- This one will be quite a bit easier than some of my more recent nightmare tutorials. The hardest part of building here is... well it's getting here and placing your camp module. They're are two obstacles in the roof that are hard to work with, and you will be shot at by multiple teams of baddies every time you spawn in. But that location though...

Hint to placing it... Place your power armor down on the upper base of the antennae... stand on your power armor.. Enjoy instaplacement.

That's awesome to hear! I much prefer roofs over floors on builds like this. So much more versatility. And yeah, the scout banner... didn't have a jetpack, power armor, perk cards or armor that prevented fall damage, so I got creative LOL! Thanks so much for the great response!

This was really smart, and as always, the video is really well put together and easy to follow. And the camp turned out really well. Just need a few things from Bethesda, internal walls, wallpaper roofs, half and quarter vertical walls!

So as of right now this method only works on PS
Xbox and PC for whatever reason, it doesn't. It teleports you back down to where you were after a couple of seconds. The only way you stop the teleportation is to "interrupt" the flying with a jetpack and time it perfectly.
I've heard other poems say that too. You can still get up there with a jetpack. This was just a fun way to get there.

I just need to ask you a question: Is it true that with this new update, we won't be able to destroy stuff in our camp with the flamer?
If this is true, I think Bethesda is limiting us with their prefixed building. It will be a shame. The most fun in this game is to build new camps in different areas.
It was true, but I believe that Bethesda is working to reverse that change. We shall see on Tuesday.
That's one thing i really hate is how far the enemies can suddenly shoot at your camp. You'd think being up there would be well enough out of their radius.
When I was doing the build, I noticed that they weren't as focused on my camp until I put down the generator. I tried hiding the generator inside the metal box on the roof, and that helped, but they still shoot at the camp. It's a huge pain.

It's just challenging enough to be fun and achievable to a intermediate builder! If you give it a go, I'd love to see what you come up with.

If it weren't for all the baddies shooting at my camp it would be one of the best spots in the game.
I used to like building up there but I'm just always sick and tired of the super mutants down on the bridge shooting the shit out of my CAMP,😂
Nothing bothers me as much as the mobs way off by the bridge. Those guys (usually scorched but sometimes super mutants) drive me nuts!
I cannot get the post placed or anything else
There are several tutorials you will need to watch to get you the tricks you need to complete a build like this. Fir example, the post won't place because you're not using the stairpost blueprint. I'm linking some tutorials down below so you can get an idea how to build up there without foundations.

Are you in free cam when you grab the turret? Or do you jump with turret. Been trying for last hour 😂
I don't think it works in Freecam. I have heard others say they were struggling with it too. I confirmed it still works on PS last Sunday.

Here's the tutorial on that, although I've heard people say they struggle with it on XBOX and PC. They say it still works as long as you have a jetpack and time the jetpack just right. I've also had people say they have no problem with it on other platforms. Not sure what the issue is.

Ok, second question. Im on PC and I cant use any walls. How do you use walls with no foundation? TY

Here's a tutorial I made on walls. But to answer your specific question, I blueprint each wall shape. You can place individual walls from your blueprint menu.

You need to use blueprinted walls from your blueprint menu.
