One of the best looking interiors of the c-segment. On the other hand, it's a shame that It's only allowed to have a 3 cylinder engine (and not the most reliable, either) in non-hybrid versions. Nice work! Regards from Spain.
@@Sevan59 I've seen lots of complaints in spanish forums. Many users were forced to change the engine due to a problem with the spark plugs, I think. Apparently, this issue was solved few years ago, but who knows. Peugeot is not the most reliable brand, anyway. I own one.
I must say Peugeot absolutely killed it with the look, first the new 208 and now the 308, its look is absolutely killer, i would take that over an Audi / Bmw / Mercedes in term of visuals
Am I wrong or did Peugeot still not make the display with speedometer faster? It still seems to be laggy as it already was in 2021. (for ex. in Peugeot 208) I drove some Peugeots with this engine and I'm sure I would never buy these cars with these engines. They are quick in low RPM range, but when you're speeding up in high RPM range they're just dead - just like a diesel and I also feel like the gas pedal is programmed to make you feel the car would be quick. In normal mode if you press the gas pedal on 80% and 100% it doesn't make any difference. The car speeds up the same no matter if you press the gas pedal on 80% or 100%. (that's what I felt driving a Peugeot 308 2021 with this engine). Or maybe I'm just used to cars with 200HP+ and that's why the car just feels slow af for me. There's no 2.0 BlueHDi available anymore for this car. Only a 1.5 BlueHDI that feels as dead as the 1.2 PureTech... But the design is really cool.
Peugeot for me is the best car brand, but i agree with you. 3 cylinder 1.2 engines are unrealible, slow, and not fun. For the agressive looking car they could do at least 200hp 2.0l petrol version, bcs its better, and modern.
@@regnam503 they fixed that long time ago. now those engines are almost in every stellantis car. You can read about VWs TSI 2.0 or fords ecoboosts and people suing ford for those. Even toyota has its problems

Worst manual transmission on the market ( Citroen /Peugeot ). Clutch relatively heavy, long throws ( it’s a truck lever ??) , gearing way too long. If you want to drive a good manual, go test a Mazda 3 and see the difference Also the 1.2 sends some vibrations to the gear lever and is not so smooth delivering the power. The 308 i would buy it just with the 1.5 diesel and with the Aisin 8 speed auto.
I fell in love with this car. I am 20 years old and i am saving all my money on one of those, 2022 and it has to be manual. Diesel or petrol idc. I hope to find a good deal next year when i will reach thw budget on 20/22k€ max. Watching this video gives me so hype, i cant believe i am going to ride this car next year. I was going at first for a new ford focus, but this is much more unique, interior wise is wonderfull. I do know the ford engine, i drove it, 1.3 diesel with 120hp, really good engine, can someone tell me how are those 2 peugeot engines? Does they give some reliability problems..? Cause there are lots of stories about french motors..
I don’t understand that small steering wheel covering dashboard totally. I think it is the major flaw of all peugeot lineup cockpits. As well as oversized left door plastic that make you sit all time with knees stick to each other, that’s not comfortable position in long trips or traffic jams.
What are all these videos about? About how you drove about the car of an incomprehensible virtual dream? What is the use of such videos? Explain to me please...
Peccato che lo sterzo sia troppo demoltiplicato: 3 giri di volante per una sterzata completa sono veramente troppi. Due giri è la demoltiplicazione perfetta. Oltre i due giri e mezzo non c’è più “gusto” a guidare….
Why can’t I find the manual version of this car anywhere on RUclips or the Peugeot website. Also if you can do more interior review like the entertainment system, the gauge cluster etc please. Because the car looks very nice inside, I just wish I could see more of the interior
From your POV we could barely see the speedometer at times, how was it like actually? A lot of people do say you need to sit inside a Peugeot in your normal driving position to see if it suits you or not
I reckon that as the GoPro sits on his head, it shows a picture from a bit higher. One can easily adjust their position to see through the top and the center part of the steering wheel.
I had an examination for driver’s license in this Peugeot and I can say that the steering wheel is unusually small if you havent driven this car at all that you can definetely see the speedometer.
