    I learned korean for a while, and then I started feeling stuck so I drifted away from studying. Now I’m currently visiting Seoul, and I found myself understanding what people say around me, and the fact that I actually can read the station names. This really made me proud and motivated me to continue learning the language when I get back home. (There is a lot of translated words here in transportation places but sometimes there’s not, so I slowly read by syllables and I understand, that’s when I get a good feeling)❤

    Thank you so much for this encouraging video! I have only just begun my journey learning Korean. Lately, I've been feeling like I'm learning too slowly when compared to others. Your motivational words helped me realize that I'm doing great and to stop setting myself to someone else's pace. I too am learning the language as a hobby after becoming interested in the cultural and language. I will continue to have fun learning and fully take in the experience. You're doing great by the way! I love your videos!

    I hear you! ❤ When you feel stuck, it's so easy to lose interest, especially when you're busy and have a full-time job! 🤪 But I TOTALLY agree that having a genuine interest and having fun in the language give me such joy and freedom in the process! Thanks for sharing. 🥰

    I recently found your channel and it is awesome. I've started to learn Korean 2 weeks ago . I finished learning hangul and now I'm learning vocabularies and grammar. Your videos are helping me a lot. (As a 11 year old in year six)we are going to have SATS next month so it is hard to manage time to study korean. I was thinking about giving up so I needed this video. Your videos give me motivation to go on. 감 사 함 니 다!!

    First of all, I would like to say thank you for this amazing video. It helped me a lot. I started learning Korean about a year ago and enjoyed every moment. But I'm also a student and I have a job as well and sometimes I had to put my Korean studies away because I had more important exams at the university. And as you said, I lost my motivation and my passion for learning Korean. It was not about laziness, it was about losing my motivation. And it was hard for me to find out, what was the real problem. For me, it's hard not compare to myself to others, but after I watched your video, I think I can try. Thank you again, you gave my motivation back. I hope you also have the motivation and passion to learn Korean again!💕

    안녕하세요!! Your videos are some of the first I watched about learning Korean. You're also the reason why I chose to study with TTMIK. Since then I've come a long away and currently I'm practicing making my own type of Hangeul handwriting and being able to read other peoples, even though some I cannot understand. But thank you for this, I would not be where I am if I didn't see your video. 감사합니다!! ☺

    As always, thank you so much for sharing this! I'm still at a point where it wouldn't matter if I compared myself to anyone else, as they would no doubt be a LOT farther along than me anyway, but I just keep plugging along when I can. Some days are better than others, and some days are so hectic with work (and on call 24/7) that I'd rather just sit and watch a good rom-com K-Drama instead (though I have actually picked some things up from watching them, too!).
    I have learned so much from you, though, on good note taking and study practices, so not only are you light-years ahead of me in learning the language, but you definitely earned a trophy from me!! 💯

    What would you recommend to me when I want to read Hangul more fluent? I am able to read and romantize (is this right lol?) it, but I am really slow and have to think hard. I feel like I don’t need to learn vocabulary, when I struggle already at reading and „translating“ in Roman letters. How can I get better in seeing at one sight what word it is?

    • @Emmittstar
      @Emmittstar Год назад

      Don’t use romanization for reading. Only use it for help with pronunciation. U can make flash cards for the vowels and constants or used Duolingo just to learn hangeul

    • @Isamer0
      @Isamer0 Год назад +1

      @@Emmittstar Ah you get me wrong. I don’t use it for reading, I just want to say that I can „translate“ it in roman letters. I basically can read and write Hangul, but I’m just so slow to read it. I don’t know how to explain it sorry 😂
