Eldora Ski Resort Colorado 12/16/2023

It's a beautiful Colorado bluebird, blue sky day at Eldora Mountain Ski Resort. More terrain has opened up and the Corona and Indian Peaks Lifts are now spinning on the back side. The white capped mountains in the background contrast sharply with the deep blue sky. It's a little windy, but warm enough that a shell protects you. The surface is a wind blown hardpack, but there's excellent coverage on the runs. It makes for very clean, precise turns. Skied a lot of trails today, including: Hornblower, Around The Horn, International, Wayback, Sidewinder, Lower Diamond Back, Liftline, Lower Ambush, Dream & Scream, Klondike, Four O'Clock, La Belle Dame, and Hot Dog Alley. Couldn't ask for more.
