@davidmaco1 Thanks for kind words. Dville is an amazing experience. Strava follow accepted. Hit subscribe if you haven't already. It will help. Thanks!
Real cool video. But one thing that seemed weird to me, you are clearly a bad ass elite rider. But, why did you have to go through so many riders at the start? What class were you racing?
@XterrraRon: Good question. I'm not an elite. Just an amateur. This was the Expert 51-60 category, which starts five minutes after a wave of several combined expert age-group classes, all of which are younger than us. However, as you can see, they're not all faster, so we immediately start catching them and then spend most of the race passing them. The start locations presents a tough logistical challenge for the organizers, but there are ways they could make it better. Thanks for watching! Subscribe if you haven't already.
Bravo! We ride, but it's pretty clear we'd have been in those people dropped in the first 6 minutes.
Well done, Josh! Enjoyed the heck out of that recap (and really miss riding Downieville!).
Josh - You're an animal! Great video!
Awesome video! 7 minutes faster than last year is nuts, kudos. Also, couldn't believe the bear. 😁
Great storytelling, video footage, and editing! Thanks for creating this.
