From my travels in Argentina, I really preferred Cordoba and Mendoza over Buenos Aires by far, and much less expensive. If you can stay a month the prices on Airbnb drop by up to 50% - I found some very nice 2-bedroom apartments from $450 - $525 per month with full kitchen (stove, oven, microwave full fridge) and REALLY good WiFi. BTW Johnny if you want to check out an AMAZING and affordable country to stay in, I highly recommend COLOMBIA, specifically the northern part of the city of Armenia (although all three cities in the heart of the Coffee Triangle, Armenia, Pereira and Manizales) are the best imho!!!
Recommend to go watch Malambo, Argentine folk dance. It’s kind of like Spanish Flamenco, but mostly performed by male dancers and very macho in choreography style with much fancier footwork.
For me in my apartments a medium size load is $1.75, a full size load is two dollars, 48 minutes, $1.25 for the dryer. In Northern California Bay Area. if you go outside of my apartments, a full load could run up to three or four dollars a load, and dryers can go up to two dollars for one hour.

Johnny needed to stay longer in Argentina if he is paying those prices, maybe a few more weeks and then go to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil or visit some of the other nearby countries. No point going back to Ukraine this winter.
@@JohnnyFD Interesting, usually Argentinian Spanish makes it to the top of the list for hardest Spanish accents to understand after Chilean Spanish. To me it sounds a bit Italian.
Shitty run caravan park we had to live I while waiting a year for a rental in the housing crisis was $5: per washer load and $5 for dryer $10 staying with own camper $480 a fortnight thankfully we got a townhouse built in the 80s a home at last " the Not so lucky country- Australia 🇦🇺
Don’t forget to go to The Ateneo, the bookstore I told you about. It’s a must. I hope you keep enjoying your adventure in Buenos Aires. The weather seems to be pretty glorious so far. 👍
What female staying there would feel safe going into that basement alone to do her laundry? Also, when you air dry clothes in your room or house, they dry very stiff and wrinkled, then you have to iron them. Clothes come out of the dryer looking smooth and ironed by the heat. Johnny sounds so ignorant.
You need to correct the spelling in your title. It is BUENOS NOT BUNEOS. What is wrong with you? You can't even spell part of Argentina's capital's name correctly far less pronounce it. You don't know that GOOD in Spanish is BUENO as in ' NO BUENO' which people say when something is not good. Buenos is plural with an 's' because it is an adjective (Good) which has to agree with 'Aires' ( Air,Wind) which is plural!
ALL THE CUTS MAKE ME THINK THE PEOPLE WEREN’T TOO FRIENDLY
I think that's to avoid music royalties.
In the San Francisco Bay Area, $0.50 to $1 is typically enough for a dryer, but for a wash, you would need at least $3.25
That's cheap to dry! But I guess water is expensive.

Nicer than a hotel room at least.
So the Minnesota hat saved you lol. I have walked into a few glass doors at my mom's townhouse when i thought door was still open.
Welcome to Argentina Johnny
Despite económic issues etc Argentina is a pretty " chill " country free of religióus or racial strife. Enjoy your stay! 😊
Yes agreed!
When in Buenos Aires, do as the porteños do!
Some people might find this boring but I'm a nuts and bolts kinda guy. How do you get around? Language? Laundry? food shopping? etc..
I'm glad you enjoy these type of videos!
That airbag loops like college student accomodation . But totally suitable.

there isn't a point going back to ukraine. Gov there spraying some sort of chemicals on people, hearing this from multiple Ukrainians who live there.
It was a nice looking place not perfect but better than nothing
have a great stay in Buenos Aires thanks Johnny.☕🎸🇦🇷
Nah way better than college dorm.
@@rogertemple7193 hahaha For 30 dollars a night in a city like BA it is GREAT I would say
Please clean the lint filter after you are done with your laundry Johnny, it’s basically like not flushing.
It's not.
Housekeeping close the curtains to keep the room cool Johnny 👍🤗 great upload
Ah Buenos Aires
I guess that I am a boring person since I enjoyed this laundry video. Clean clothes rule.😂❤
Way to much detergent for a small load of washing suds galore ! Creepy area to walk at night to that laundry
Agreed, I didn't realize how much I used until I rewatched the video! Luckily that cheap deterrent wasn't very concentrated. 😂
Do you find it harder to understand the Argentinian accent over other Spanish accents?
I think it' actually easier somehow, maybe people in Argentina speak slower.

At least doing laundry there is good exercise!
Looks like a wonderful city
Why it’s so cheap to wash and dry in Argentina is because electricity is subsidized by the government.

If you LIVE there and not air bnb it. Im sure the laundry is explained. Going cheap means going cheap.
$6 Australian for 30 minute wash in laundromat
12 quarters to wash! 8 quarters to dry! rip off!
That's 5 bucks it's cheap really. He only paid 2 bucks
It cost 14 Swedish 🇸🇪 kronor jusing 2 washing machines or 7 kronor for one and dryer is included.
And in Sweden I heard you need to reserve the machine a week in advance. 😂
@@JohnnyFD No i just one day before jusing the washing machines and I pay my land lord in the end off month when i pay rent for The new month.
I have a Samsung droid 'thing', but never before have i seen a Samsung washer. Somehow, even the mundane is interesting in your videos.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Samsung Washing machines are very good actually. But the LG's are better. =)
In mesa az coin operated laundry is $2.00 washer $1.75 dryer.
Mosts places i haved had en suite washer drier

Try saying "bwaynas" in lieu of "bonas"....
Johnny, you gotta try the bbq at a rural roadhouse
I saw your Instagram story, welcome home to Ukraine Johnny!
