👏👏👏👏👏👏 Today is April 24, 2024 and I am just watching this for the first time. I am WAAAAAAY behind in your videos! But THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for making this video! I am SOOOO inspired by both of you playing these beautiful songs and it was very fun to see you play and beautiful to hear your pedal harp, Carrie!
This is quite a nice homey way to share conversation and a few harp songs--very lovely way to spend a coffee hour--what a nice way to start the day and the New Year---hoping you will do more of these sessions...(live session does not matter to me, as I am usually at work--so I am always listening to the play backs of everyone's concerts)...blessings... ...dts/usa (South Carolina)
Happy Holidays from Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. Having coffee and Bailies on Christmas morning enjoying this lovely recording. I’m so grateful to have found your webspace and courses. So thankful for all your courses as an adult beginner with little music experience. I am still working through the reading music course which is helping me sooooo much! Here’s to a happy New Year continuing my harp journey with you all! HUG❤
We did our 50th. Last yr. I improvised a tune for my husband. My first Christmas tune was your what Child is this. I remember you saying 10 months as Greensleves and two months of What Child is This. It’s still my favourite because it’s on harp and has a special memory now.
Sorry I missed the live stream. I watched the replay 3 or 4 times so far. This was so nice!. I really enjoyed it! The songs were lovely. I liked all the songs and thank you for the encouragement. I really like the "In the bleak mid winter arrangements and "That Night in Bethlehem. The pedal harp was a surprise and an added treat. Wishing you both a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Stay well
Carrie, I just love the sound of your pedal harp with you performing Frank Voltz' arrangement of "Angels We Have Heard on High". Just gorgeous! Thank you both for the wonderful playing!
Hey. I love your videos. I learnt the song "Ye Banks and Braes" from you. I am an Indian and very deeply into music. I mainly sing Indian Classical and Bengali music but totally love your voice.
I really enjoyed playing along with some of these harp songs on my classical guitar, when I got off work today...T.Y. ladies, for doing this live video!
How wonderful to see you both. Not enough snow here in Nanton, Alberta. It’s way too warm for a white Christmas which we love and need, for drought relief. Can’t wait to hear you play.
Loved this Christmas concert!!! Just beautiful & soooo relaxing!! I’m inspired to play my Holiday music on my harp now, & maybe a bit slower & as you said not “perfectly” but as beautiful as we can! Thanks for feeding my soul today!! Merry & Happy Christmas to you both!!🎄🎄🎄🧑🎄🧑🎄🥰
It was 5AM here in Alaska so I missed the livestream, but what a pleasure to listen to the recording first thing in the morning. Thank you for spreading joy. ❤
Which harp are you referring to? Carrie played a Ballad 34 from MusicMakers and a Style 2000 pedal harp, and I played the Jolie hybrid from MusicMakers
Maybe you will prefer this video? ruclips.net/video/0lwTahXIx54/видео.html That one is 3hours of purely harp Christmas music, for listening in the background 🤗🎶The livestream is supposed to be a fun chatty community space to connect, it’s not just for music 😊💕
