Cool video, thanx for taking the time to show and test for us other vespa freaks😁👍 personally I love the sip road xl for T5 172. Working perfectly after 14k km.👍 Love your videos. Best regards vespa rider from Norway
How do these box exhausts compare to a large expansion exhaust? I had a Malossi 221cc 15 years ago, at the time there was only the Sito plus and the large expansion pipes, I had a Sip EVO, made a huge difference. I’ve been out of scootering for 10 years but just bought a PX 125 millennium again. Great channel.
sorry, cant tell, did buy it 2nd hand (but brandnew) should/could be this one that sck is selling. but it sounds really really horrible. my ears cant bare it
I could not ride with a SIP Road 3 as the manifold is not horizontal to the box but is welded on clearly pointing down (forwards) so front of curved tube smacks the ground at corners and all humps - my 120kg did not help. SIP Road 2 works fine on PX125 2015.
@@FreakMoPed8 thanks for the reply mate. Appreciate it. I've never heard of Magedella SLX8 exhaust. I've checked online it not easily found. How much does it cost?
Polinibox Be aware of the weak asso piston which is used in these kits. And did u properly set the cylinder Timings? 225 do come with low weired timings, adding more stroke doesnt make it better but often worse
@@FreakMoPed8 how do I know if it’s a weak asso piston. A friend of mine is building the engine and he’s done a few now so I hope he knows about the port timing but I will ask him now you’ve brought it to my attention. Thanks
Its sadly quite easy: ALL pinasco pistons, are weak and endangered to crack. (therefore pinasco cylinders are in general not the first or best choice: malossi sport 210 it is) if you even have the SUPER SPORT its even worse, as it has a 100% horizontal edge in the cylinder foot wich stresses the weak piston even more. when the piston dies, it can often kills the whole engine case. if its a super sport. Better exchange the cylinder as fast as possible. Check out my channel and fb page to find more and all info about it.
Ive got a stella/LML with a VMC super G 177 + SI 20/20. Currently have a SIP road 2 with the long chrome tips, looks cool but makes changing rear wheel a pain in the ass lol Would the sip road 3 bring much of a performance gain? or is there another pipe that would be a good upgrade from the road 2
@@FreakMoPed8 We have the malossi "power classic" box exhaust (M 3217791) for cheap here in the US. Is it comparable to the polini box? As mentioned I want something that would match my VMC 177 better than my current Road 2. Will likely go to a SI 24/24 as well. Whats the difference between the SI 24/24 E and G designations?

dare trying a newer one, ie sr3, u gonna be surprised, it swallows the older XL
@@FreakMoPed8 definitely gonna try another type or newer version when I need to change or my other engine build is done 👍😁
Very excited to see your video🤜🏾🤛🏾.. well done🙏! Best regards, right engine from Jakarta

Great video !! Do you ever compared Malossi vs Polini box on 177 or 210 cylinder?
no, no need. Not interesting, acc to diagrams i saw and its way louder, which is nogo for me. Maybe i am. Too old already 😄😉
@@FreakMoPed8 louder is good :D
Very cool video. I run a 166cc kit only. With a box exhaust upgrade I will see any difference? Or I have to upgrade more parts?
absolutelty u will. Box is just not really worth it with a original cylinder 125/200
The Polini box are made of stamped parts, which are seam welded with a roller spot welder
thx for the technical details 👍🍻
Nice! Which RR Box is featured in the test? RR Box "Street Race" or the "Road Racing V 2.0"?
sorry, cant tell, did buy it 2nd hand (but brandnew) should/could be this one that sck is selling. but it sounds really really horrible. my ears cant bare it
great job, gracias!

Thx for reply. i know, its sadly quite low. no idea why sip did do that as the older sr1, sr2 and xl are fine regarding this
I was surprised to see that the "RR Box" whilst maybe not as good as say the Polini it nonetheless wasn't too bad and seemed to perform quite well?
yes, its quite a good deal, sounds horrible tough..
Guess you can't have everything at that price point.....?!
Hi boss, looking forward for your advices. What box exhaust would you recommend for M244 reed valve. Viper XL, Polini and malossi box exhaust? Thanks
Or any other good box exhaust you would recommend.
Polinibox works very good. If ublike more reving its a megadella slx8 as recommendation

@@FreakMoPed8 for box its megadella slx 8. Should i buy the Bigbox XL Viper or Megadella SLX 8?
@@FreakMoPed8 i mean d SIP XL Viper by Nordspeed.
What do you think would be the best box exhaust for a pinasco 225 with a 62 mm pinasco crank but a standard 24 mm carb ? Thanks
Polinibox

Faco racing?
not gonna test it. good and reasonable priced, but not as good as polinibox or w1r and quite loud , what i heared and saw in diagrams

yes sr3 brings a clear power plus, hangs a bit low tough...
