Berea is my #1 college choice and I was recently accepted in! I’m so excited! A school that offers the equivalent of a 4-year scholarship along with having a faculty that seems to truly support its students is exactly what I need for the career path I want to take. What’s even more exciting is that I committed two days ago, so I will officially be attending next year! I’ve watched your video about five times already and it’s made me even more thrilled to be living on a college campus. Great channel!

I’m so happy I found out about berea I applied last month and I’m hopping I get accepted I won’t know till mid to late February. I was originally going to go to msu until I found out how expensive it is but I’m so glad I found out about berea.

@@giovanaajeje6086 the school is tuition free because Berea has an endowment worth 1.2 billion (according to google). All students also have to work on campus but do get payed. There’s also fasfa, which is financial aid useful for those under the poverty line. So tuition-wise, Berea is free. I believe someone else said that they match the housing and such to ur income, so some students pay nothing. This is what I’ve gathered so I hope it helps!

There is a chapel on campus that i know has service on tuesdays as well as several churches in the town that the college provides the students transportation to on Sundays. We have winter and spring break which is about 2 weeks so you can go back home. We also have a thing called “reading period” where they cancel classes for 4 days before taking finals so students can study but usually people use it to go home if they live in country

It’s very competitive to get in just because a lot of people apply and there’s less than 2,000 students on campus. Just make sure your academics are really good and you express in your interview that Berea is in your top three choices for colleges and There is a nursing program
You are allowed to lock your door. I’m just too lazy to manually lock my door everytime I leave (I stay in an older dorm) so I always leave my door unlock. I’m not worried about anyone going in my room without my permission. Some dorms are old and you would need a key (they give you one) and some dorms the rooms automatically lock and you scan your ID to get in.

You are allowed to pick a roommate but you’re also given the option to let them pick a roommate for you (this helps with making new friends on campus). You are not allowed to have your vehicle as a first year unless you live more than 8 hours away or have a disability because the campus is really small and there isn’t a lot of parking space. But once you become a second year you can have a car but you’ll have to pay for a parking decal (those are the basic rules but since the pandemic they have restricted everyone from having a car even upperclassman. The only people allowed to have a car are people with a disability that requires them to use their car) and family visits are allowed but since the pandemic you’re not allowed to bring family to your room or inside any school buildings but you can be with them outside or at a restaurant

During a typical semester everyone will have a roommate unless you request a single person room. However, during COVID, everyone was given a room to themselves unless you requested to have a roommate
