Man I love that garage. You sir, are living the dream. At 6’6” myself, your channel is set aside from the rest for us big guys as we can relate. Thank you, and keep on reviewing!
this bike is arguably the coolest in all of the bonneville's line up especially with that gold line edition. The trade off is it's highly impractical - no pillion, storage is fairly limited, I also hear it's uncomfortable in the long run because of the seat. Having said that i'd still get it, it's the ultimate selfish man's bike.
It’s a problem easily solved! Buy a Speedmaster, put the optional mid-foot controls and the optional flat bar on it. Et Voila ! You have a Bobber Black with pillion and luggage capability.
Had a bobber at work, boss’s motorcycle which he never rode. Every evening to the tea shop and back, was literally riding on a wave of torque .. And I am happy that’s all I did with it and not take it any longer. Loved the engine, tbh it handled way better than what I was expecting and after a few more rides, I was seriously pushing the machine..Once you get used to it, that torque is addictive..
@@MrDarcy-OlMan never had the opportunity to ride any of those. The BMW R18 is something I am actually looking forward to take it out for a nice ride. Envy you Ol’man ..
My dream bike. I'm 6'1 with long legs compared to my torso so I normally feel weird on a lot of bikes but this one feels so good... saving to get myself one
Such a beautiful bike, bit of a dream bike really. I am really enjoying your reviews, such an amazing environment to ride in. Also great to hear a taller riders perspective on it! Great video this one, including the insight into your beautiful property and animals!
What a fantastic review, sir. I stumbled across the triumph, bobber by pure accident, and in doing so have been watching, and reading reviews over the last week. I thoroughly enjoyed everything you had to say, and got lost in your video. Keep up the good work .
Lovely bike and a lovely review as well. I just bought one of those a few weeks ago and am now waiting for its delivery. I was already sold on the looks of it and after the test ride I knew, I NEED THIS :D
I took delivery of a Goldline Speedmaster a couple of weeks ago, but with straight bars and mid foot controls, so effectively a Bobber with a comfy seat and a pillion. Absolutely love the bike! Can’t think of another bike that I’d rather have.
2:56 the voice changes to the real original voice briefly. Fantastic video. I bought my 2022 Triumph Bobber regular edition, Cordovan Red color and just love it. Another dealer had the Goldline, but, it looked too bright and flashy for my taste. But, I agree that the Goldline has a bit of more torque and accessories and hand-paint job, that makes it unique.
Great review mate! I just sold mine. Absolutely gorgeous looking bike. But with 190cm and 115-120 kilograms it was just to small for me. Whenever I could see myself in a store window because of the reflection I thought, awesome motorcycle but I look like a circus bear on a tricycle. Now I switched over to a Triumph Rocket Roadster :) This now feels much more comfortable for my height and weight. If the Bobber were available in an XL version, I would never give it away. Great bike but small...
I usually don’t get all excited about a bike unless it’s something like a beautiful, custom, CVO or something like that with those crazy paint jobs and such, but………that very first scene where you are standing there next to this bike, I was stunned at how freaking sexy this motorcycle is!! It’s beautiful, tough, modern, and old school all at the same time and it just floored me! What a freaking motorcycle! I want one!
I know I'm going to have to get one. The red-white goldline is my fave. In Thailand we don't have power/speed/torque restrictions so the bikes are fully tuned to the top specs. Thank you Gentle Giant for yet another review and some views of the green fields of England which i have not seen since 1989.
@@ducatireviews1136 Excellent! Yes I like the sound of living in an in restricted country (people think that of the UK for some unknown reason!). Thailand looks amazing
One of the very few motorcycles on which I can't find a blemish regarding looks. Everything is where it should be and looking like it should. Bravo Triumph.
Two of the things I like on this channel is the laid-back vibe and the locations. Your reviews are always nicely detailed and I think they are also excellent from the "daily rider´s point of view". Cheers from Brazil.
I never knew you could have forward controls on this bike. This has definitely caught my attention now. This gold line edition will definitely hold value in the long run. My garage needs one. Great video...
Love how this video has been done this time with the riding the bike out of the place it had been kept to the mini review to you grabbing your jacket from the 'gym'. Belting love all the videos though
The Bobber is the best looking new bike out there. If I could have more than one bike than this would be the one. As it is I'll stick with my Road King but someday a Bobber will be added to my stable. Thank you for the walk around of your farm, so beautiful. PS, you're looking great, "Old Man".

Love the camera work and the extra stops :) I was within inches of buying this gorgeous gold line edition, but ended up opting for the Street Scrambler in matte khaki/ironstone. It's been awesome!
This has got to be the best bike review I've seen. The info and review of the bike is spot on but the added bonus of seeing you move the sheep & donkeys was just genius. I love the Bobber but couldn't bear parting with my 2017 T120 (very modified). We're just in the process of buying a similar looking property in the heart of South Warwickshire. Couple of questions - are we going to see inside the gym and why is it that your wife is the one running around 🤣
Just bought this and it sits next to my 765rs. Took it around a few mountain rides here in my area(CA) . This thing is a surprising little beast. I am a short dude so the fact the bike is smaller is no biggie for me. I think this bobber is unique. Its not a cruiser, but is still super comfy. Its not a sport bike but let me tell you this thing can rip on some faster twisties. I feel like its pretty okay at everything, but the looks for me are the knock out thing, followed by the torque and sound. Def a bike that you need to ride to really understand. Plus you can do some pretty crazy stuff with it (Check out Thornton 100). You can make it a cool oldschool ride around town bike with back storage. Think like 1950's, or go super hard and do the sportbike front conversion with 4 piston upgraded brakes. Agree on the seat. Its find but after about an hour good god its not great lol. Some people do complain about the suspension and while its not even close to my 765rs its not that bad. Great video btw!
Man you guys do such a great job on these bike reviews! Plus, where you live/film is so beautiful I always look forward to your uploads. The bobber is literally a work of art. Keep up the great work!!!

And I just received my first t-shirt from your web site. Your videos are my favorite thing to watch hands down. Keep up the great work. Cheers fella’s
What a beautiful place you have! I love the bobber too! Ok, so it's impractical, selfish and painful for long rides. But I'm glad some bikes are built like this, with no compromises. It's also beautiful, badass and sounds magnificent. Can't think of a better bike for cruising round the countryside B roads. Great video.
Love the Bobber, although prefer the Speedmaster. All the Gold Line Triumphs look great. I have a Bonneville T120 Gold Line, and the paint and finish is spectacular. But my favourite part of this fantastic review has to be the sheep. They're gorgeous and so entertaining 😍
I have that exact bike, I have the Triumph High handle bars so much nicer easier in the back, installed frame rail leather bags with 2 aluminum gas bottles, rear fender rack with a leather tail bag on the fender rack, it makes people twist their heads as I go by, the ladies love the Triumph, so different than any thing on the road, i am 66 years young and ride hundreds of miles on it and love every mile, I made a set of panniers for it also, tell me where I can send video and i will Mr. Darcy.
Kind of ironic that women loves that bike, and it has no pillion seat for them to come along for a ride. ;) It is bloody gorgeous though, in my humble opinion the best looking bike on the market currently.
Excellent review, thank you. The Bobber is on my list of choices for a new bike in the Spring, more because of the coolness of it, but the Speedmaster is edging it out. I showed my wife the tour of the holiday let, she lovesvit and is now getting ideas. You have such a beautiful spot there.
Thanks buddy. Yes two great bikes! Great; the holiday let is a good base for touring Wales without being overrun by tourists and traffic like some parts of Wales (see forthcoming videos!)
You are right on those UK plates. I see a lot of UK riders passing through Belgium, and my god they are enormous. Our Belgian motorcycles plates are pretty decent. I would say half the size of the UK plate. The German ones are 75% the size of the UK ones.

It’s a cool bike however I bought the HD Softail Slim over the Triumph. Much the same style (bobber look) but much more comfortable on longer rides and seems to have more torque. Great review as always too.
Thank you! Your review actually made me buy one of these. Great review many thanks I run a black and white number plate on my small 250 looks great I've got to 58 years of age obeying all the rules but I'm afraid to say just don't care enough to worry about minor law breaking these days
needs a full front fender to protect the rad. of dirt .. and a few more inches in frt for a true 1930 retro look ..also some seat springs would fill the retro look out no need to work but just for looks along with some retro mufflers .. then i might buy one ..small changes mean a lot larger frt headlight in chrome
@@MrDarcy-OlMan yes but triumph has most of the bits on the shelf from other models and could do it at the same price ..thus offering a retro model ....shame a 1930-1940 style ..bit of this a bit of that ..the old color and badges .. triumph ia big in limited models for sales .. this would be a true collector model ..not the pin strip and $1,000 more rip off they do every few years ..but then they are not really British anymore are they ..even though they force the '' we are old english co '' in all the adds .. history and all that sort .. even dealers say made in England for years .. till they were caught ..shame .. just another foreign made bike in the end ...pity .. history repeats itself .. the pride of 2001 bonnie made in country gone ..dam shame ..

Love this Old Man! Makes me miss my horse ranch in New Mexico. Had 2 donkeys that looked just like yours. And love your casita. Who knows? Maybe someday... Love the Bobber Gold Line, but love my Speedmaster Goldline a bit more :)
To heck with the Bobber, being a city-raised California boy (who lives in the foothills of Yosemite, lol), I find the farm work in this video very enjoyable. But then again, I'm not doing the labor! This, I see, is why The Ol' Man stays in such monster shape.
I have a bobber you can move the seat back with a ring spanner you just need to be careful but I find if you move the seat back you tend to catch the side panels with the inside of your legs when you feet are on the ground which in time will mark the panels
Thanks for the review. I have an R18 first edition and was wondering where you are based in terms of the holiday let? Thanks for your great work. Nigel.
I have a 2016 V-Strom 650 xt witch I am selling in order to buy a new Tenere 700, Tuareg 660, Ducati Desert X or a new Honda Transalp (just a rumour atm). Yea it’s a great looking bike 👍🏼
I'd love to see a kawasaki W800 review. Best looking modern classic in my opinion.
Yes we really wanted to but Kawasaki have only just discovered RUclips and aren’t with it yet
@@MrDarcy-OlMan I'll secong the kawi w800...I've been looking at this bike lately
AWESOME JOB. THANKS. 70 YEAR OLD VET. IN SOUTHWEST UTAH, USA GOD BLESS. 😇
Great review many thanks I run a black and white number plate on my small 250 looks great
I've got to 58 years of age obeying all the rules but I'm afraid to say just don't care enough to worry about minor law breaking these days
Well done. Beautiful bike
Thanks very much 👍🏼👍🏼
O'lman you are simply a genius and good Motorcycle reviewer.i like your every episode of Reviews
Thanks very much 👍🏼👍🏼
@@MrDarcy-OlMan my pleasure
needs a full front fender to protect the rad. of dirt .. and a few more inches in frt for a true 1930 retro look ..also some seat springs would fill the retro look out no need to work but just for looks along with some retro mufflers .. then i might buy one ..small changes mean a lot larger frt headlight in chrome
I guess you could retro fit that 👍🏼
@@MrDarcy-OlMan yes but triumph has most of the bits on the shelf from other models and could do it at the same price ..thus offering a retro model ....shame a 1930-1940 style ..bit of this a bit of that ..the old color and badges .. triumph ia big in limited models for sales .. this would be a true collector model ..not the pin strip and $1,000 more rip off they do every few years ..but then they are not really British anymore are they ..even though they force the '' we are old english co '' in all the adds .. history and all that sort .. even dealers say made in England for years .. till they were caught ..shame .. just another foreign made bike in the end ...pity .. history repeats itself .. the pride of 2001 bonnie made in country gone ..dam shame ..
@@katana258 ok I get your points there. 👍🏼👍🏼
Absolutely a stunning bike. Hopefully there is a comfort seat available.
Yea I’m sure there is 👍🏼👍🏼
Very very cool. Triumph do pretty motorcycles.
On my retirement bike list!
Absolutely 👌🏼
Haven’t seen video yet - but OMG looking forward to this. I’ve had a Bobber Black for 4 years and longtime subscriber. Match made in heaven (I hope you like the bike!!)
Actually mate, for a big dude and a baby Bonnie frame - that actually looks great on you
Thanks buddy.
Yes when I saw it back I thought it looked pretty good 👍🏼👍🏼
@@MrDarcy-OlMan Spot on review as always. I still love my Bobber Black. It’s such a fun bike. I’ve toured on it, been off and commuted on it. Looked cool AF 100% of the time too. We need more bikes like this 🤘
your vids are so much cooler when a Triumph is involved, the rental looks awesome to, 👍
Thanks buddy 👍🏼👍🏼
Love the Bobber, but brought the speedmaster to accommodate the wife, loved the video & your accommodation looks fabulous. Thanks for all the info & good luck with the let 👍🏻😊
Thanks buddy 👍🏼👍🏼
Beautiful 🤩 the bobber is definitely one of my favourite top 5 triumphs that I ever had the pleasure to be apart of 🙏 and there’s definitely a lot of my sole blended into that bike another good review keep up the good work 🙏
Excellent!
Thanks very much 👍🏼👍🏼
Love this Old Man! Makes me miss my horse ranch in New Mexico. Had 2 donkeys that looked just like yours. And love your casita. Who knows? Maybe someday... Love the Bobber Gold Line, but love my Speedmaster Goldline a bit more :)
Great! Thanks very much. 👍🏼
Just off to buy a bobber goldline tomorrow thanks for the vid 👍

Seen one in the flesh yesterday in a dealer for sale, very nice.
Great 👍🏼👍🏼

Thanks very much!
Beautiful finish to the bike love triumphs now
Clunk-click every trip, love it! Have you signed up a new film director, opening scenes really excellent!
Yes I remember that.
No still all done in house. Thanks 👍🏼👍🏼
Great content brother.. as usual
Thanks buddy 👍🏼
Lovely looking holiday let, fantastic job on that. The toilet is great, looks like it has more chrome than my glitter & dust interceptor:)
Thanks very much! Haha yes 👍🏼
From across the pond your reviews are spot on simple description of the motorcycle no complicated explanation nice shit thk y stay safe out there
To heck with the Bobber, being a city-raised California boy (who lives in the foothills of Yosemite, lol), I find the farm work in this video very enjoyable. But then again, I'm not doing the labor! This, I see, is why The Ol' Man stays in such monster shape.
Might be the gym 😉💪🏼
I have a bobber you can move the seat back with a ring spanner you just need to be careful but I find if you move the seat back you tend to catch the side panels with the inside of your legs when you feet are on the ground which in time will mark the panels
Thanks buddy 👍🏼👍🏼
BEAUTIFUL bike❤
Absolutely 💯
Thanks for the review. I have an R18 first edition and was wondering where you are based in terms of the holiday let? Thanks for your great work. Nigel.
Thanks very much! Awesome.
Were 6 miles south of Llangollen 👍🏼👍🏼
cool bike with a bad ass looking dude riding it
Outstanding review 👍like always. Thanks for your videos
I have a 2016 V-Strom 650 xt witch I am selling in order to buy a new Tenere 700, Tuareg 660, Ducati Desert X or a new Honda Transalp (just a rumour atm).
I was also looking at the Triumph Tiger when I stumbled upon this beauty... Now I have to see how I can get two bikes without upsetting my gf and dad...
Decisions! 👍🏼👍🏼
Very Classic, reminds me of the BMW model that is also this style,
They resemble motorcycles in the time of wars, only like a lot of technology today, ! very good, hug brother!👍👊
Thanks buddy 👍🏼👍🏼
