Looks like a great electrical set up. I also watched the video on their website. My suggestion for the Troopy would be a pop top roof conversion. Expensive but it means you can get inside out of the weather. Not outside climbing up a ladder. Cataract operations have a high success rate these days, greatly improve people's lives.
So far we are really enjoying the electrical set up and is serving us really well. We would LOVE to do the roof top conversation and would honestly make our lives so much easier. Unfortunately, I do think we will have to leave it for now but hopefully it’s something we can work towards in the future. The old buy has gone really well with it and looking forward to getting his next eye done so he can have awesome vision moving forward.
Well thank you very much for that, this goes to show why you should read the manual. 😂 we will have to read through it and sort that out. Thank you so much for sharing that information 👍
Regarding the readings on your monitor- the negative side of the battery needs to be connected directly to the shunt with no other negative cables. Only the shunt. Then all other negative cables are connected to the other side of the shunt. If you don't do this, you won't get correct readings on your monitor. All good fun getting the wiring right.😂
Hi Beau and Madi 16:48 Congratulations on the fit out. Madi must be so proud that you are only sporting a Mo now. 👍👍. Much better anyway. We are heading over for 9wks Nov/Dec , wk down, wk back 7 in Tasmania. Any recommendations. Cheers Jamie and Louisa. 👌👍💯🙌
Hi Jamie and Louisa 😂 Madi has actually asked for the beard to come back/ doesn’t really mind. She would prefer me to not look 12 anymore haha. Sounds like a great trip, how exciting. Hope you enjoy. We really enjoyed the East coast and all the beautiful free camps that are there. The biggest thing we have found with Tassie is that it is just so scenic and we found ourselves always looking forward to the next corner to see what the view will be. We have documented and posted a lot of our travels around Tassie plus a few more to come as we have gone back to basics in the Troopy. Hope you can get some good tips from them 👍
Thanks, Beau and Madi, for the reply . We have started an itinerary as to what we want to see and do. Anything else will be a bonus. Like you said. There . truck loads to see. We are working on 2 nights where we stay, most times, unless the area has more to do and offer. We should be able to tick off most things. Hello 👋 to Mum and Dad. We'll keep an eye out for you guys when you head up to QLD. Cheers, Jamie and Louisa. 👌👌👍👍
Sounds perfect, we really have been amazed at how much there is to just take in and see. Im sure you guys will have the best time and enjoy your trip. We sure will, thank you so much hope you have safe travels and we might even see you around. 👍
Great job guys really looking forward to the end result.
Cheers mate we are looking forward to it. Can’t wait to test it all out!

When your battery is at 100% you need to synch the battery monitor. You need to input the AH off the battery and reset to 100%. Its in the manual.
