Is this college suitable for someone who has been out of college for 10 years and is looking to enroll as a first year student. Or what would be that process? I do have dependents. What is the likelihood for a situation like this?
@@altayyerassyl3213 Just listing the achievements on your the resume is sufficient but you can include copies of documents and certificates if you wish. You WILL need transcripts for your secondary school records, of course. :)
hello I am trying to apply for Berea Psychology from Myanmar. My GPA in last semester become 3 because technical issues and cannot appeal to school because coup happened but overall GPA is 3.4. It is a combined GPA of matriculation exam, government school and Pre college program. The precollege program is not accredited but some universities accept I don't know if Berea would accept. My GPA would be above 3.6 if I take out my precollege GPA. My SAT score is 1200. I do have a very strong extra curriculum activities with work experiences in Psychology field but I am worried about GPA drop. It should have been 3.6 and above if I didn't have wifi issues. Do I stand a chance for Berea?
All admitted international students receive financial aid and scholarships that cover 100% of tuition, room, board, and fees for the first year of enrollment. In subsequent years, international students are expected to save $1,000 (US) to contribute toward their expenses. The College does provide summer jobs to international students so that they may meet this obligation. Accepted international students are also expected to pay a $50 (US) entrance fee and a $2,200 (US) deposit to confirm their enrollment. This deposit can be used by international students for certain expenses during their four years of enrollment. For students who are unable to pay all or a portion of the deposit, additional financial aid is available.
I heard Berea accept at least one applicant per country, is that correct or it may happen that applicants from certain country may not be eligible to apply to a certain year ? Thank you for considering my question!

We receive hundreds of applications each year from very well-qualified applicants from all over the world, and can enroll only about 30 new international students each year. Most Berea students earn at least a 1100 on the SAT or a 22 on the ACT. However, at Berea College, we have always been committed to a holistic assessment of a student’s potential and scores are not the only thing we look at.

You will pay a deposit of up to $2200 if you are admitted and wish to commit. This deposit can be used by international students for certain expenses during their four years of enrollment. The I-20 is released to those students who are admitted and have submitted their intent to enroll.

Thanks for your question! You can create your own resume and include it with the Application Packet that you will mail to the Office of Admissions.
