  • RS485 Serial Communication Electric Lock Multi-Channel Control Board:
    A USB to RS485 serial converter is connected to a computer running an application that sends HEX commands to the controller board to release/unlock the lock.
    The 485A and 485B wires from the board are connected to the A and B terminals of the USB serial converter, as well as to the 12V power supply.
    This 8CH control board can connect up to 8 lockers. There are also 18CH, 24CH, and 50CH versions available.
    Communication Method: RS485
    Data Format: Hexadecimal command data format
    Serial Port Settings: Baud rate 9600; Data bits 8; Stop bits 1; Flow control None
    The baud rate can be modified to: 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, or 115200.
    Output Current: Maximum 6A current
    You can set the address of each board using the Control Board Setting switch.
    Switches numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 respectively represent the numbers 1, 2, 4, 8, and 16; these numbers can be combined to create a unique address ID for each board. Multiple control boards can be daisy-chained together, and each board needs a unique address ID. You can set the address for boards numbered 1 through 31.
    Lock control can be used in smart locker systems, vending machines, and other applications that require a locking mechanism.
