1) IIT means Indian Institute of Technology established by government of India which is world standard engineering colleges. There are 23 nos IIT in India including one IIT in Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir.. Admission into IIT is based on very tough competitive examination . There are examples that those who failed to get a seat in IIT on competitive examination got admission into America's best engineering college like MIT. 2) In schools nothing is taught in schools about Pakistan except it's geography, capital city, and other cities , agricultural products, industrial and minerals available , cities with population etc. India's freedom struggle is taught and at the end in 1947, two country creation is taught . India and Pakistan. Then only india india india india india india india india india . No time for Pakistan study.

I’m really surprised to know that they “teach” about India in Pakistani syllabus. In our curriculum we were never taught about the India-PAK wars. Rather, we were educated how we together fought British to gain independence.

For example, if we take states like UP, MP, Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, here syllabi are in Hindi medium n if we talk about other states, then Telangana n Andhra Pradesh have Telugu medium, Tamil Nadu has Tamil Medium, Kerala has Malayalam medium, Karnataka has Kannada medium, Maharashtra has Marathi medium, Gujarat has Gujrati medium , Odisha has Odia medium, West Bengal has Bengali medium, Assam has Assamese etc..
Apart from literature, all of the Indian states teach syllabi in their regional languages..
One more thing, I lives in UP, here even UP board English medium is also available apart from CBSE English medium schools n UP board Hindi medium...

As an 26 years old woman. I would say that the biggest difference in the Education system in both Country is that in India we mostly focus of personal development , scientific knowledge, moral values and historical events . While in Pakistan, I assume, most of the teaching is based on a particular views of few people instead of Historical facts, they are more focused on Urdu language which might create a problem when it comes to knowledge from all over the world as the children can not learn whats there in the books from other nations or writers and they even can't really understand anything knowledgeable from RUclips as well. Also, I think, the community views are forced on the individual and there is very less space left for individual free thoughts. People focus more on the problems instead of solution in Pakistan which leads to them just blaming their government for everything instead of taking responsibility on oneself for improving.
Btw, small correction "Akhand Bharat" doesn't include other countries, this kid might have misunderstood it. But the word means "undivided India" that is unity among the different States, people, religion and tradition of India .

Here in India, there are two education boards, i.e. Central Edu Board and State Education board. In the central education board all the subjects are in English & 1 national and regional language subject is compulsory.
However, in the state education board, most of the subjects are in Hindi or in the regional language of the state.

Sana ji, here in India you need to select one language Subject. It depends on state. Their local language/ french/ Hindi. All other subjects are taught in English. In state government local language schools there is a compulsory English language Subject. Other subjects are taught in their local state language. But frankly books do not mention much about Pakistan. There are small paragraphs on Harappa civilization and wars between 2 country
Actually we Indians really don't have that much of time to think about Pakistan...we Indians need to focus on our development and oura culture. and for us we love our religion but our parents never thought us to hate others religion too.
