4:10 Im not saying it on a wrong way, but that is just the perception of Buenos Aires. Buenos Aires is very white, yeah. But when you go to the rest of the country you see way more diversity in "skin colors". In other words, visually people in Buenos Aires is very European immigrant-like while the people in the countryside is more indigenous-like. Lot of people think that Argentina on itself is Buenos Aires when is very much the opposite.

I'm sure people told you Johnny but funnily enough the breach between the official rate and the "blue" rate is becoming closer so for those $100 you actually got less than what it could've been just 6 months ago, at one point the difference was almost 60% or more, i literally couldn't keep up with it even though i live here lol, i'm from Córdoba.
As for politics, you'll find mindblowing that the ones that love dictators are the equivalent to the democratic party in the US, yes, our left and the right was the one responsible for the dictatorship funded and empowered by the US.
Also, not sure if you're going to travel to other parts of the country but if you do, i would suggest going to the city of Salta Capital, by far the one that holds way more of the real native culture of the country as a whole, from foods to music, the story of Gauchos basically our cowboys, Mate, Empanadas and more. Tango is only something that represents Buenos Aires inmigrant history and culture and you won't see it anywhere else pretty much.

Absolutely good points mentioned. I've lived in Argentina before as a Western foreigner. It was curious to me how liberalism has really destroyed Argentina and yet this ideology is the dominant force down there. In Russia, liberalism also wreaked destruction until Putin took over and turned the country around. It amazes me that Argentines, en masse, still fall for and tout liberalism, hook, line and sinker despite the fact that economically and socially, liberalism has made Argentina a shell of its former self. Even the Peronists have been completely subverted and turned into a freak-show resembling nothing less than Western-style **minists and collectively, unlikeable, authoritarian liberal bullies.

Johnny, why do you pronounce gracias with a C? You are not a spaniard. In America, gracias and the c is pronounced like an s. Period .

Yes, Buenos Aires looks very nice, at least the city center. But Argentina's economy is in pretty bad shape (which is the norm!). The current inflation rate is around 250% (!!!), and over 40% of the population lives below the poverty line.

Another great video, Johnny! Also, I notice you pronounce thank you in Spanish as they do in Spain, such as 'grathias'. FYI: Only Spain pronounces it that way; the rest of Latin America (all of South America except Brazil, Central America, the Caribbean, etc.) pronounce it 'gracias' with the c sounding like an s. Enjoy the rest of your stay, and be safe!

Argetina is a long country from the norway like weather in the south , close to Antartica to the Subtropical north , next to Brazil, Buenos Aires is in the middle, with cool winters and hot and humid summer , just like georgia state
