Thank you for sharing, Brian. I love the ice castle at the big waterfall. I live in tropical country, so watching the winter at the other side of earth makes me excited. Keep updating and can't wait for Aquascape next videos👍🏻

I’m looking to update my pond with an intake bay plus a larger stream. Would love to see you guys cover design tips for a good winter running pond (e.g jets, power heads, etc)

I would like to see the intake bay done also maybe over the winter it would make a good sandbox video.

Love it and glad to see some winter topics. I had a pondless waterfall installed this past fall and keeping it going through the ice cycles has been rough. I tried everything to keep the ice from forming at the base and draining the reservoir. Heat lamps worked good for me but finally caved in and shut it down last week.

Thank you for the elaborate explanation on how water features work in the type of brutal winters we have here Brian; I always wondered how damage is avoided and how the fish survive outside in water, considering we've gotten 50 below zero here 💧🥶

Great explanation Brian on how different water features react in their winter environments! We always like to over build our water storage basins in Ottawa, 🇨🇦 here for worst case ice build up scenarios.👊😉

To Brian and all the aquascape people this is insanely beautiful
    Love all your video's
Lots and lots of questions of how to keep my ponds going
We are zone 5 as well just north of Montreal so almost the same except a lot more snow
Just love to extend the time looking at my ponds

The "big" waterfall reminds me of the waterfalls at Starved Rock state park...on a miniature scale. The ice formations at SR are 100+ feet high and thick enough for ice climbers to scale.

I've had a pond longer then Brian's been alive.i use to bring the fish and plants in late fall. We had a early snow storm on October in 99.i could not bring them in.That spring I lost only one fish. Since then I leave them out. As long the pond has a hole in the ice everything will be o.k.

So much thank you Brian for this winter videos. You are my Big Guru. You showed me the way, the courage to start.
I LOVE winter springs bubbling under wonderful ice creations with white snow all around ... I am so much into this image, that I started to dig a small recreation pond this October.
By my own hands except the big hole (helped a 7 tons excavator)
A pond 18x18 feet , 7 feet deep, with wetland, small cascade stream right from it and negative edge at the end - but, this has only 1100 gal :-/ Now I am afraid this part is very very very insufficient! To my detritment I have it done, full of boxes and water in it and a little tentative cascade to see winter ice spells...
I am a Czech, South Bohemia, its winter here now, minus 39 degrees and its beautiful , I am terribly excited. 6 inches of new snow and water under ice, birds coming to dring water right under our window... Tank you , mister Brian :-)
