Everything you said towards the end I totally feel! It’s hard to know what to create when you feel a little lost. But I love your vlogs and will enjoy whatever direction they go 🤗
In response to your ending ramblings: There is a lovely young creator I watch here on YT called Morgan Evelyn Cook and she has been doing YT in seasons. 8 weeks on and 4 weeks off.
The wonderful part about this is it gives her time to have a break so she doesn’t burn out and as a viewer those four weeks go by fast so you miss them but you know they’re coming back with more energy.
I think there is something wonderfully sustainable in doing the on/off thing especially when you have planned for it and warned your viewers.
You obviously could make the schedule your own but it’s something to consider if you need to breathe new life into your channel.
I’m trying out on my own tiny channel 😅 because creating is hard work!
I’m down for whatever and whenever you upload! I watch your content for your personality/insight of every day life, whether it’s mundane or not!

Life is always transitioning and having mini crises is normal I think! It’s good to recognize it and to ride the wave. Showing that realness will help people, I think.

Hang in there Alexis, life is messy and all over the place and that's ok & very relatable for many of us here I'm sure! It's also a full moon tomorrow so that might be why you had a bad headache! Your content is great every aspect of it including the chill days & busy days, I think you are very hard on yourself with what you think we expect. I personally enjoy you and your friends and the content you post as is. Hoping you can relax and enjoy the ride. What I am trying to say is you will figure it out, you are doing ❤great!

That's weird, the headache thing statementabout the moon, cuz oddly everyo😢I was hanging with and myself , well had headaches, lol we were blaming each other, what's the deal with a full moon giving headaches?
@@PHREYDUM40 when there is a full moon there is a stronger gravitational pull that effects things like the tide and our bodies since we are mostly made of water, this can also cause heightened emotions and is said to also affect brain health as well, more babies are also born around full moons as it affects amniotic fluid and can induce more migraines for those that suffer from them! So always good to give grace around a full moon as folks are just not themselves! Kids are more hyped up, animals get more wound up. Hope this helps! 👍

It is the First Four In. And people call them a mid-major school for sports I think. Not everyone likes that name. But it is not a big power conference (not my words, wagner is great) so probably only one school from that conference got in the ncaa tournament and it has probably been that way for years. But for the Pac-12, they had six I believe and usually five or six go.

Have you thought about getting a laptop stand + a wireless keyboard and mouse? I find that it makes working from home much more comfortable, and it may help with your wrist pain too 🤍

Another video from the husky voiced Alexis which was varied and interesting. The cooking and hobby sessions with Emilye and Maggie along with Alexis's indecisions certainly made it entertaining along with the star of the show, Bennett the Cat. I haven’t watched your vlogs in awhile & have missed them. Good for you on the cooking (I don’t like cooking, lol, but like seeing food in vlogs). It has been raining some here, too, but the last few days really windy. Crazy weather everywhere. Good to see you enjoying your new apartment & roommates (despite the rain!). When the pressure is high from weather, that can cause headaches. Hobby hour sounds fun. Bennett is so cute. ❤ Happy spring!

I’ve been struggling with my own vlogs. I put lots of effort then watch my friends surpass me (and I’m happy for them as their friend) but it can be disheartening. Just wondering how you’ve felt in the past before you really started growing.

However, if you would allow me to add....consistency. I don't say this to be a jerk, just to tell you what I see from my perspective. If you are switching to Wed & Sun, then post Wed and Sun. Tuesday Friday, then post Tuesday Friday. You have to commit to the schedule and do what you say you are going to do and be consistent.

I figured something like this would happen. You were living alone and despite what you might have thought, you were so much fun to watch. In an older vlog you suggested following Emily and … well … not so much fun there with the kids entertainer. Reminded me of a more boring version of Sharon Lois and Bram. Then you moved to a new place with roommates and I thought to myself, we’re going to see the roomies more and sure enough that happened. Now it’s you and Emily and I sub’d to watch you, not her.
I feel very lucky to have such good friends and I feel equally as lucky to be able to include them in a few minutes of my vlogs every once in a while, to each their own ❤️
