    Thorough review, mate. I plan on purchasing the Revo 2.0. Just looking around for best deal. Someone on Amazon offers a free collapsible rear basket. Nice.

      We all like a bargain, me being no exception. Just be careful when buying online, all online prices are the same due to Prides online MAP policy (Minimum Advertised Price) if you find one cheaper than anyone else is selling is either not a Scooter or Pride Dealer and has no warranty, or either used, reconditioned or just not true (scam). Don't be suckered in by freebees as usually they are not up to much and worst of all, if there is something that goes wrong with the scooter no local dealer will be able to help you out as online sellers have a sperate contact with a repair company that you have to use. Let alone trying to contact someone at Amazon to explain your problem too. Try before you buy and get to know your local dealer.

    Hi Ian I'm right-side weak can I reverse the paddles because there the wrong way round for me = i want left pull for forward. Also when in France I seem to be going a lot slower than theirs. Is this something or a wire I can change. Nige.

      Hi Nigel, yes you normally can switch the throttle from right to left depending on the manufacture of the scooter by. I would take it to a local scooter dealer/repair place near to you as it might need to programmed. I normally do this service for free.
      Not sure what the model of scooter you have or the age, or the other ones you refer to regarding speed issue you have but it could be a number of things.

    We are looking to buy a scooter for my hubs who has MS. Main question: will it be good for him working outside around our acreage? Mainly pasture land w sparse short native prairie grass/hard packed ground. He will also take it camping, but will not be going where there are any crazy steep hills. My guy is 5' 11", weighs 180. Portability is a plus as well, as I'm a petite gal who will mostly be loading/unloading it.
    We currently have full size 4 wheeler, of course its not made for frequent start/stops as in watering trees around our property.
    Thanks for any feedback you may have.

      These scooters are not made for going on grass/pasture etc - only flat concrete surfaces mostly. I would not recommend getting a mobility scooter for that type of work (maybe an ATV). Also the Revo is heavy with the heaviest piece 57 pounds for a 4-wheel

      Thanks for your input. I’m fine lifting 57 lbs.. I’m petite but as an OT, I’m used to transferring patients. We currently have a 4 wheeler, but wanted something portable. However we may just have to nix the idea of getting portability AND something good on grass. Thanks again!

    Love mine I got the three wheel version in Grey. Takes apart easily and fits in the back end of my Tucson and best part I can charge it by just bringing in the batteries and scooter stays in the car.

      I'm so glad Pride re-released the Revo it was a great scooter back then too. Yes, the Revo batteries do not require any extra accessories to charge the batteries when they are off the scooter unlike the Golden version.

  • @21mountainman
    @21mountainman Год назад +1

    How long does the battery last.? Pride Colt, 250 euro's , last 6 months, and dead battery, what you think ?

    • @lasvegasscooterslifts
      @lasvegasscooterslifts  Год назад +1

      The batteries should be lasting longer than 6 months but it depends on where you store the scooter, temperature, terrain you drive on (e.g. inclines) how many times you charge the scooter. Group U1 32-35ah batteries should typically on average last 2 -3 years but again depends on all of the above. I'm going to release a video explaining everything regarding batteries SLA/GEL and Lithium and also chargers soon.

    I have noticed that you don’t seem to have any “service or repair” videos featuring the Revo scooter. Is this do to them not having as many issues as some other models, or perhaps fewer people have a Revo vs. the number of people who purchase the Go-Go or Victory series scooters.
    My wife has had her original Revo for about 16 years now and it has been rock solid. Only minor maintenance and battery replacements have been needed in all this years. That said, we are thinking of getting a replacement in the coming few months, so I am interested to know if the 2.0 version is as bull it proof as the original.

    • @lasvegasscooterslifts
      @lasvegasscooterslifts  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hi, the only repairs I've done to the new Revo 2.0 have been:
      1. Batteries, but thats normal
      2. A customer turned one into a submarine (drove it into Lake Mead)
      3. One fell of a vehicle lift and broke a rear wheel,
      4. Front wheel bearing replacement (whole wheel)
      5. A warranty faulty speed potentiometer
      So out of four only one has been a manufactures fault since its release
      As for the old ones I've never repair one but have seen them in for repair, but they have been too far gone.

    Fantastic review, thank you! I'm looking for one for my nearly 6ft Brother. It's either the Revo 3 or the Gogo Traveller Elite Sport but I'm swaying towards Revo. In your opinion would you favour the Revo or Gogo Sport? for comfort and ease?

    • @lasvegasscooterslifts
      @lasvegasscooterslifts  5 месяцев назад +1

      Great choices, there are up sides and down sides to both scooters, and it all depends on what your brother wants to use the scooter predominantly for. Both scooters can be disassembled for transporting in a vehicle so it would be down to what does he want to use the scooter for. If it would be for transport to go to from home to the store etc. or transporting in a vehicle to us at a destination such as a supermarket, doctors office, shopping mall etc. The Revo would be my choice for transport and the Sport would be my choice for disassembling and transporting in a vehicle.
      Here are the good and bad between each scooter
      The Sport has a 12-mile range verses 17 miles Revo 2
      The weight and size of the sport makes it easier to disassemble and lighter to lift into a vehicle than the Revo 2.
      The Revo 2 has great suspension for outdoor travel whereas the sport doesn't have any suspension.
      As for comfort the Revo does feature a larger more padded seat verses the sport but with a larger seat comes a heavier compromise.
      The Revo 2 has front and rear lights and USB charging port where the sport only has a front pathway light.
      The 3-wheel Sport has not as much foot room as the Revo 2 3-wheel version. Hope this helps.

    Could you tell me how tall the highest point of the scooter is once broken down? I imagine it is the seat post. I would want to slide it under the elevated bed in my motor home conversion and need to know if it would fit. Thank you.

    • @lasvegasscooterslifts
      @lasvegasscooterslifts  Год назад

      Unfortunately, I do not have this scooter in store as it was a customers and pride do not give those kinds of dimensions. Your best bet is to go to your local dealer who has one of these scooters so you can see and measure the scooter to see if will fit your needs.

    • @lasvegasscooterslifts
      @lasvegasscooterslifts  7 месяцев назад +1

      HI Lynn, please forgive me I'm not sure I understand the question correctly. The Revo like all scooters will turn just like a car would in reverse. If you are refiring to the ZT8 or ZT10 with the iTurn technology, the steering monitor will detect a tight turn and operate the motors accordingly either in forward or reverse much like a power wheelchair does.

    The Revo is not a good scooter. I've owned for only one year and two months after purchase, one of the pin connections broke off rendering the scooter useless. Had to pull teeth to get pride to fix it. Now one year later, the tiller knob broke off.. Cheaper made plastic piece. Pride will not warranty this. I will never buy any pride product ever again. Their products are made with cheap parts and they will not warranty anything.

      Hi Carrie I know you're venting through frustration, but this channel is not affiliated with Pride Mobility Corp and I'm not a paid employee of Pride. Maybe you should leave this review on their google page??
      That being said where did you purchase the scooter from? surly they should of been able to assist you? As for the tiller knob, the only thing I've seen break is, over time the metal teeth get worn down from the knob not being tight enough. The tiller lock knobs are made from really solid plastic and takes some real force to brake them (hammer). The only time I see broken lock knobs is if the customer has damaged it themselves some way (dropped) or if the scooter has been left outside and has got weather damaged (years). Thanks for you review/comment all the best Ian Las Vegas Scooters and Lifts

      @@lasvegasscooterslifts you are right, very frustrated about this and I fixed the issue myself by replacing with a different pride victory 10 knob. Pride wanted to charge me $127 for basically a bolt and knob with a screw in it.. If possible I'll remove my comment and place it on their page as you suggested. Thanks and have a blessed day! =)
