@@rmatvmc adding it to the motor, not the reservoir the motor would be dry until it got pumped into the engine, no?

Charles, you say 2.7 quarts, it's actually more like 3.7 quarts. I followed you advice (I never got a owners manual from my dealer), I hope I didn't hurt my engine. Just ran it at idle about 1 minute. Then checked with dipstick. You NEED to fix or delete this video....it's way wrong.

Thanks for bringing this up. Like we mentioned in the video, you need to fill it with oil until the level on the dipstick is in the operating range. There was initially a misprint in the owners manual that said 3.75 quarts. This specification has been corrected to 2.7 quarts in the online service and owners manuals. We verified this with Textron. -Charles

@@rmatvmc YES ***customers & do it yourselfers DO NOT ADD too much OIL @ HIGHER R.P.M's THE ENGINE WILL SMOKE !!! Terrifiyng to watch your new engine smoke ;(((( Also the dipstick is very difficult to see clearly. do it several times & adjust like said in this video. Thank You , Rocky Mountain ATV/MC!!!! For clarifying the oil amount. (2020 Arctic Cat wildcat XX)

Too many parts to remove just for an oil change. Lousy engineering on the part of Textron.
