I played this card today and its pretty strong..i tried it in a more to the face shell..with stoke the flames,improvised club,reckless impulse and 2 copies of rally at the hornburg.i farmed izzet wizards,but was weak vs combo decks..great synergy,fast clock for a 1cmc card.thx for the videos
Sideboarding?: I have not play tested boros convoke. Is boarding into Authority of the Consuls good enough? (To help keep fewer blockers untapped and even give you an edge on the draw when you are playing from behind (to prevent a boros player from convoking as well as spending mana on nonconvoke spells.))
Definitely gonna craft this. Was saving my rares for mh3 but this shit looks fun as hell. I already have it built minus sunbaked and ruby collectors. I have a jund reanimate brew with jet collector. That is one SPICY fish folk
Looks fast and looks furious. I do love having Soul Warden against a boros convoke player. Yes life gain is a bit underrated for Historic. Best sideboard card?: Maybe you just play BO1 so you are not having to board into someone's response.
I think legions landing is worth playing again as a 1 of. Being able to curve out turn 1 thoptor into goblins turn 2 legions landing/ruby collector is a pretty broken thing to do. Probably more broken than playing a loxidon/knight errant t2 imo I play 3x outnumber in the board and 1 more case for the wizards matchup. If you don’t have instant speed interaction vs reckless charge the matchup is just impossible. Phyrexian revoker over needle Invasion is only brought in vs control. It could be correct to put in 1 or 2 surge of salvation in the board because of brotherhoods end. I almost never see anyone playing purge anymore.
