I have an AVS 2 on a 406 sbc of around 400hp. It is behaving exactly as you described, ie; it has a momentary lean stumble when I get hard on the throttle. The first time I tried to adjust the spring tension I didn't realize I needed to hold the adjusting screw while I loosened the set screw. As a result the spring immediately released all its tension so I lost my baseline. I have tightened it 2-3 turns from that point but the engine is still stumbling. Is there a baseline number of turns from which I can then begin adjusting? How much resistance should I feel when opening the air flap with my finger? Thanks for an advice you can offer.
I gave this company a insane amount of money a got a pile of a engine. The first engine I got the cam bolts fell out and it was destroyed. The next one had rocker noise and a oil pan leak. Sad company that sells dinosaur boat anchors. Get you a LS way lighter and cheaper.
Im sorry to hear about Courtney. My thoughts and prayers go out to your entire team. God Bless
