    Great video. I just did my 02 sensor. I have a 2001 TT 225. I removed the cross bar, but not the turbo pipe. Easy fix

    Check engine comes on after about 50 miles with no error code. I reset it and it comes on again after 50 to 100 miles. Engine runs fine, I changed the gas cap, and to avoid a large dealer's bill I'm going to attempt the upstream O2 replacement first, then the downstream if the CEL comes back on. 2001 TT, 225 HP Quattro. Thanks for the video....

      Strange it's not giving any code, maybe try a laptop with software if you're using a Bluetooth obd2 reader, it may show a code then. Both videos there to help 👍🏻

    Hi great video. Can you drive the car temporary with the 17511 code? Also any idea why they fail so often? I'm always changing mine it seems and they're expensive

    • @33gall
      @33gall  2 года назад

      Yes, you can drive as long as you want, however you will get poor mpg and you could destroy your cat.......if you have one 😉. If you buy cheap ebay/euro car parts one they will fail. Its another one of those things you need to buy oem or genuine bosch Unfortunately.

      @@ayaanbretmitchell9830 I'd check for cracked pipes, below manifold, 'hockey puck' pipes and the Turbo Inlet pipe, very common for them to split/go soft. If they are they'll need replaced.

    need help with the P1128 code. could this fix it?

    • @33gall
      @33gall  2 года назад +1

      Possibly, it could mean that the pre-cat oxygen sensor is bad, there is a leak in the intake or that the MAF is on it's way out.

    • @maxmason1418
      @maxmason1418 2 года назад

      @@33gall ive had the maf done a few times since i got the car quite a few years ago. any way i could diagnose the other two without the help of a shop?

    • @33gall
      @33gall  2 года назад

      Genuune bosch maf? These cars font like cheaper parts, especially electronic. Leak in the intake is easy, just check all boost pipes for splits/soft ones. If you know anyone with vcds/vagcom you can get digital real-time info on the maf and sensor.
