I love the coziness of this little space - seems like the kind of place you could work for hours without distractions. It is absolutely spotless, I refuse to believe it’s this clean on the average day! 😂
some producers just want a lot of stuff and they think that it will help them make great music, but it's not. it's what's in your head first of all, then you don't need too much to make good electronic music. buy a few machines and learn each machine, push it to the max and you'll see what you can do
Nice tour! I am also totally in love with the TR909. Bought (and soldered it myself) a really nice Steda SR-909 replica a year ago. Really cool project and great looks and sound!
She had some good nuggets of wisdom in this. Before dropping loads on kit, really know what it is you want to make, the aesthetic, character of the type of music and research what’s used to get that vibe. Get yourself to a decent level of sound design, synthesis and music theory. Know scales and key and be able to play a bit also. You do not need hardware to make great music but if you are going to start going down the money pit rabbit hole, know what you want, why you want it and know how to use it to a decent level before hand.
It would be really cool to see Cinthie do an 'Against the Clock' type video, where she shows us how to make a track. I'd love to learn from an expert what goes into a house track.
I would totally be up for it but unfortunately they are not doing them anymore due to too many trolls around. Maybe you heard about how people were hating on Lady Starlight‘s against the clock? So yeah, thanks to all the idiots for stopping that amazing format. You all rock 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
@@cinthie6025 That's a shame. I hadn't heard of any controversy, but I did notice that the comments were generally turned off, so I assumed there was a reason for that. There are far too many jealous/frustrated man-boys around. Lady Starlight's Against the Clock is one of my favourites, I watched it again a few days ago, for probably the 3rd or 4th time.
@@RogerWarszawayes it s a shame and sometimes i wonder if those frustrated guys do the same with their wifes / daughters. But probably no other person wants to hang out with them , so they don t know how to behave or get social with other people 🤷🏻♀️
@@cinthie6025 I assure you they do (if they are lucky enough to even have a wife). We should band together to teach those little boys a lesson, the German way ;) That will surely turn them into nice little helper pets, happy to do all the heavy lifting and dusting off in the studio!
I love your studio Cinthie, tell me what mixer you use or interface, you forgot to mention the casio and the kawai which are also adorable drum machines
Been thinking lately I'd really like to have something similar to Push to make writing music with my (tiny, little humble 😜) setup of synths & drum machines a much more hands on experience. I honestly don't ever see myself going fully "DAWless" but something like that, MPC etc I feel that'd be a nice workflow to get into some day & bring even more inspiration
One of the best German house DJs/producers, Record shop owner and mother all at ones. To everyone hatin…you’re pathetic and don’t know what you talk about. Cinthie is a OG.
Thanks my dear. Luckily i m Old enough to not care about people hating. I did my research and it s to 99 percent old and grumpy white guys that once raved in 1963 😂😂😂but they are too funny😂
I actually bought and read that very book while serving time in prison 😂 I went in confused by synthesis and the workings of basically any synth and by the time I was set free, I pretty much knew my way around a synth without ever laying hands on one. Everything happens for a reason as they say.....whoever they are.
Same here, read a book on synthesis (among countless other books of course, a lot of time on your hands...) when I served my prison sentence of 2,5 years from rape. I since have had a therapist and have worked on the sexual perversion side of things. Always loved rave music and really took into the hobby of playing with synths, and I must say I love it with an open heart and mind and it really soothes the soul! Peace love and unity!😊
@@cinthie6025 I see you using the zen delay. I bought one and for the life of me I really can’t understand how nearly everyone else doesn’t go crazy with the Erica Synths acknowledged 2k sine whine/tone of the filter and how the resonance feedback breaks the stereo linkage. Drives me crazy (I make dub techno mostly).
Love Cinthie and her Elevate shop👏👏👏 Tnx for bringing attention to her!
best producer right now, clean, simple, straight, positive, functional but musical, vinyl masters sound kick ass
I'm always drooling when I see Cinthie in her studio. Thanks for the tour, Cinthie!!

Yeah sounds pretty good to me.
Thanks guys 🎉
Her joy is infectious as hell.
It’s dope to see cinthie getting the spotlight from RA. She’s great and she’s truly a rad person.

Brilliant, really love these ones.

Danke Dir 😊
LOVE YOUR SETUP ...!!!!!
Thank you 😊
beautiful studio and great energy.
Can't wait to see you live in Cologne on 21st April :)
Amazing! Thanks for this, RA! Next time let her mess around with some of the equipment while recording.
Oh but i dit, bit not everything was used for this. But well there is a lot more on my insta
Brilliant mate!! 💚
Ahhh, thank you so much, this was great! Could've been a liiiiitle longer tho. 😅
She’s seems so awesome 🖤🤘
Thanks for sharing your studio and gear !! Your awesome !! How did you rack your mother 32 ?
i had this experiences. i quit in 1999 and sold some years later all my hardware midi keyboard etc.

Nice. Bet you have one each of the classic keys.
Amazing artist!
No mention of the Waldorf Pulse 1 ?
Nice studio :-) Looks like she is using the 2018 mac mini !
I like seeing producers promoting and using Behringer. They're truly disrupting the market in a positive way.
Very cool
After watching this video, she should be called Synthie 😊
Haha true 🥰

did she tom cruise over the Pulse in the rack 😢 otherwise good tour 🙌
The Best!
What track is playing at 1:10?
That s my track „everything“ released on AUS music last year 🎉
How do they afford all that gear?

What are the music in the video ?:)

Is she running her own record label?
Yes i do 803 crystal grooves. I also used to run beste modus since 2011
Enjoy that
i think im in love
😊
😮
What a Woman 🫡
how many edits that the video had? it's all chopped and no hands on the gear
We filmed a lot of me jamming. But you are welcome to check my insta.. in case you think it s fake 🙄🙄
You don't need a 909. You need to know how to program drums and any 909 alternative will give you the same result.
😂😂 i did that for many years. With the 909 is much mire fun as i said many times in the feature 🤦🏻♀️
lol
First you get 200k worth of synthesizers and then you get a book on how to program them :D
No the book i had way before, i guess you didn t get it right 😁😁
Is this a parody?
Jealous 😂😂😂 so sorry you never did anything useful in you life . Keep hating 😂😂
Was this supposed to be funny?
All that gear, so little talent.
As if you could do better. Your comment shows how frustrated you are haha 😂
You’re having a laugh chap!!
Looking at your videos it's quite clear that you have no conception of what talent is LMFAO
She says her friend gave her a lot of gear.

So much gear. Such a generic sound.
As if you had knowledge about good music 😂😂😂 your comment is so dumb it hurts 😂😂
her music doesn't warrant having all this gear. She makes house music.
Yes, that is wat she said in the video too. She was very clear about it: she doesn't need it, but it's fun.
You'll never guess how house music was made...
