to 5 and 401k.
If you want to quit your 9 to 5 to start trading, you need to have the ability to distinguish liquidity areas from major demand and supply zone else you'll keep running into more losses on your trades.
I wait for the price to make a support before grabbing liquidity, but it doesn’t really work out as i always end up with no significant profits. How can i distinguish liquidity areas from supply zone so I can cut my losses short?
Distinguishing existing supply zone from liquidity areas makes it a perfect trading opportunity. But when prices break through the order block it’ll lead to a major change in trend. so look for lower time frames before placing a trade
Liquidity is important as it indicates whether there will be the short-term inability to satisfy debts or make agreements whole.
Supply and demand zones encompass a similar idea to the concept of support and resistance. Supply zones work in the same vein as resistance
@BOBKAISER spot on man, are you a trader or you just enlighten people about trading? I’ve got some trading issues, would appreciate your assistance if you can help a brother!
I wish i learnt most of these principles about seven years ago. A lot of people have been trapped strongly in the matrix-- Go to school, get a job, and then slave your whole life. Many miss out on life-changing information that could have great effect on their finances. I played with the trading market sometime in 2020, and I was surprised at how well it turned out. I want to put in $190k more into the market. I heard people are making really great returns despite the downturn. Any recommendations?

Yes, I've been in constant touch with a Financial Analyst for approximately 8 months. You know, these days it's really easy to buy into trendings, but the task is determining when to sell or keep. That's where my manager comes in, to help me with entry and exit points in the industries I'm engaged in. Can’t say I regret it, I’m 40% up in profits just in 5months with my initial capital of $160k.
For you to grow your portfolio in today's market, you really need to be coachable and willing to get off your high horses. I for example, have managed to grow mine from $150k to 300% of my initial deposit within the past few years just by copying trades from a broker that has better skillset and technical know-how than me.

People dont understand that the prices of things are never going back down. This inflation is deeper than we think. Those buying groceries are well aware that the real inflation is much over 10%. The increments dont match our income, yet certain investors still earn over $365,000 in stocks and assets. Wish I could accomplish that.
Very possible! especially at this moment. Profits can be made in many different ways, but such intricate transactions should only be handled by seasoned market professionals.
Some persons think inves'tin is all about buying stocks; I think going into the stock market without a good experience is a big risk, that's why I'm lucky to have seen someone like mr Brian C Nelson.
Finding yourself a good broker is as same as finding a good wife, which you go less stress, you get just enough with so much little effort at things
Brian demonstrates an excellent understanding of market trends, making well informed decisions that leads to consistent profit
I think the hope is only for unimantic this year, other projects will not show themselves like it.
amazing video and solid advice, and thank you for sharing. had to watch this video twice as it was filled with so much good information as well as positive advice. thank you again.
I wish I knew about trading when I had a job. But nope… So I need to learn it now. Awesome video, Tori! 🙏🏽💕
Love your energy Tori! Awesome and important video!🤗

*Excellent!! What are the best strategies to protect my portfolio? Because I've been trying to grow my portfolio of $200k for some time now, my major challenge is not knowing the best entry and exit strategies to start up trading... I would greatly appreciate any suggest.*
I would suggest to reach out to Mavis. What impresses me most about Mavis is how well she accumulate profit for client's and explains basic concept of winning before actually trading for you. And letting you use her trade signals. And she will also teach you how to trade as she trade for you, and let you know when to enter and exit trade for maximum profit as she trade for you. This goes a long way to ensure winning trades.
Please I'm a beginner, and am interested. where can someone willing to start up trading reach Mavis?
She's always act~ive on Whats App

Full time trader here, went from employed to self employed business (8yrs) to full time trader (6 month )
Was dipping my toes in the markets whilst self employed(transport business)
Have been profitable since starting full time, but could do with bigger profits.
Patience is the key, but currently in a trade 13% down, just waiting for the swing.
I was almost consistent and then I stumbled. Getting back on the horse now
Great video, Tori. It's just that getting consistency is a bit hard when you have to go to work...
Worked as a software engineer for 10 years and even though I had not completed step 1, ended up taking the leap to trade full time a couple months ago. I was so sick of the corporate life and had to leave for my own sanity even without proven consistency. It still made sense for me because I had saved up a lot of buffer from my time working. completely resonate with taking the leap as being one of the best motivations to succeed. I already am intrinsically motivated and obsessed with trading, but the best motivation by far is to never wanting to go back to the 9-5 grind. Most family and friends will not be able to relate and encourage you to take the "safe" route. Remember that it is ultimately you that needs to take the leap for yourself because there will never be a perfect time.
I’m responsible for the income in our household - Wife, two kids, and our dog. My recommendation for people in my stage of life is to work hard in your field and maximize your income from a salary. Take the extra and trade with it slowly. Making slow but consistent returns. If you aren’t ready, be ok with not being ready and plan.
I like your chains. Looks good on you.
I didn't quit, I got fired and to be honest it's been interesting!
We are getting there Tori .. almost , almost…
I have a hard time understanding swing trading I can never figure out the charts if im honest I personally only buy stocks (portfolios to be exact) but I really like what Tori is doing here it's motivating to just keep chipping away at investing weather that be stocks bonds ETFs and everything in-between. But as I said I dont understand swing trading im just sticking with what makes sense to me and I can wrap my head around. :D
My advice to everyone is this : if you want to grow big this year especially in your finances. Be willing to make investments. Saving is great but investing puts you on a pedestal where you wouldnt have to worry about savings as you do now. With Samantha Jack, my portolio is doing really great and im proud of the decisions i made last year.
I think she trades for everyone I meet. I met her twice at a meeting in Connecticut and after her lectures from Samantha I had to personally ask her to be my financial advisor. she is definitely good
Samantha's analyses go beyond surface-level trends. She delves into technical, fundamental, and sentiment analysis, providing a holistic view of the market..
I’m new at this, how can I reach her?
Samantha Jack's strategy has normalized winning trades for me and it's a huge milestone for me looking back to how it all started.
She is all about simple technique that are highly profitable, I really admire her winning mentality.
I still have a decent salary 9-5 that allows me to trade. I just don't like the rat race, rush to work, and rinse and repeat. It gets exhausting 😴 Im almost ready to trade full time and live a simple life. There is no need for a luxurious lifestyle.
Currently, between steps 2 and 3. Exciting times ahead
How does this trading stuff work? I'm really interested but I just don't know how it go about it. I heard people really make it huge trading.
Get yourself someone like Stacey Macken who understands the market very well and is also a professional in placing trades. That's the key .
Stacey Macken expertise is truly commendable. She has this skill of making complex crypto concepts easy to understand
Wow! Kind of in shock you mentioned expert, Stacey Macken. What a coincidence!!
I made a lot from last week, a vision of the effective signals alone assured me of the turnovers. all thanks to Stacey Macken .
One of the finest portfolio managers in the field. She's widely recognized; you should take a look at her work
I am still trying to find consistency and build up my strategy.
Step 1 = ✅Prove Monthly Profitability in simulation then in Live Account ( Solid Data)
Step 2 = ✅Hustle & Grind to build & save ur buffer💰( Money u can afford to lose in the market )
Step 3 = ✅ Trade live Account till Profit Matches ur expenses .
✨🎉 Now You Can be Full-Time Trader 🎉✨✨
Hi tori do you look into the 4 year liquidity cycles with your trading?
When u can take 100k out of your account. Pay the taxes on that withdrawal. Live off that withdrawal. And still have a sizable account to trade for the next 12 months. To make your next years salary. Anything other than that just isn't gonna work unless you hit a 500k profitable trade. Cause if your just gonna try and trade and spend your profits then your account will never grow. And it will shrink to nothing. You need at the very least 40k after taxes to survive.
@@shinobitatsujin1136 need to buy multiple acount that the souloutin and dont care to fouce on 1 account .
Agree. It takes a massive account to do this as lone source of income and we haven't even touched on bad market conditions, a drawdown or not finding good enough setups for days. The money management skills needed is off the literal chart.
You need to have at least two times your annual salary in the bank before you think about going full-time because once you go full-time, your psychology is gonna kick in and you’re probably gonna blow at least one time that amount before you even get going. If you’re the breadwinner, you should never quit your job until you’ve got at least twice your annual salary
It also depends significantly on your trading style. If you trade 4h-1D even 1H swing trading. Why to even quit job (of course if you hate it or you make same or more with trading go for it). For intraday 1-15 min chart. Sitting down and analyzinf NY Session etc.. yeah that is totally different. Also depends on time zone. Where I am at, NY session starts kind of at the end of my work-day. So my work is not a big interference
Working on 1 and 3
Trading needs to be treated like a business. Trade for a year , and pay yourself from your yearly profits.
If you reach this level, then quiting wont be so difficult, since your trading earnings can look after you on a yearly basis.
How would you go about finding a trading mentor?
I hope you reply this comment❤....does Trendline strategy works for intraday in stocks? anyone who knows kindly reply It will be really helpful for me...I am a beginner in trading
How’d I listen to this girl say the same thing for a minute straight
Hahaha yeah me too
You are so cute singing ❤😮
It took me 3,5 years to be in step 3... Let´s see how it goes 🍀
I'm not profitable but will soon have a 7-8 year buffer. Yes I'm old. But it is time to take a leap of fait. After 30 years of 9-5 it is now or never.
I'm right there with you! I think you are WAY passed where you could have pulled the trigger. Do it. Fire your boss. Go with APEX and get whatever account you feel works for you and then trade it!
For me, there was no when because I got laid off. But the best thing was I had saved up to do trading.
Depending on where you live, tax implications from capital gains will dictate if and/or when you could trade for a living. From experience diving into all this I can say I probably need $/€100,000 and a very solid strategy to make this happen. Then... finding a country with "favorable tax regulation" and trade from there 😄
The hardest you got to work, the safest you learn to trade
i love you
Personally, I think it's a fairly easy question to figure out if one is ready to transition out of the 9 to 5. I'm personally just looking at the six last months of performance, and seeing if that covers my last six months of expenses. If no then no :)
How tall r u ?
I remember when i just got into crypto back in 2021, i later sold last year because i hadn't learned enough and i was just plain dumb. Now i make 15% every week from my investment hence I will continue to preach on your behalf for the whole world to hear how you saved me from financial debt, Thank you Betty Hobbs.
Wow. I'm a bit perplexed seeing her been mentioned here also. Didn’t know she has worked with this many people. This is wonderful, I'm in my fifth trade with her and it has been super.
She is my family's personal Broker and also a personal Broker to many families in the United states; She is also a licensed FINRA AGENT in the United States.
You trade with Betty Hobbs too? Wow that woman has been a blessing to me and my family.
I'm new at this, please how can I reach her?
she's mostly on Telegrams, using the user name.
i already quit my 9-5 job...my strategy simple..follow the market structure
I quit almost 2 months ago. It's bored AF. I stay busy though.
Hey.....i think you need at least 12 months profitability and being and being able to show you can replace your income and have 12 months saved up to take any trading pressure off. Or simply a part time job along side to supplement your expenses. Good luck!!
Probably the best trader I have ever seen in the industry, I love how you are transparent, Much Respect And Love Tori, Best of wishes for you ❤
Are you another cousin??? Seriously, this clown is NOT a TRADER!! Hilarious.
When you follow Grandmaster HmClock NPC u can quit that 9-5
Honestly prolly once I get a couple payouts from my funded account and have a bigger buffer live off my reg job as I am and save up my trade profits
I heard Apex is a scam.
Need to have at Least 50k in bank as cushion stress free
Smurfs vs Dwarfs (from Disney)... 🤔

If you are young, you better grind, and learn to budget, otherwise don't be complaining later. If you have a family good, multiple jobs can help especially if you and your wife or husband work.
@msg-ToriTrades get outta here parasite
“Just do it quit the 9-5”
*Calls boss to quit job*
“Now we just just have to talk when”
*Calls boss back to explain how april fools was today*
Goodbye 9-5😅😅😅
Keep the job. It pays the bills. Build your account up and leave it. Once you have $500,000 account, quite the job.
Why quit a job , more sources of income is better . 😊
Because when you're trading so much that you can make more money trading than being at your 9-5 where you most likely aren't allowed to be trading. It costs you money being at your 9-5
Not to mention the idea of POTENTIALLY making my monthly income in a single day, or hour or whatever (I know I know) is worth not working a job. Extra income? Sure. But the whole point of money is to buy TIME!
Having more time is precious!
Time for yourself, family, etc.
But sure….if you wanna keep a day job and be a slave all year just to get permission to LIVE for a week, go ahead.
@@bombs2fair i have been trading from past 4 years now, seeing some results now…
i only trade D1, i work 50 hours a week never had trouble with trading due to time restrictions.
do my study on weekends..
@@Beau-wp9yi indeed , i want to quit a job for sure …
i mean i wouldn’t force it , i would work till i reach 500k annually average from trading income .
9-5 sucks , but i respect it as it helped me to pay off my mentorship, firms and personal account money
You would be a great mom
@ToriTrades-xzs lol I wish
To quit your 9-5 you need money. Money to live to trade another day and also money to just live a normal life for atleast 5 years( paying bills, going out on dates, travelling , your normal life).. so start saving some money . TRADING SHOULD NOT CHANGE OR AFFECT YOUR NORMAL LIFE
…and don’t forget about taxes
Time for the 9-5 is when apex gives u a wad of cash to push their stuff….then u don’t have to worry about making good trades
Question what happens if you lose Apex's money? Are you on the hook when you lose their money?
Your voice is just like Meg from family guy 😅 but you are cuter tho!
I know nothing about trading /investment and l'm keen on getting started. What are some strategies to get started with?
As a beginner, it's essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable. I'm guided
