I have been playing low limit (.25ct/.50ct)VP for about 10 yrs now. Mostly DDBonus 9/5 and 8/5. Had more than my fair share of Royals. What I don't understand is why I should play an 8/5 Bonus Poker instead of a 8/5 DDBonus. Is it the two pair payout?
8/5 DDB with an ER of 96.78% is unplayable. You are much better off with 8/5 BP which has an ER of 99.17% and a much lower variance (even if you have to move up to in demon). Yes, the two pair is the key. In this particular session the two pair payout was keeping Andrew alive.
I agree about the music. It's so loud in there it makes it uncomfortable. I love everything else about it but we left as it was just obnoxiously loud.. .and this was midweek afternoon. I don't get it.
You play much better than I do but I do know that when I am down I slow down and try to play as close to perfect as I can. At 29.27 you held the Ace instead of the suited 2-4-5. Was it a mistake or did you have a resaon to do that? .
Thanks for the videos! They're quite enjoyable. I know you have reasons for the added music but dang it's loud! I have to turn down then volume real low because it's loud and super boring.It's okay the first 5-10 seconds but then it slowly drives a person insane! A constant loop for 30 minutes. I know it helps you with RUclips by masking the background music. Isn't it only a buck or two to have an actual song in the background? I honestly don't know.
If you could please....why do you hold a J and Q of different suits and let an A go when the game you are playing awards more money for A's? I would think if anything, you would hold the A and one of the other face cards which could [in a perfect world] give you 4 A's? I see you let A's go all the time and I think about your disclaimer "don't play like I play".

Right you are. It takes a lot of discipline and concentration to make the correct play every time over thousands of hands. I thought I played pretty perfect chart strategy until I started practicing using WinPoker. I didn't realize how many careless mistakes I was making (and I re-learned some penalty card situations I'd forgotten about). When you start out facing a 0.9% house edge, every tenth and hundredth counts, especially at higher denoms. If you're too tired to play correct strategy, time to take a break.
They're getting payback for the limo ride - this session is painful to watch. Guess you ought to be thsnkful for the occasional full house. Is the deat three of a kind tesser really necessary?? Seems like a cheap trick.

Yup you lose money a lot quicker with the DDB. Two pairs save your butt a lot in high limit.
