I make 500k a year. Mind you I have no children and zero debt. I have a six figure portfolio (Stocks, crypto crowdfunding real estate, savings, and CD's) it wasn't easy. I hustled, saved, and invested my money. I always tell people "Money can't fix stupid"
I agree that there are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy or market condition, but such executions are usually carried out by investment experts or advisors with experience.

Natural, there's a lot of math involved in forex trading. but this is often presented in forms of daunting technical charts, indicators, patterns.
Trading systems allow you to limit the factor of emotional influence on decision-making, as well as to give the trade a certain degree of systemic characters
I solved this by completely ignoring the dollar amount, the PnL all together, and zero'd my focus on following my plan as defined by my system. Then I purposefully triggered my internal reward system based on how well I followed the plan, regardless how much money was made or loss. That just worked out better for me and it didn't take years. The key is finding the method that works with who you are.

My losses ae terrible on NQ/ES, BUT... on Crude oil..... WOW. Game changer. I don't know what it is about oil but I just click with it. I had my first $2200 day in oil. I think I'm going to stick with just trading MCL for a while and work on my strategy and holding longer.
If you dont manage the Risk, you may find the same number in opposite side, So pls stay vigilant and focus on managing Risk. Just an advice.
Why not just focus on Oil then??
The mature trader will trade the trade, not the P/L....so true. Easier said than done. It takes time and experience in order to be able to disconnect from P/L. The 2 most difficult aspects of trading: identifying your best edge/chart analysis....once that is accomplished, the next most difficult aspect is holding the trade until its maturity.

My 2 biggest hurdles have been including some helpful EA's: one that call take a profit at a $ amount which is so helpful when I'm in a bad trade and just want to get out. The other is to focus on a trade size of 1-2%. When the trade goes against me I can scale in a recovery trade, or even a series of trades to get into profit, use the EA and move on. The days of the 10%+ trade size is over. Great video, thanks!

I would suggest to reach out to Mavis. What impresses me most about Mavis is how well she accumulate profit for client's and explains basic concept of winning before actually trading for you. And letting you use her trade signals. And she will also teach you how to trade as she trade for you, and let you know when to enter and exit trade for maximum profit as she trade for you. This goes a long way to ensure winning trades.

Been a Minute Tori, Since I commented on one of your posts, It's striking that balance between holding for that little longer and holding for to long, I feel that people cut there trades short because let's say there going short and see the price going back up, they think that it has reversed on them when in realty it's only a pullback then when there out, they see that it went down even more but still don't realize that it was just a pullback as they got scared out of that trade, Oh and you just got to do more Live's Girl. 🙂

To mitigate risk, you could move your stop loss to breakeven once you are in good profit. You could also use a trailing stop.

I found it really difficult jumping into the downtrend on Platinum. The uptrend before was easy. But I just lack knowledge, so practice practice practice.

Decrease position size to increase risk capacity. Commodity futures are mean reverting. Smaller positions and longer holding periods.

I just sold my first swing trade today! I bought QQQ on 5/22 at $456 and sold on 6/20 at $484 for a 6% profit!

I would like a statistical investigation on holding trades overnight vs closing them sometime in the day and reopening them sometime after the market reopens... It might just be that holding overnight is best or not depending on what you are trading especially. Gold doesn't reopen far away, but for stocks and natural gas, it opens 3,4, 7% away no problem.
Hi Tori, thanks for your video. My issue is altho I keep getting great entries (or within 3 or 4 ticks of the best entry) my nervous system becomes over-stimulated and I move my stop to break even too early and then price comes back to retest the demand area, takes me out for break even and then takes off without me in the trade.
Did you not enter to early then?? Should you not have enter at the re test?
@dn822 I'm usually entering at support after a breakout has retraced there. Where I get in trouble is after price leaves support & goes 10 ticks in my direction, I move my stop to break even & then price comes back to support a 2nd time & takes me out. What I need to do is to always assume there will be a 2nd retest of support where I got in, & until then keep my stop at the place where if it get hit, it means entry was wrong.. It's a psychological game. If I do one of Tori's break of trend trades, in that case I usually wait for the bar to retrace some after it breaks the trend.
pep talk is good, if you can show in charts, that would help.
One thing seem to working for me is that when my target amount is reached, I take like 50 to 70% off the table and let the other ride. By this I have made my profits and even if it goes another direction, my SL will kick in and would still be in profits. Still learning.

Strategy hopping is a problem for me for sure. I actually had this same weakness in another side income which prevented me from succeeding.
I realized after a couple years I have such an inkling to be in a trade, that I now have A and B set ups, B i go very light to sort of scratch that mental itch and then charts seem so clear it’s the weirdest thing to most people but everyone has their own method I’ve been profitable for a couple months straight now 🔥 no more yo-yo ing

Easier said than done. but I will try.
Dont set A profit target, but always have an ASCENDING profit exit playbook. For example 3% 6% 9% steps etc etc etc. So when the big move comes YOU WONT MISS IT!!!

I have absolutely no problem holding for 500 pips, I even add like crazy, thing is, 80% of the time, it comes back on me before my daily target is reached. So my main problem is exiting...

It's been dumping and pumping in this range for ages! It's technically just going sideways, sideways means generally stagnant. More emphasis should be put into day trading, as it less affected by the unpredictable nature of the market. Get yourself someone like Stacey Macken who understands the market very well and is also a professional in placing trades. That's the key .
I am surprised that this name is being mentioned here, I stumbled upon some of her clients testimonies on CNBC news last week.
What impresses me most about Stacey Macken is how well she explains basic concept of winning before actually letting you use her trade signals. This goes a long way to ensure winning trades.
Her technical analysis is excellent and hid interpretation/projections of the market is so accurate I sometimes ask myself if she is human haha. Point is, Stacey is the perfect trader to follow for advise and daily signals.

Damn 30k that's insane, mine is 19k, but I do believe I could have hold 1 trade to 40k but saying these big numbers ofc I will take it but than I see that trade could've do 3x times more than I took of the table but still happy with that 15k but for next time I will have more confidents to hold a little bit each time

First time Ive tried platinum I opened and closed that trade like five times 😂😂 allways scared to loose. But at the end if I would have stayed in would have made like 80% but instead made maybe 20-30% cause I lost money by going in and out.

My advice to everyone is this : if you want to grow big this year especially in your finances. Be willing to make investments. Saving is great but investing puts you on a pedestal where you wouldnt have to worry about savings as you do now. With Samantha Jack, my portolio is doing really great and im proud of the decisions i made last year.
