John Matthias That issue comes up now and again on their forum and other places; their answer is consistent that they are a small team focused on developing and performance tuning the iOS version, they don't have the resources or time to develop for Android, which has the additional overhead of fragmentation across a myriad of devices with various variants of Android. Only a few of those have pen support, which is not native to Android. You can't get the responsiveness on Android you can on iPads because of the inherent input lag of Android. My brother is a musician and tablet programmer, and has similar issues with music software on Android and iOS. The input lag on Android is simply too great. I've seen nothing to justify the accusation by some that the guys behind Procreate are in collusion or paid off, that is just slander by Android users.
yes, since android market is just 2/3 of the bunch and it wouldn't be commercially logic to make app in android versions, lol.. People, this apps selling ipads, so they pay them not to developed other stuff. trust me.
Thank you for your thoughts. I have been researching this for quite a bit. The iPad Pro is quite expensive, so I'm trying to figure out the best alternative tablet bang for the buck.
Luis Vogt how was the experience ? i planning on buying the tab A 2016 with pen, but i am also considering getting the asus transformer (windows), both wt the same price.
finally gave in and purchased the S3 and I love drawing on it. Most of the time, I do not notice lag when I am drawing. I did experience it though occasionally, and I found out that clearing background apps solves it.
He's not really trashing anything. Ever since the move to QHD resolutions it hasn't really mattered whether the display is pentile or RGB. Unless of course you live your life looking at displays through magnifying glasses...
I was not implying that you were trashing the screen at all. Just wanted to upset my observation that the screen is not pentile. Thanks for the review; I'm a working artist and it was quite useful.
what is worth mentioning is the fact, that the s pens from older models, like Galaxy Note 10.1, are also working with S3 and vice versa. Moreover, older s pens also recognize tilt on Tab S3 and it's way more noticable when you use pencil in Samsung Notes, instead of pen brush. Overall, I think I'll stay with my Note for a little longer, but I will definitely purchase the new S pen just for the tip itself, cause it works wonderfully, can't wait for Staedler to release their s pen.
I love my 9.7 but as you have mentioned in the past, the screen resolution is lacking compared to an ipad. So I am really REALLY thinking of upgrading to the latest version, which clearly addresses that issue. My bamboo pen and 9.7 have allowed me to take my favorite style--namely pen and ink line work--to a tablet with virtually the same feel. And by the way--thanks for your vids!
I like your tablet reviews, there's so many! I feel like a lot of artists are really concerned with screen size (like deciding between the two iPad Pro sizes) I wonder what your thoughts on what the perfect size is.
I would love to see an artist review on those 2 in 1 laptops such as the HP Spectre x360 or the Lenovo ThinkPad P40 yoga...They are quite powerful, and way much cheaper than the Surface book or Wacom Mobile Studio... I wonder what an artist would think about the drawing experience on those devices...
iyadart I own a Spectre x360 and the stylus support was terrible. Lines broke easily and pressure detection was way off. The same stylus worked fine on other tablets like an Asus tablet, it's just how HP implemented the digitizers. HP dropped Synaptics stylus support from newer models for a reason.
The MIIX 510 is pretty interesting device but I am looking for a mobile alternative to my workstation, thus 16GB is the least I can survive with handling heavy 2D&3D tasks. Unlike the Surface or the Wacom Mobile Studio Pro, The MIIX line doesn't offer 16GB RAM option yet. Otherwise, it is a clear winner!
Same here. I was originally thinking that I can use the s pen on a Galaxy Tab S2 but after doing a bit of research, I found that the s pen works on "An electromagnetic field is generated from a circuit behind the screen" which the Tab S2's screen doesn't have I believe. Well, there goes that idea out the window. 😒😒
great review. just for the record, the capacitive buttons can be disabled in accessibility settings. very useful if you're planning on staying on the same app for a while.
Just like ehsan said, if you haven't already you may want to like at artflow again. I did an update and was a little astonished. Thought to myself, huh, they basically just cloned procreate for Android. It might not have all the current functions of procreate but it seems like they're definitely trying to capitalize on their market for Android.
I have to agree. Artflow is really nice, as is Infinite Design and Infinite Painter. As far as this particular tablet goes, I'm not sold on it just yet. It's $730 with the keyboard for an android device. The Tab A 10.1 seems like a better deal at this moment, especially since you can get those between @$200-300.
+Rebelismo I'm still rockin the note pro 12.2. I was thinking I would have to upgrade to an iPad pro apple pencil setup but the system update and artflow update had breathed new life into it.
This is a very good and honest review. The aspect of the S-Pen and the general tablet from an artist's point of view is pretty much spot-on. One thing you miss, did writing on the edges of the screen improved? The S-Pen is a Wacom EMR tech and writing on the edges is usually wonky... I wonder if that improved.
Yeah, I agree. Brads presentation is funny, and engaging. I just purchased a new Tab S3 from NewEgg for $465 CAD - about $345 USD. That's darn near half price, so I'm pleased with the price. I hope I'm pleased with the tablet. >Charlie
5:19 yes I definitely agree with you and sometimes you got for a little disappointing especially when I'm trying to kind of slippery I also can't animate well on this thing and it has little cracks on one side
the resolution "QXGA" means 1536 x 2048 px and not the subpixel structure... And actually the Tab S3 uses a normal RGB matrix. Smartphones and the last Tab S2 8.0 uses PenTile but the Tab S2 9.7 and Tab S3 does not.
Exactly. I own both a Samsung and Apple tablets and they are literally the same, except Apple is overpriced and very limited, so I will stay with Samsung from now on.
Hey brad there are these little rubber things that you can by and slide it on a pen to make it thicker and there squishy. Just a little thing that might help idk where to find them though
great review! I've been wondering if you got to review hybrids? For instance the latest yoga book seems pretty cool to draw in, the price is similar, the design is different, since you draw in the keyboard (it'll make sense, I swear) and has an attached screen, although you can draw in the screen, but the pressure levels are better in the keyboard. I haven't seen any artist's review yet though... I hope my wording is ok... It sounds confuse, I know...
This is the shit that's annoying about Crapple people. As soon as Apple do it, everyone forgets that Android has been doing it for years. The note pro 12.2 cane out in 2014, which is way better than the Liepad. But then Crapple comes out with the Apple pen with their liepad and everyone gets amnesia and forgets that Android did it years ago
It's even worse than that. The first android tablet with a stylus with palm rejection and pression sensor was the Note 10.1 from 2012! It's been about 5 years ago that you could draw on a screen, without having to be bankrupty because of a Wacom Cintiq LOL
Great video, I've got a Samsung Galaxy Tab A and ended up getting an iPad Pro. I see you've got a link to your Udemy course so have just bought that and looking forward to following that and getting to grips with Procreate.
Unfortunately I can't find my Galaxy Note 10.1 charger since my wife cleaned up, but it makes me want to try my art apps out again. Not that I expect much on this old thing. I originally had an iPad 4, and it got me interested in a tablet for drawing, since my Wacom has me tied to a desk looking up at a screen while drawing & painting on an empty grey slate. The iPad wasn't ideal without a stylus, but found Procreate and other great art apps. I got the Galaxy Note 10.1 as a present, and tried out all the apps mentioned here's well as others like ArtFlow, bought the full apps, but was left disappointed, not just because the dinky stylus that it comes with is not ideal for drawing, since I'd happily buy a good 3rd party Wacom stylus if the tablet worked out. The Android apps just seemed immature by comparison, but most importantly, I didn't like the brushes systems or the lag. As an overall tablet, it paled in comparison to the iPad for a number of reasons. I liked the Google store though, the Apple App Store still leaves a bit to be desired. ArtFlow was one of the most promising apps, as was Corel when it came out, which from memory was a direct steal from ArtFlow, including the quirks. I gave up on using a tablet for art, but occasionally used Procreate on the iPad for figure drawing classes. Then came the iPad Pro, and it all changed. I can draw and paint all day on this thing. I'd love to be able to compare what Android, read Samsung, tablets have to offer these days, but I don't have the funds to burn. From what I've seen in the Samsung store previously, stylus support is simply a Samsung layer which doesn't have good system-level support across all apps; writing and art apps have to be made for it. Their lack of updates for their old tablets, even after severe security patches released by Google, leaves me cold on Samsung though. My Galaxy tablet is still susceptible to exploits like Stagefright. A Google search showed Samsung only every gave my tablet one minor update before abandoning it.
Do you even tried Staedtler Noris Digital? It is like a wood pencil as a tablet pen. I want to know from an artist if this product is a good one or not.
Here we are, nearly a year later. Looks like current prices are around $400 used for the S3 now. Apple just announced that their next (non pro) iPads will work the the Apple Pencil which means the price on both sides will have gone down. This decision is tough! Pick up used S3 now, wait a few months for a cheaper iPad + Pencil. Or something like the highly rated/cheap XP-Pen Artist15.6 for $400-500 (but this has to be connected to a computer - different sort of device)
I'm not sure I believe the Apple pencil rumors, we'll have to wait and see what they announce at their event this week I could be wrong. For me Android is in a distant 3rd place because the software isn't anywhere near as good as it is on the desktop or on the iPad.
Thanks for the reply! After all my looking around today I saw a deal on a Monoprice 'display'. While it'd be nice to have the option of being portable, I couldn't pass up the sale. New with free shipping, it should be here in a few days! :-D Going to have to re-arrange the desk a bit to fit it; and I'm assuming it'll do just fine as a second monitor when I'm not drawing on it. I tried to search your videos to see if you reviewed it but didn't see any. This is the one: www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=21825
hey dude go into the software settings for input method: pen. its impossible for the palm to make a gesture or select something. well atleast it never happened to me
My mom bought that but I used it more than her.. That is until she started to use it more.. Now I'm using the Wacom Intuos Draw but I miss using the Samsung tab.. Its portable and very good.
I have this too. Is there a way to turn off the pen button? It's annoying! Also the pen would have been nicer if it's round. The apple pencil is better but charging it daily is a bummer. Nice review.
I'd been watching all these android videos and just recently bought a note 10.1" 2014 edition on ebay for under $200 USD (not an uncommon price there for good condition used. ) Its a great option for people on a budget. its got its quirks with various programs maybe because its an older android firmware but I'd pick it over an off-brand drawing monitor any day (specifically UGEE.) I wish it had the features Brad mentioned about Ipad though, those sound really fantastic...The things I'd give to cintiqify my tablet
I still have the super old Galaxy Note 8 and I find the size of the pen to be perfectly fine :) I guess that's due to my small hands, but I don't get tired after holding it for many hours (sometimes more than 6). I use 2 apps almost exclusively: Infinite Painter and Medibang Paint. I've been able to create some pretty great pieces, I don't think the software is holding me back personally. I've never had an iPad but just from my experience with demo devices in stores, I can tell that iOS has drawing apps of a MUCH greater quality. If only iPads weren't so damn expensive.
I love Artflow, has lots of features like layer and brush blending option, Lasso select move resize, varies brushes with options (flow, min max size, spacing, etc). Also yea I still doodle on my Galaxy Note 3 phone, no lag. Recently got the Galaxy Tab S3 and love it! I don't care about doing the Tilt shading thing for just doodling on the go and inking that's not really necessary. If I want to do that kind of stuff I will work in photoshop with my Wacom. I don't know why he was getting so much lag on the tab S3 I didn't get that kind of lag unless using a humongous brush at super high resolution. For normal inking and sketching I didn't notice lag at all.
Nice review, but I'm kinda worried about the screen burn in after drawing for hours since it's an AMOLED screen... Any artists have any problems with the screen? I'm curious about getting this tablet for drawing and multi media consumption.
the 9.7 ipad pro is going for 599, granted it is without the keyboard and pen, this video was mostly about the tablet itself, though are you planning on doing a comparrison video, if not which drawing pen did u get a better expirience out of
Thank you for this review i couldnt find a proper review that i would understand as much as this because everyone is using this technology language and im not that good with technology i am just looking for a paf to get started with my digital art because copy markers are expensive and on a tab i could just save it without wasting so much paper So this review was actually helpful Thanks :)
Corel Painter for PC has amazing tilt support, maybe Painter Mobile does too? Haven't tried yet as I don't have an Android tablet, but I'm curious. Can you please also do a review of XP-Pen Artist 16?
Brad there is also the new lenovo Yoga book Android versión, for what i have been seen its also a pretty good draw experience but in diferent way. I really like if you review it.
Hi! Sorry this is unrelated to this video's topic, but I figure your most recent upload has the best chance of you reading comments. I find that I make heavy use of Photoshop's pen tool when creating art, and I want to get an ipad pro soon. I don't think procreate has a pen tool, but correct me if I'm wrong! Are there any apps you've encountered that have a pen tool that behaves similarly to Photoshop's? I don't need a pen tool that's vector, I just want something I can manipulate the path of and then just fill the path I made with color.
I have bad news for you, there isn't much that I have found on the iPad with a good pen tool. There are some basic vector programs out there, but I'm not a big fan of them, they are to simplistic and moving art from one of them to something like Procreate is rough.
Ah yes, I figured if there even were an app with a decent pen tool, there could still be a battle of later wanting to move the art into procreate. Well thanks a bunch for your response, I reckon I'll just get in the groove of a slightly different workflow when the time comes!
Great video Brad, thanks. Would love you to see you review a Samsung Chrombook Pro (or plus) - they comes with an active stylus & they can run android apps too.
hey Brad, what about drawing resolution, I have a tabA and I find that I can't go larger than 2k pages on most apps (some of them even crash). can you draw on a high res image on the tab 3? I wonder how big the image can get on the iPad pro as well. thanks!
Amazing video. I love your videos. Would this one be better than tab a with s pen ? SM p205 version. I mean the pen pressure. I buyed and im waiting it arrives but i will have 7 days to test... Tab s3 is selled only used here and 3 months of warranty instead of 1 year from tab A that i buyed.
My big question is, will you keep it? I love mine but that hefty price kills me. Today I drew some display concepts for work on it in Medibang and it works great. I ghhink i just need to keep using it to justify how great it is. But the cheap guy in me is torn.
Probably not, it's going to go up on Ebay in a few weeks so I can spend that money on the next product I review. I really like it but it's not going to replace my iPad.
Nicely done sir!!! I don't suppose the Wacom link adapter would let you connect the tab s3 to a laptop would it ? laptop mini display port to USB-c Wacom link, usb-c Wacom link to usb-c tab s3.. something like that ?
constantinos schinas I tried it out, it's not bad but it doesn't actually let me see my computer screen on my tablet. I only see a black background. is the paid version different ?
Hello Brad! Thanks for another fantastic review. I'm really curious to know if I can use the galaxy tab s3 to create hi-rez artwork via the Sketchbook app..? I currently use the old galaxy note 12.2 and the even older galaxy note 10.1. And while I enjoy drawing on them, they don't allow me to work at 300 dpi. I would like to find an Android tablet that will allow me to draw my comic pages in at least 300 dpi, and I'm wondering if the galaxy tab s3 would work well for that purpose. Also, if you have any other suggestions/devices that would work, please let me know. Thanks!
It's hard to do an apples to apples comparison because the software is so different from Android to the desktop. Just going by my gut reaction the Intuos Pro Pen feels better, but also the software on the desktop is so much more refined. Plus I really really like the texture on the Intuos, that changes the drawing feel a lot. But this is still pretty good.
I have the Note 10.1 (2014, 32g) seeing the specifics the have better processor but the screen resolution is a little less, According to the specifications in some pages. I do not remember if the note 2014 will have Amole but the question would suit the tablet change right now? Or do I wait for a stronger change to another model? Considering that I try to do artwork.... i love the ipencil but i don't like iOS.
about the palm rejection, i think i'd try to see if i could just completely disable the touch screen so only the s pen could interact with the screen. Is this possible to do?
He DW if you use Infinite Painter or Arfflow you can define what your touch does over the screen, you can disable it completely but you can set 1 finger touch for erase or smudge, two finger for zoom etc. The best thing about IP I discovered recently is that if your palm touches the tablet before your pen tip that does not leave a blotch over the screen, that mistake gets erased as soon as the pen tip touches the screen so that is fantastic and prevent little accidents if you opt for active finger touch.
You have to put an ugly matte plastic screen cover on iPad Pro to make using the stylus comfortable? That's a deal-breaker. Galaxy Tab S3 doesn't need that, so you can appreciate it's gorgeous AMOLED screen.
I don't think we fully appreciate how funny Brad is. That intro was hilarious lol
Mike Royer ikr
Wow - surprised by the verdict. I wish Procreate would take its name seriously and multiply onto other platforms.
I talked to them , they said no , now it's better for us to assume Apple payed them sh!t load , I guess Procreate sells iPad Pro !
John Matthias That issue comes up now and again on their forum and other places; their answer is consistent that they are a small team focused on developing and performance tuning the iOS version, they don't have the resources or time to develop for Android, which has the additional overhead of fragmentation across a myriad of devices with various variants of Android. Joseph Mcqueen yeah this is why I bought a ipad. Apple seems to have more of a creative bank in apps. Been using them forever.
yes, since android market is just 2/3 of the bunch and it wouldn't be commercially logic to make app in android versions, lol.. People, this apps selling ipads, so they pay them not to developed other stuff. trust me.
Procreate has a custom engine built and optimised for Apple SOCs. It would be too much work to Port it to Android while keeping performance.
Thank you for your thoughts. I have been researching this for quite a bit. The iPad Pro is quite expensive, so I'm trying to figure out the best alternative tablet bang for the buck.
The galaxy tab a with s pen 2016 is pretty good too, got one last year for writing and don't regret it.
Luis Vogt how was the experience ? i planning on buying the tab A 2016 with pen, but i am also considering getting the asus transformer (windows), both wt the same price.
Link?
Great review Brad. I didn't even plan on getting a galaxy, but these reviews help me stay honest and not feel trapped by Apple.
just a quick point out, the brightness sensor he mentioned is up the top in between the camera and the samsung logo 1:43
dysprosium bbbbbvbbb
finally gave in and purchased the S3 and I love drawing on it. Most of the time, I do not notice lag when I am drawing. I did experience it though occasionally, and I found out that clearing background apps solves it.
The display is full RGB stripe, not pentile. You can see this easily if you use a magnifying glass or zoom lens to take a photo.
Oh man, did I screw that up? I did a Google search and that's what I cam up with. Guess you can't trust what you find on the internet.
Thanks Aaron for setting the record straight. Brad is trashing the reputation of Galaxy Tab S3 by mentioning pentile screen.
He's not really trashing anything. Ever since the move to QHD resolutions it hasn't really mattered whether the display is pentile or RGB. Unless of course you live your life looking at displays through magnifying glasses...

Oh really! was it the recent 2017 model? I thought it has the same N-trig pen technology found on the Microsoft Surface :(
Now that these are old and used.... I'm pretty sure the S3 is 100x cheaper than the ipad pro
I think for the price I appreciate my Tab A
nihnox we both have da same tab 😂😂
Same here. I was originally thinking that I can use the s pen on a Galaxy Tab S2 but after doing a bit of research, I found that the s pen works on "An electromagnetic field is generated from a circuit behind the screen" which the Tab S2's screen doesn't have I believe. Freak Zoid you can buy a bluetooth pen like wacom bamboo pen
i have the same tablet and am watching this video on my galaxy tab a

Galaxy Tab S3 with 232gb and stylus: 677 dollars
Apple products are way overpriced!
Dave Satay "it's all about the software" didn't know mobile software was worth$233
Now we have s4 for this price and it's amazing
Exactly. I own both a Samsung and Apple tablets and they are literally the same, except Apple is overpriced and very limited, so I will stay with Samsung from now on.

the ipad pro just has that laminated pixel thing, which makes it feel the tip of the pen is on the pixels.
Did it years ago, but not as good
I really dig your way of reviewing art supplies!
cant wait to see how this pen will do on the galaxy book window tablet. really keeping my fingers crossed
Great video, I've got a Samsung Galaxy Tab A and ended up getting an iPad Pro. I see you've got a link to your Udemy course so have just bought that and looking forward to following that and getting to grips with Procreate.
Can u do a drawing video on the s3
Beauty with Unique he did
Brooklyn the sensor is right next to the the front camera
God i love this guy. he doest take everything so serious like other snobby professional artist. he's just a guy who's looking to draw.
Unfortunately I can't find my Galaxy Note 10.1 charger since my wife cleaned up, but it makes me want to try my art apps out again. Not that I expect much on this old thing.
This Guy seems like an older version of Pewdiepie but actually helpful and less annoying.
Could you try the app called IbisPaint? and does it compete with Procreate
i dont think so by covering your hand on the sensor would change the brightness.. seriously it will measure the entire room! and I already test it!
Going to have to re-arrange the desk a bit to fit it; and I'm assuming it'll do just fine as a second monitor when I'm not drawing on it.
I tried to search your videos to see if you reviewed it but didn't see any. This is the one: www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=21825
You can use game mode to block the recent and back screen
hey dude go into the software settings for input method: pen. its impossible for the palm to make a gesture or select something. well atleast it never happened to me
My mom bought that but I used it more than her..
I'd been watching all these android videos and just recently bought a note 10.1" 2014 edition on ebay for under $200 USD (not an uncommon price there for good condition used. ) Its a great option for people on a budget. its got its quirks with various programs maybe because its an older android firmware but I'd pick it over an off-brand drawing monitor any day (specifically UGEE.)
I wish it had the features Brad mentioned about Ipad though, those sound really fantastic...The things I'd give to cintiqify my tablet
What??!! The Galaxy Note 8 is out already??!! 😲😲 😄😄😄
Anna OwO wow u have the Note 8? 😂😂
XxKazxX xoxo Note 8.0
yup. i concur
Really good review man. Would be great if you did one for the tab s4 and also compare apps android apps with the ones on ipad pro.
I think the sensor in question is the camera
whats with all the pixelation at 2:34 though?
Who is considering buying one in 2020?
Nice review, but I'm kinda worried about the screen burn in after drawing for hours since it's an AMOLED screen... Any artists have any problems with the screen? I'm curious about getting this tablet for drawing and multi media consumption.
the 9.7 ipad pro is going for 599, granted it is without the keyboard and pen, this video was mostly about the tablet itself, though are you planning on doing a comparrison video, if not which drawing pen did u get a better expirience out of
Brad your hair is magnificent!
Thank you sir!
what about their staedtler pen? it looks different
Why does the stylus skip _ _ on some parts of the screen
sensor is at top of tablet next to the Samsung logo good vid
I have to agree, the price difference between this one and the tab a is unreal
I am getting one soon.. loved it!!!
Thank you for this review i couldnt find a proper review that i would understand as much as this because everyone is using this technology language and im not that good with technology i am just looking for a paf to get started with my digital art because copy markers are expensive and on a tab i could just save it without wasting so much paper
So this review was actually helpful
Thanks :)
I made the jump to ipad from android. It made me sad, but the big factor for me was screen size. 10 inches for me is too small to do any art on
why don't you review the picasso tab or the tango tab
I want animation app stock app in tablet ...i didn't now why Samsung still ignore animations apps
will you be reviewing samsung galaxy book?
Do you have a link for the ipad Pro matte screen protector?
Corel Painter for PC has amazing tilt support, maybe Painter Mobile does too? Haven't tried yet as I don't have an Android tablet, but I'm curious.
Can you please also do a review of XP-Pen Artist 16?
Brad there is also the new lenovo Yoga book Android versión, for what i have been seen its also a pretty good draw experience but in diferent way. I really like if you review it.
I know this is a bit off topic but which tablet do you think is better for taking notes?
Why don't you review the Lenovo Book Andriod Edition?
Does the galaxy tab A has the same lag as the S3 tab or has more then the S3 ?
Still waiting for an app like duet display or Astropad for Android though
Nice video 👌👌
Is it good for professional work?.. and higher resolution artworks .With 150 - 200 dpi
this or the surface pro 3 for drawing ??!
Can you please do a Samsung galaxy book 12 review?
Which drawing app is the best for this tablet do you think?
Really nice video, congrats!
You have to do a review with the STAEDTLER Noris Digital stylus for this Tab!
But how does the Tab S3 compare with the 10.1 Tab A?
Better battery life than the Tab A?? You sure?
Great video Brad, thanks. Would love you to see you review a Samsung Chrombook Pro (or plus) - they comes with an active stylus & they can run android apps too.
Hey, i know i'm 1 year late. But can you draw in Vector on Android ?
hey Brad, what about drawing resolution, I have a tabA and I find that I can't go larger than 2k pages on most apps (some of them even crash). can you draw on a high res image on the tab 3? I wonder how big the image can get on the iPad pro as well. thanks!
Amazing video. I love your videos.
Would this one be better than tab a with s pen ? SM p205 version.
I mean the pen pressure.
I buyed and im waiting it arrives but i will have 7 days to test...
Tab s3 is selled only used here and 3 months of warranty instead of 1 year from tab A that i buyed.
Wich stylus do you use in this review? only the s-pen? Thank you!
Brad Colbow Can I ask if you do much drawing on the go? Or will you lean on your Tab A or a sketchbook?
Can I draw with the Apple pen on this ?
Hello ! I see that you had test the samsung galaxy tab A 10,1 with s pen. Wich one is the best to draw ? :)
Which application did he using for drawing..?
Nicely done sir!!! I don't suppose the Wacom link adapter would let you connect the tab s3 to a laptop would it ? laptop mini display port to USB-c Wacom link, usb-c Wacom link to usb-c tab s3.. something like that ?
AC AC there are some apps that can do that, search the Google Play Store, virtual tablet etc.
constantinos schinas I tried it out, it's not bad but it doesn't actually let me see my computer screen on my tablet. I only see a black background. is the paid version different ?
Can one use the Galaxy Tab S3 and iPad Pro to navigate around a laptop and also draw directly in let's say, Photoshop and Illustrator?
Reuben Abel no
Thanks!
Besides the software, which pen do you prefer? Do you think this wacom tech is anywhere near the quality of the intuos pro pen?
It's hard to do an apples to apples comparison because the software is so different from Android to the desktop. Just going by my gut reaction the Intuos Pro Pen feels better, but also the software on the desktop is so much more refined. Plus I really really like the texture on the Intuos, that changes the drawing feel a lot. But this is still pretty good.
I guess we will have to see how the galaxy books hold up! But likely, it will be hard for them to beat the studio pro pen.
Thank you for your review, it really helps me to decide what tablet to buy! Btw, what app are you using, sir?
Have you tried to draw on the s2?
I have the Note 10.1 (2014, 32g) seeing the specifics the have better processor but the screen resolution is a little less, According to the specifications in some pages. I do not remember if the note 2014 will have Amole but the question would suit the tablet change right now? Or do I wait for a stronger change to another model? Considering that I try to do artwork.... i love the ipencil but i don't like iOS.
does this device offer palm rejection for drawing? or only during note taking?
have you tried painter pro and artflow pro
on android i got it on my note 8 soo amazing,
they are compareable to procreate for sure
thank you...but can you tell me what kind of pen fits my Samsung tab s2 for sketching & drawing apps..!!!
about the palm rejection, i think i'd try to see if i could just completely disable the touch screen so only the s pen could interact with the screen.
Does photoshop work on this?
You have to put an ugly matte plastic screen cover on iPad Pro to make using the stylus comfortable? That's a deal-breaker.
Galaxy Tab S3 doesn't need that, so you can appreciate it's gorgeous AMOLED screen.
