great video. went ahead and sub'd. purchased one of these to build my first cage for my 68 mustang. already upgraded it to the HD model and i haven't even used it yet lol.. things is a beast though. can't wait to put it to work.

I enjoyed your review. I purchased my XHD aproximately 1 year ago. Since then, i have added dies, the mandrel attachment, upgraded pointer, angle cubes. I purchased the upgraded wheels to turn my XHD to a 625, and i just finished paying for the 2 hp electro/ hydrolic actuation system. I have not used it much yet as my shop burned down a couple years ago and is not rebuilt yet. I have a project already figured out in Bend Tech and the tubes are cut . I have to make the alterations to the XHD frame to upgrade to the 625. Do you have the mandrel attachment and have you used it ? Have you tried using the square tubing dies ? I can tell from this video you are quite experienced so i would appreciate any thoughts you might have. Thanks Demon ( Demon Fabrication )

I've really been eyeing that bender but not sure if I trust my welding skills to actually buy the DIY kit.
If you clean the mil scale and take your time, it will be fine! Honestly all of the joints are very easy to weld and the material is thick!
