The Abrams is near and dear to my heart, notser. It was my work place and home for 18 years and 4 deployments. Its good that they have somewhat closely replicated the tank. FYI and a fact: The tank has 5 ballistic skirts (2 on the left and 3 on the right) with the right having an extra to protect the hull ammo stowage which has 6 rounds. The rest are in the semi-ready and ready racks. The tank can hold up to 40 (M1 and M1A1) and 42 main gun rounds (M1A2, SEP, SEPv2/v3) tanks. The only time I ever used an M1 without the ballistic skirts was at the National Training Center at Fort Irwin, CA.
Could you please try out the HSTV-L? I really want to play the vehicle but sadly I couldn't get access to the game and there haven't been any gameplay of it on RUclips yet. Thanks in advance!
I think the Chopper having the AC-130 at the start of this Alpha was more for the devs to try things out, perhaps it was an idea to counter enemy snipers and make up for its lower mobility. but i think it was too good on the Chopper since it gave too much intel and also took the Chopper out of the battle when it should be in the heat of things as often as possible. Maybe they could give it a similar ability like the Titan's B-52 airstrike (though that should probably be renamed to B1 Lancer strike) Maybe have it call in an A-10 Warthog for a strafing gun run or a drone strike.
Well the gunship is gone now, so now it's just a pretty good defender tank with a minigun for extra flavor. About the game modes: I can enjoy all three, but i find the bomb arming/defusing pretty tedious at times. It is a variant of standard battle with 5 rounds, with the bomb objective as a way to stop the game from become a camp-fest, but I would prefer a faster planting/defusing time. It's a little too slow for my taste currently.
I hate this nerf because instead of removing all gunship attack just reduce the damage of those ability it would make it more viable and make it such a way that it can't be used in start of match thats it Just like wows does for the ships like reducing the parameters
already all recorded before announced, just fun chat about agents and tactics. Nothing I say will be accurate after this Closed Alpha anyway, I just enjoy theories and strategy so always willing to talk about it
They could bring back standard battle, but just make it team deatmach, and maybe some randomized added objectives for, but so far its enjoyable, even game modes like bomb, usually not fan of s&d modes, but its fun here so far
Not sure how far along you are in the progression for the Chopper, but I think one of the best upgrades you can mount is the thermal view so that it synergizes with the smoke screen ability so that you won't be completely blind.
When I started playing the Titan, I was like ... what are these Chopper tanks? They are faster than me, have better armor than me, a better gun than me. And why the hell am I randomly taking damage from an invisible source right at the start of the match, getting tracked and forced to sit there helpless?
round after round after round of chopper nerfs. now he doesn't even have the AC130 ability anymore. which i think is fair enough. it made winning bomb matches impossible when you can harass someone trying to defuse or plant from any range, and all the free map intel it gave.
There was a nerf previous to this one on the Chopper. The aerial attack lasted something like 20+ seconds, which was a life time. The damage from it was something like 500-600 per rocket. Games were just full of choppers. It was to fast, its armor is angle and bounces everything, was crazy broke.
Much appreciating your vids on CW, question, I find that the M60 is unable to pen anything except another M60, is anyone else finding the same? have played WOT and Armoured Warfare for years,, so not new to this.
you need to hunt for weakpoints, rear and side will have less armor versus front. the cursor will show the part of the armor your gun can pen and just need to find the green area to shoot
from the front shoot the M1 Abrams at the gun since there's no gun mantles. can't knock out their gun tho. Or aim for lower hull plate if you can, but not likely to crit anything with shooting there
I know all this, I find that the gun on M60 is almost useless vs higher tech tanks unless I can shoot them in the ass. I don't have many of the upgrades yet, so maybe it will get better, and the slow turret traverse is just plain not realistic. I hope this game ends up as good as I think it can be, early days.@@Notser
Yes just like armoured warfare and WOT....but with M60 the gun really struggles, to the point where potential players will give up because they can't do damage.@@Notser

Not even 5 hours after release of this video it is outdated. Chopper does not have the gunship ability anymore.

He still does, what are you talking about? The damage ability was nerfed but the ability itself is still there.
