I tried the bulwark method.. I got wrecked. Had to eat multiple times every kill, and out of food after 3 kills. Im maxed with identical gear.. Not sure whats going on
that was due in part to the update that came out recently! Attack stats on it were buffed from 7tick to 5 tick plus higher accuracy/damage but the defense was lowered a bit. Essentially nerfed the tankiness but huge buff overall
It doesn't even matter if the kills are 100% afk. Just semi afk is fine since osrs is never truly afk anyways. No matter what you will have to interact at certain intervals with whatever you're doing.
Just got the pet at 610kc using the dinhs and justi set up, worked so well and really let me work on the GIM at the same time. Great video, thanks so much. Looking forward to the next afk boss grind!
Cool strat. I was able to use the Justiciar + Dinh's, without Blood Fury. ~5 kill trips. I used Thralls as well which definitely helps speed kills up a bit. The Dinh's Bulwark spec can hit over 50 on Sarachnis. Which is hilarious. It can also kill 2-3 of the other spiders around you if they're grouped tightly, so I saw 300-400 xp drops when using the bulwark spec. My stats: 98 Attk, 99 Str, 92 Def, 99 HP, 85 Prayer. I don't want to buy a Blood Fury, so I tried the Torture. Then I changed to a Bonecrusher Necklace for the prayer bonus. Then I swapped the Fire Cape for the HP cape for the HP regen and prayer bonus. Seems similar kill times to when I tried Elder Maul and Abyssal Bludgeon. But with this method you don't really need to look at the screen that much, and it makes Sarachnis more like Rune Dragons. I used to dislike this boss cause you're just facetanking a ton of damage, but this makes it more camp-able. Bit counter-intuitive though. My melee-brain wants to use Torture and Primordials and Berserker Ring and Ferocious Gloves, but because of how the Dinh's works now, you use defensive capes/defensive amulets/guardian boots/suffering/barrows gloves. I feel like this would be a useful strat when flinching kalphite queen for monster trips. Dinh's spec hits 2x 40s on Sarachnis and kills the spiders around you in 1-hit. This is so broken lol.

You can use this same method for Kalphite Queen and hit 40s through her prayer on 2nd phase too. Got 3 kills in a trip just facetanking her without Blood Fury or thralls etc. I'm quite curious to see what this method would be like on-task wearing Slayer helm tbh.

for the last setup with the dhins you can combine it with "death charge" & "resurrect greater skeleton/zombie" on the arceuus spellbook for insane trips. im 125 cmb with maxed cmb stats besides 96 def & i was getting 15 kill trips literally afking lol. The death charge spell is sick for when the minions spawn you can cast it & get some spec back for ur dhins when you kill them. (low key the dhins spec smacks?)
I have everything listed for justi+Dihn's set up and she absolutely wrecks me. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. B gloves, blood fury, ring of suffering (i) for extra bonuses, full justi+dihn's and she still hits me CONSTANTLY! Tell me what I'm doing wrong? I get to half health every kill and it's just atrocious... way worse than my normal set up

Will definitely be trying this, just lost my 150m bank to a hacker. Made a stupid mistake, clicked a link while half asleep, realized my mistake as soon as i did it, got ddosed and when i logged in most everything was gone. Made 10m or so over the last couple days rebuilding. Don't have DS2 or SOTE done, only started last september and hate grinding out quests, i get them done when i can, about 190qp so those will come soon. Hit 90 slayer just yesterday. Hoping to get back to where i was within a couple months, will definitely be trying this when i can afford the 65m setup. Wish I could go back in time with this info, I would've done this in a heartbeat.

What is the reason for praying mage over ranged or melee? I get that you have lower magic def, but isn't it only the spawn that deals magic dmg and is it really that high that it makes it worth while over the others?
I actually tried this setup before seeing the vid (bulwark/justi) and I can attest you take a ton of mage damage. With afk being the focus I believe that's why the pray mage is chosen. Your health over Sarachnisis pretty much.

Stats: Max CB except prayer. Pray: Overhead only, no piety. Based on drain I think he does use piety in video. Boss kill time: 2:30~3:30 (note: no piety) TLDR: I don't know what level of AFK are you expecting, but it is not AFK enough for me and uses quite a lot of anglers. But will try again some other time and report the new values with piety switched on. (only did about 10+ kills) Fundamentally, its not Vyrewatch level of AFK, and is almost the same amount of attention as multiarea cannoning task where you constantly refill your cannonballs. Sarachnis can still occasionally hit you pretty hard with this setup and along with getting stacked by the spiders, I wouldn't say you want to really afk here. And blood fury doesn't really heal you that fast, and you will need angler fish to last > 2 kc trip (i.e. rays don't cut). The reason why the he prayed mage is likely due to the blue spider, but what I have found is that at least for my

This is AFK in the sense that it's not vork nor hunlef. Quite possibly kraken without blood barrage as your main attack. I wouldnt really say its a money maker but 500kph is possible

75s with super set is all u need I did this in full void melee with abby whip dfs no piety got about 3-4 kills on phone with mistakes. With piety it's alot faster imo
How I afk it, is using the crystal hally while walking, always pray range. Blood fury+melee str bonus/ magic defence armour, I usually us a b ring/Karol top+ v skirt, fire cape. Very cheap set up and you only need a few bits of food and prayer pots, food is just a safety net. I’m an ironman so is one of the best afk set ups I’ve found so far with my current gear
pretty similar to one of the strategies i tried in the fight caves in the videos i mentioned before. as an iron its def not bad, but i wouldnt waste the blood fury charges, personally

Holy wrench is moreorless useless. The benefit in the max cape (because of prayer cape) is nice, but there are very few situations where its actually useful imo. Mainly afk slayer tasks where inventory isnt an issue

when using dinh's what prayers do you use besides magic?
Currently using Justi, mace and ely. Ancient Godsword allows me to bring much more restores and less food. Allows for much longer trips.
So that last set up might be amazing for phosanis nightmare. Dope.
If you stand on the eat web near the coffin you can hit sarrachnis at all tomes with bofa, and the melees sometimes spawn outside of aggro range.

It’s fairly easy, I’d say base 80s is totally fine. Higher magic defense is a big bonus, so 90+ magic will help a lot
